“Our first time enjoying lunch here, but we have absolutely no complaints! We enjoyed our meal on the balcony overlooking the water, our waitress came down Sick but very quickly we had a new waitress even with all that our order was not mixed up or wrong or anything, so we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I'm sure we'll be back.“

“I was blown away today by the way all of the staff there today welcomed and took care of my family for Mother’s Day. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone was so warm and full of love. I love how it is family-owned! Darwell even gave the moms a Mother’s Day gift.They had great recommendations. And…..the FOOD. Y’all…that in itself is a whole other experience, but it was AMAZING. Again, so obvious it was all made with love. Everything was so different, yet all mouth-watering.Thank y’all for what you do and making this so much more than a restaurant, but a great memory. The genuine smiles we saw as we were leaving by everyone were the icing on the cake!“

“Wait staff was good. Guy at register wasn't very friendly and a little condescending, so that is why the 3 stars for service. But the girls waiting tables and throughout the restaurant were very nice....they would get a 5 star for service. Sweet potato fries are awesome and so was the burger.“

“Great place to relax & enjoy a delicious meal. Always greeted & seated promptly. Margaritas are nom nom. Look @ the board for specials. Sometimes I just walk in to place a to go order...service is fast ! They serve complimentary chips & salsa . I always order a peach or mango frozen margarita. ??“

“5:00 in the evening. Had a "breakfast" dinner. Wife had the omelette and I had a regular type breakfast of 2 eggs, sausage patties, grits, and toast. Everything was very good and tasty. There was no crowd of people there. 3 other tables were families with children. A nice evening and experience.“

“Basil’s has become our Friday night place to eat since moving to Diamondhead. I love Thai and Vietnamese food and I can get both at Basil’s. Their Tom Kha coconut with shrimp soup is fabulous. Their Spring rolls, pineapple fried rice and curries are great. Helping are big, food is well seasoned and hot (heat wise). Small but clean, reasonably priced and served in a timely manner. Located off the beaten path, they are a locals hideaway and do a busy takeout business. If you’re there on a Friday night and see a Jeep named Bigfoot, that’ll be us. Stop in and say hello.“

“Located right across from the beach. Decent menu and some deck seating. The chips are seasoned. The pineapple fajitas was a great choice. The main let down was the service (or lack of). We spent a lot of time waiting to order, get our food, and to pay our bill.“

“There is plenty of choices , everything is clean , and fresh . I enjoyed the food items. There is a good cook in the kitchen. I've been here several times and it's always busy. But we got a seat right away. Me and my friend love going here for lunch . The tea is the best on the coast.“
