“Great place for lunch. Plate lunch is pretty standard but the helpings are large and a good buy for $10. Wait staff are friendly and it does take a little longer for your order to come out but its served hot and worth the wait. Tried the cheeseburger Po Boy this trip. The bread was perfect 10inch long with two homemade patties sliced in half and a bunch of fries. Very filling and better than most of the other places in the area.“
“This was the second time coming here, and it was not a disappointment! We had oysters, gumbo, Ceasars salad, and shrimp tacos, and to top it off, we finished with bread pudding. The servers we fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. Would definitely recommend to friends and families. The only thing I would say is I wish the tortillas for the tacos were bigger!!!!“
“This place is amazing! The food selection is great and everything tastes amazing! The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining with plenty of tables and space. The inside is creatively decorated with string lights and paintings by the owner. Staff and service are great, and you won't leave unhappy.“
“Unfortunately I have to be a bit negative, but there were positives. Not sure if it's normal but you pick your own seating. It took 15 minutes or more to get drinks and food ordered, it seemed longer. The food did arrive quickly. Wife got a cheeseburger and fries. She wasn't impressed. It was greasy and not flavorful except it was hamburger. My experience was better. I had breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and 2 pancakes. Fyi, the hash browns come with onions so beware, the waitress did let me know that. Phew, not into onions for breakfast. Everything was cooked exactly how I like breakfast, yum. My wife wanted a dessert to share, we got the Mississippi mud pie. It has a pecan crust, small cream cheese layer, next is chocolate cream, then whipped topping. You'd think it should be cool to cold but was apparently microwaved. Ugh. Once we got past the warm outer part it was much better cool. We were told the beignets are the best around outside of New Orleans but didn't try them ourselves. The atmosphere was quaint like you'd want from a local restaurant. Plenty of decor inside and out to match the name. It was mostly clean inside and out. I did get a little sticky something on my hand from pulling the chair out (syrup I'm guessing). There seemed to be enough parking for the restaurant size. I'd go back for breakfast:). Prices were a bit high, but for mid February 2024, sadly it's what we all deal with.“
“Had the best family dinner ever here at Harbor View Cafe! Amazing food, awesome staff, and a great time! Carlen was our waiter and he took the best care of us and made it a special night! Highly Recommend!!!Kid-friendliness: Birthday cheesecake and delicious kid menu options!“
“5:00 in the evening. Had a "breakfast" dinner. Wife had the omelette and I had a regular type breakfast of 2 eggs, sausage patties, grits, and toast. Everything was very good and tasty. There was no crowd of people there. 3 other tables were families with children. A nice evening and experience.“
“Food was good. Service was good. This was our first time trying it. I thought it was a high end restaurant based on the exterior. This is on same level as Outback but ambiance is much better. It was not crowded for a Friday night either. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were very good; wish they would use large portobello mushrooms though. Serving of four seemed like a small amount. We both got salad with our meals. It reminded me of the bag salad from the grocery stores. Bread was warm and very tasty. Husband had steak and baked potatoes. I had the eggplant, shrimp and crab casserole which was really good. Didn't have room for dessert so maybe next time.“
“We were referred by Ryan Henry, sales associate at Allen Turner Hyundai. What a great recommendation. We absolutely LOVED it. Our server Lauren D. was awesome! Friendly and very attentive. The food was off the chain and more than we could eat. The atmosphere was lively, fun and relaxed. Their bushwhackers were to die for as well. We will be back and will ask for Lauren.“
“Brandy was amazing! Everything from the service to the atmosphere was great! We sat outside with my dog as we just came from a dog show in the area; all of us were tired, hungry, and hot, but Brandy had us covered including my dog. She gave recommendations for us and showed me the dog menu as well. I can not say enough good things about our experience! Definitely a 10/10.“
“Traditional breakfast, two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Coffee and small juice, all served with a smile. The wait between order and food was fast with the food piping hot and perfect. Great place. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu (eggs, pancakes, French Toast, omelets) are vegetarian but, obviously, not vegan.“
“My wife and I went and an amazing dinner tonight. All of the food was delicious and the upstairs bartending staff Toby and Megan made an all ready great night even more enjoyable. All around amazing service, food, and atmosphere. I 100% recommend this restaurant.“
