“when you walk into Mama's, you might not think much since it's just a counter and 2 small tables but from the smells coming out the kitchen and the friendly guy taking your order alone, you will already be excited to eat. I found Mama's maybe 4 weeks ago and we have been at least 8 times. everything is cooked fresh, it only takes about 15 minutes no matter what you order for your food to come out cooked perfectly and delicious. We have order a lot of different items on their extremely cheap menu and we havent found anything we didn't like. Definitely a weekly meal and no matter what you want from seafood to delicious hamburgers, this is the best place to eat in Gulfport“

“The server was very personable, but my order was incorrect twice before I finally got my food. I had ordered a pecan waffle, but I was brought pecan-crusted chicken. I sent that back to the kitchen and was then brought chicken and waffles. I returned that to the kitchen and was finally brought the correct dish. Unfortunately, the other five guests were almost finished with their meals before I got mine. I was surprised when I was charged the full amount for my meal after all of the errors and was not offered a discount, free dessert, or any other amends.“

“Went and got an 8 pack. They forgot my mashed potatoes (didnt realize till I got home). Overall, solid chicken. I would have liked some more salt but the spicy chicken was good. Im a huge bojangles fan so hard to live up to them. Great chicken though and great prices. Take cash (but they do have an ATM)“

“We came to grab some Beignets’s to go. The lady and gentleman at the front were very helpful even though they were very busy. We ordered 2 mimosa’s to go and an order of traditional Beignet. They were absolutely delicious and the lovely lad even gave us an extra one. Highly recommend this beautiful, quaint spot. Thank you :)“

“Island view should be a shame charging 12,99 for a burger and fries they take all of your money and over charge for sub standards food the rooms don't have a microwave so you can't heat up your food if coming to the coast and have free rooms stay but play somewhere ealse.good luck. “They are a hole in the wall restaurant with no ambiance, but the food brings me over from Ocean Springs. They put enough heat in spicy entrees if you request it. The food always is served piping hot without unpleasant grease and smells amazing. I've had general tso, dragon and Phoenix, Singapore mei fun, fried and white rice, dumplings, Hunan beef, Chinese style egg rolls and Vietnamese style spring rolls, and even got them to make general tso without breading the chicken when I was keeping a low gluten diet. One note: This is not a buffet. Everything is cooked to order by good cooks. You deserve better than buffet food.“

“Ordered the shrimp cocktail and coleslaw for starters, the seafood platter with grilled scallops and shrimp for the main course, and the bread pudding with rum sauce for dessert. Although the shrimp cocktail was made with the smaller shrimp, was still quite fresh and the sauce was tasty. The coleslaw was also quite fresh with good flavor. Also, the bread pudding was nice and warm. Had great texture and excellent flavor with the rum sauce. The only issue I found was that the scallops and shrimp seemed a bit over cooked. So they were a bit rubbery when you but into them.“

“The waffle house location is right on Highway 90 in Gulfport. It has a great view. They were not very busy. The food was of course excellent. I would recommend a pecan waffle or blueberry waffle. They are the bomb. Of course their hashbrowns are tasty as always, eggs were cooked well, and I chose their ham which was very good.The server just seemed to be a little bit out of it, but you know everybody has their days.And who doesn’t like waffle house, right? !“

“Found this place as I was in town briefly to use an atm. The food was tasty but beans were very cold lol I don't understand how that could be a thing. I didn't care for the green salsa. I couldn't try the chili sauce as im vegeterian.I also didn't understand mentioning how the tortilla was 10" but well you see the picture. It was 1.89 so can't complain tooooo much but very odd. Would try something else if ever in the area again. Beans were tasty.“

Connie maybe idk I’m sorry lol I got the veggie burger for the first time and it’s so good and it’s big. I’m currently eating it the next day and it’s still good. (Next day photos) Fries were good as well. I also had a strawberry margarita with tequila $13. This meal will be a go to of mine. I’m not a vegetarian but I’m not a fan of a lot of meats either so this was a perfect substitute.“
