There's a bar area as well as the tables. There is an outdoor patio. It would be an awesome experience for you, and I promise you, you will love it.“
“Went here for the first time and it was really good! We got the pimiento cheese fritters and they were pretty good. I got the catfish that is stuffed with crawfish and it tasted great. I also tried some of the salmon and it was cooked perfectly and was seasoned really good. The sides I tried weren’t awesome though. I got the green beans and I like green beans that are cooked all of the way through and they were crunchy.“

Taylor was fantastic, gave us excellent recommendations and accommodated us joyfully even though we came in for a full dinner about 30 minutes before closing. He brought us samples of their baked oysters (omg so good), gave us great recommendations, and arranged for a delicious bread pudding surprise for our birthday guests. Thank you Taylor! “Update 3/9/3024: The Mahi was really good! The spinach and tomatoes paired with it great along the potatoes.THE CORN GRITS WERE BOMB!!!! THE SQUASH AND ZUCCHINI WERE BOMB!!! The salmon seemed frozen, it was very thick/hard/dense but cooked okay. The red sauce barely had any flavor. The fried catfish was the blue plate meal, certain hours. Seemed like catfish nuggets… fried too hard. The asparagus was cooked good and the fried okra was decent but the to/go plate was tossed around so veggie juice drenched them. “This place is great! I really like chicken salad, so expectations where high for this visit, my first. They did not disappoint. From the young lady who took my order to the delicious "fancy Nancy" chicken salad BLT to the tomato bisque to the upbeat atmosphere- 5 star. A fresh, healthier option. “First encounter and it did not disappoint: good food and friendly, well-informed staff who gladly shared their recommendations and aligned our culinary expectations. Exceptionally clean (including restrooms). Vinegary “confetti”-style coleslaw was fresh and tasty plus the chowchow was delicious (albeit it was just a teaspoon). Toasted buns were a nice touch. Either the chowchow/extras displayed were quite popular (mostly sold out?) or the sales display was very minimally stocked.Take home: looking forward to our next visit!“

“This restaurant was worth 10 stars! We visited late and they brought the food back out to accommodate us. Everything on the menu was homemade and melt in your mouth AMAZING! We tried the pork chops, grilled chicken and ribs. All three of the meats were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth, juicy. The sweet potatoes were the best sweet potatoes we had ever had in our lives! The restaurant was family run and all of the ladies were beyond friendly and overly excited to hear about our travels coming from Kansas City. This is a must in the area and it was easy to access just off the highway.“
“We went to this restaurant on a whim looking for good food in the middle of the day. This was our first time trying it out. The food and atmosphere did not disappoint. We chose to dine outside because it is very upscale inside and we were a little under dressed. My son loved his food. He is a picky eater so that is a plus for us to find a place he likes. “I was surprised to find place that is down home cooking in a “fast food” style way. I called to place a to go order and she told me they have a drive thru and would get me outta there in 5 minutes. I said say no more! So far I’ve been twice and had the chopped steak and fish plate. “EVERYTHING! All 3 of us got different, perfectly cooked and artfully plated fish dishes and enjoyed a pan of cornbread and strawberry salad with feta and vinaigrette. Bread pudding was STUPENDOUS as was the Caramel Pie. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return at lunch with friends. Definitely going to become frequent diners and meet up with friends. Great price point for this establishment! A GREAT FIRST VISIT! 100/100“
“The seating was a little cramped on the long tables. Two oversized people can't sit back to back in the isles. Just won't work. Everything else about the restaurant is great! If you never had the bread pudding by the salad bar, try it! You'll thank me later.“
