“ABSOLUTELY incredible experience. Waitress was amazing, food was out of this world, their sake list was sick. Literally one of the best meals I have EVER had. We did omakase style and just trusted the waitress and chef to work it out. 11/10. Fish was so fresh and tasty. Everything was just WOW. i really want to try their new sushi place they opened up on The Hill (Italian neighborhood). Very difficult to get reservations here but well worth the effort.“

“This was very first time eating here. The cuisine is excellent! I had the lunch special, Generals chicken for $10.99. Fast, gracious, attentive service once you are seated. However, they never even made eye or greeted me upon arrival, or after sitting down. Make sure you initiate it or you may be "waiting to be seated" for awhile lol.“

“Basil India makes some of the most flavorful Indian food I've had in recent memory. Every dish I've tried is bursting with flavor, and is served temperature-hot, and spicy-hot (if you please). Vegan options are few, but those they do have are excellent. The wait staff are friendly and attentive.Yet I don't enjoy hanging out in the restaurant. It is too brightly lit (at certain tables, you feel spotlighted), the furniture is not comfortable, and, worst of all, it is loud. You will hear clamor from the kitchen, the loud banter of other diners, and music that is turned up too high. I enjoy the food immensely, but when I dine in, I want to eat as quickly as possible so I can get out of there. It's not relaxing. If Basil India can fix the ambiance, five stars all the way! In the meantime, I will keep ordering the incomparably zesty Vegan Tikka Masala for takeout.Vegetarian options: Vegan Tikka Masala is amazingly flavorful. Lotus Seed Thai Curry is a close second.“

“The food was hot and delicious. The service was excellent; very attentive and knowledgeable.Very, very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The only unfortunate business process was that they charge a percentage of you pay using debit/credit card. If you pay using cash is not an issue.I will be a returning customer paying with cash.“

“Had dinner this evening at Sen Thai. Sat at the bar. Bartender was friendly but didn't really ask me typical usually questions when ordering Thai food. I had the Tom yum soup, a crispy salmon hand roll ( as they have sushi as well) and crying tiger beef. I love my Thai food very spicy. With that I wasn't ever asked my spice level. My soup was good. The crying tiger salad was really good just wish it was spicier. I asked for Thai chilies in fish sauce to help bring more heat to it. Over all good food. Not super authentic but good. Would come back for sure.“
“Wonderful and tasty Thai food at a reasonable price. Friendly service from start to finish. We stayed in the Volcano area for two nights and had dinners from Tuk Tuk Thai Food both nights. We had the Pad Thai, Summer Rolls, Green Curry and Eggplant Stir Fry. All dishes were delicious, flavorful, hot, fresh and generous. Recommend ordering ahead before picking up. Enjoy!“

“Thai Orchid is still our favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis. Every dish is full of flavor and the staff are always so pleasant. Our Go-to orders are Thai Fried Rice 2 star spicy, Pad See Ew 3 star spicy, and Pad Thai 2 star spicy... and they serve the best mango and sweet rice here. ❤❤“

“I've been here with my friends and family many times and it is the best thai food in St. Louis. The portions are generous and we have not tried a dish that wasn't awesome. Our favorites include basil fried rice, pad woon sen, and green curry.“

“The food was fantastic. I had the pineapple fried rice and the spring rolls. The pineapple fried rice was enough for 2 people. The pineapple tasted fresh and sweet. The spring rolls were light and the sauce was perfect. The service was great.“

“The Thai food scene in STL has been in dire straits recently, with Chao Baan falling off hard and King & I departing for the county. So you can imagine my excitement when I saw Thai Kitchen was opening nearby. My meal last night was excellent. The yellow curry was rich with just the right spice level, and the rangoons were delicious. This will be my go-to Thai takeout spot from now on.Only issue is that their pickup procedure is a little unclear. It's supposed to be a no-contact pick-up, where you get your food from a locker in the lobby (unlocked via a check-in kiosk). But I guess Thai Kitchen isn't using that system, so I had to wait around a bit to ask someone for my food.“

“I live laugh love Ocha. Anytime I am able to suggest where to go eat, I always say Ocha. The family that owns the establishment is extremely lovely. I have never felt sick after eating here, and it's been many years! The atmosphere is nice, it's nothing flashy but it feels very homey. The place is always very tidy. The service (in my experience) has always been great and the food always comes quickly. The prices are also affordable. If your in Saint Louis definitely come here!!“

“The absolute best Hot and Sour Soup anywhere! Such wonderful and friendly people who operate it as well. They will do special orders if they aren't too busy. A lot of wonderful things on the menu that you don't find at other Chinese restaurants.“

“Great Pad Thai and sushi. Clean dining room. Attentive staff. On one occasion,, I was there near closing and they started cleaning the restrooms and the chemicals reached our table through the air as they were spraying the tables down (terrible practice I frequently notice in restaurants - you should spray the rag directly instead while patrons are present for this exact reason). Now I just make sure I'm not there on the later side of dinner service.Parking: Practically empty lot as most (all?) of the other businesses in the same strip mall have closed.“

“Fabulous service for dinner and the food was excellent as well. I met a friend here for dinner with me arriving early. So I started off with a beer and the "Hoy Jaw" dumplings that arrived a few minutes later. Shrimp, crab, pork all mixed and served with a sweet Thai chili mix that was perfect for dipping. Yummy and it was my intention to save half for my friend, I ended up eating them all. Oops.I heard that it was the Khao Soi was the thing to have, so that's what I ordered with chicken. It was flavorful, loaded with texture and delicious. A curry soup with Thai egg noodles and greens, I'd skip the crispy egg noodles on top next time as they were in the way a lot.My friend ordered a Pad Thai, asking for "9" level of heat. He spent the first half of his meal saying that he couldn't find the hot and the second half asking for more water. Funny. So there you go.A fantastic meal in a cozy little restaurant with excellent service from all the staff. Perfect!Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious meatless options!Parking: Read the signs carefully and don't block a fire hydrant!“

“This is the best! I come from Thai roots as well as traveling back to Thailand and this food reminds me of my mom's cooking and her homeland. This is a family owned business and I have never had a bad experience here. The dining room isn't open and that's okay, I absolutely hate reading negative reviews around their dining area not being open. If you give 1 star because of that, get over yourself and your ego. These people are amazing and have the best food! My new favorite has been the Nam Sod (chicken salad). So tasty and spicy. You can never go wrong with their curries or drunken noodles.“

“Second time here and today, I came here for lunch. It wasn't busy. Staff was very friendly. They greeted us by bowing, I love it! Veggie spring rolls were fresh, crunchy, umami + more delicious with the red sauce. Pork bun was rich flavorful, I love it! But I was hoping to get traditional cuke salad, all I got was lots of lots of sliced cukes with giant onion pieces swimming in watery sesame oil. Also the prices skyrocketed. :/ booo.. I am hoping to get more from this cute little place next time.“

“I have been going here since I was 2 years old and Thai country cafe has never failed to produce the BEST shrimp pad Thai AND crab Rangoon in St. Louis. Their food continues for 16 years to be fresh and had not changed in taste. I will always come here❤️“

“We visited St. Louis for a conference and found this Thai restaurant near the convention center. Sure glad we did! The food was fresh, attractive, and well-prepared. We had the dumplings for a starter and then my wife had Pad Thai and I had the Thai Sweet Basil Chili Bomb. Amazing all around. Plus the young lady who served us was as polite and attentive as can be. I've bookmarked this place for the next time we're in St. Louis.“