“when you walk into Mama's, you might not think much since it's just a counter and 2 small tables but from the smells coming out the kitchen and the friendly guy taking your order alone, you will already be excited to eat. I found Mama's maybe 4 weeks ago and we have been at least 8 times. everything is cooked fresh, it only takes about 15 minutes no matter what you order for your food to come out cooked perfectly and delicious. We have order a lot of different items on their extremely cheap menu and we havent found anything we didn't like. Definitely a weekly meal and no matter what you want from seafood to delicious hamburgers, this is the best place to eat in Gulfport“
“It's really nice inside, but the wait can be ridiculously long. My wife and I ordered a salad and it took over 40 minutes to get it. The waitress kept apologizing, and that was nice of her. However, that's way too long to wait for a salad.“
“The food is good. Our server was so nice, friendly, & treated me with excellent customer service. The food was good. It was just so cold in there. If you're cold natured please wear a sweater. The parking is pretty good.Parking: The parking is decent.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp if needed to use a wheelchair“
“First time dining at the Hook, top quality & fresh catch of the day! We had the triple tail with "The Pass" sauce which was a butter garlic sauce with crab & shrimp! Definitely rich but not heavy where it weighs you down! Had the bread pudding for dessert & it's the best I've had, definitely will be back!“
“This is one of those easy to miss scruffy shack type places with absolutely incredible food, great service and a bunch of picnic tables on a grass area right on the beach. One of the best and most memorable meal experiences ever. I am coming back several times while I am still in the area.Parking: Right next to a large free municipal lot. Probably crowded during peak tourist season, but plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor picnic tables right on a sandy beach. Perfect for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Right on ground level off the parking lot - should be navigable“
“This is a unique, little restaurant with excellent food and superior ambiance. As soon as I walked in the door and was shown to the room that was exclusively for our eight people birthday party, I knew this was a most unusual place. The food was perfect. I had one of the most delicious smoked tuna dip I've ever had!The waitstaff is superior in every way. Our waitress was efficient, quick to refill water and tea, and waited patiently to get our orders. My only suggestion is to put up a sign indicating which way to go once you park. I circled the parking lot three times before I saw my friend waving at me. I would hate for that lovely, little place to miss even one person.“
“We received a warm greeting as we walked in.Ashley was our friendly server. The food was great! We had the fried green tomatoes, steakhouse sandwich, sweet hot pecan chicken, the kids mac n cheese and broccoli. All portions were generous and well prepared. A great experience overall.“
“I have heard about this place ever since I moved down. Finally made it over Saturday. Every word I heard was true. Great, great po boys!!! Best onion rings I've had in a long time. I've been hunting a catfish po boy ...Found It!!! Plus the Roast Beef Po boy was excellent too! Don't forget the ice cold Barqs in the old glass bottles, a must. Great atmosphere, clean, quite, family friendly w a game room for the kids. I bet this is the place for the weekend game. It was quite and busy w takeout when I visited. Will make Priates Cove a must on my restaurant rotation!“
“My boyfriend and I came in this evening for dinner, this was my first time ever eating at Waffle house. Madison was our waitress. She was very kind, sweet and attentive. The food was excellent! Props to the gentleman cooking tonight, hands down some of the best food I've had!! The restaurant was clean and as Madison was helping other customers the other waitress was cleaning and taking care her duty's.We will definitely be back! ?“
“Perfect local dinner! Great meat and vegetables plates. Filled with flavor and large portions. We had chicken fried steak with white gravy and hamburger steak w brown gravy. And a side of fresh fried okra. One waitress buzzed around quickly and handled everyone with a smile. Definitely go back for more!“

They were very well was no dirt on them collard greens, and when I say that crawfish was great I gone back caused there gone be my new friend if you in the area, please stop by it is worth your time your money, and your tummy will be happy“
“Clean him the front to the back excel rent management as well as the owner who is a vibrant outspoken classy women who is guaranteed to bring this breakfast spot into a top rated restaurant energetic staff that’s on it when asking them for anything the food tastes and looks like the images their advertising fresh maid food great environment great food couldn’t ask for in a breakfast restaurant“
“I don't have not one complaint the Customer service is everything. In the chicken baby the fried chicken Better than Grandma's. It's seasoned And fried to perfection Not over priced. The inside is clean. I don't have not one complaint 10 outta 10“
“Such a surprisingly pleasant experience! The cashier was more than patient answering my questions and even making great suggestions. This was my first time ever at this restaurant or any Captain D's. I am very picky when it comes to fish so I normally don't order any at fast food or restaurants. However, my husband said they have the best fish. So I ordered the fish and shrimp and boy was it great! Hot!! Lightly battered and had a gentle crunch. Not at all what I was expecting. And it wasn't "fishy" smelling or tasting which was a big relief. I guess to explain further, it tasted like fresh fish and not rotten strong smelling and tasting fish. Which was perfect for me! Even enjoyed the Mac and cheese which was worth the upcharge to change from fries. Bush puppies were pretty goid as well! Another one I'll add to my "I will be back" list ☺️- Also, the restaurant was very clean. Big plus!“
“Our waitress was so kind and sweet to our children! Took them a minute to make their order but she was so patient with them and recommended the new strawberry waffles so my son and I got them and we loved them! My kids would recommend the sweet tea as well, pretty delicious. My husband got cheese grits and was hesitant about how they would be and they were amazing! So glad we stopped in for brunch it's been awhile since we went to a waffle house and this one did not disappoint!“
“Oasis Grill is a wonderful family-friendly restaurant in Gulfport. Great quality food, large portions, and a good value. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner so much, we came back for breakfast the next day! The restaurant is on the beautiful grounds of Centennial Plaza in Building 6.Kid-friendliness: Many kid-friendly meal choices.Wheelchair accessibility: A smooth ramp leads up to the building. Restaurant is on the first floor.“
“If I could give more than 5 stars...I would! From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. I don't even know where to start with the food? So, so yummy!! We had fried crab claws and bacon for appetizers. Absolutely delicious! Literally EVERYTHING we ate was delicious!“
“1st time here. Came to grab a bite and drink and go home, but ended up closing the bar down. The night I came was karaoke night. And even though there weren't many of us in there, we had so much fun. I came in alone and left with new friends. The parking lot is big, and spots are wide enough for my lifted truck to fit in one. The bartender, Tucker, told me they have a concrete pad for a motorcycle to park on under the building. They really did think of everything.I will definitely recommend this location, and the views are pretty. It sits right off a Mississippi Bayou. With water access, pull your boat up the dock and go enjoy Pier 15.Parking: Wide parking spots on gravel.Concrete pads for motorcycles to park on. Handicap parking right by ramp.Wheelchair accessibility: Access into Pier 15 top is a long ADA width ramp with handrails on both sides. And nice wide sidewalks and pier on the bottom.“
“Newk's is a go-to for me, especially for their delicious soup and salad, as well as tasty pizzas. However, I had a less-than-ideal experience with one of their desserts, so I've refrained from ordering them since. During my last visit, I also noticed the absence of packs of breadsticks. Can you confirm if they discontinued that option?Parking: Plenty.Kid-friendliness: Yes.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.“
“The waffle house location is right on Highway 90 in Gulfport. It has a great view. They were not very busy. The food was of course excellent. I would recommend a pecan waffle or blueberry waffle. They are the bomb. Of course their hashbrowns are tasty as always, eggs were cooked well, and I chose their ham which was very good. The server just seemed to be a little bit out of it, but you know everybody has their days. And who doesn’t like waffle house, right? !“
“it's the waffle house. you know why you're there when you're there! The lady behind the counter welcomed me back even though it was my first time at this particular waho. When my wife got there she insisted that I'd been there before so I looked her dead in the eye and said "Ma'am you must have me confused with some other guy. this is my first time here" so she was like "riiiight" and winked at me....lmao Well, can I argue with that!? Our waitress did an EXCELLENT job. the food was delicious. Will go back.“
“I’ve been going here for many years, and it is still the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff is great, the atmosphere is lovely, but the only thing I would complain about is the inconvenient hours. They are closed three days a week, sun-tues, and it’s extremely unfortunate.“
“She has the best Philly on the coast, and honestly the rest of her menu blows most places around here out of the water. I love the seasoned fries with her cooking. I never have had a bad experience and the food is always exactly what I wanted and more. Her prices are a steal not a deal, and I’m more than happy to pay for authentic food cooked with love. I’d call ahead if you didn’t want to wait 10 mins as it’s only her working her magic cooking, but sometimes I just sit outside and enjoy the wait. SHE ALWAYS SAYS THE WAITS A HOT MINUTE BUT IT NEVER IS LOL. She cooks fast. WHEN YOU GO BRING CASH TIP. She deserves it. Thanks for sharing your wonderful food with us. !“
