“I lower the star for flying insects at the entrance, and for salty meat. I ordered hot sausage.Otherwise, the service and service are top-notch, very friendly guys! It would be nice to add a place where you can wash your hands”
“Enjoyed the cafe con leche, a must visit for those in Natchez on Sunday morning looking for a quality cuppa coffee. I will return for more of the same.I did return and it was equally as good; so, consistancy in quality! Even the servers staffed were the same. Great place for a bit of caffeine.”
“Great place for hibachi. We've been several times. The hoods are spotless, and the fish tanks are beautiful. Clearly well cared for inside and the staff are accommodating of food allergies and sensitivities. Best place for Japanese food in Natches and worth the drive from St. Francisville.Dietary restrictions: Flexible and easy to accommodate allergies with hibachi”
“We Googled “best places to eat in Natchez” and this restaurant popped up. We decided to give it a try and weren’t disappointed. We had the pork chops, catfish, and burger. All of us loved our food and the service was great! The waitress asked if we were going to be in town Sunday because they do a buffet. We decided to go back for the Sunday buffet. Everything was fantastic and probably the best food I ate in my life. The fried chicken and mashed were potatoes were definitely some of the best ones I ever had. My husband loved the stuffed catfish. He has ate a lot of catfish in his life and said this was the best he’s ever tasted. The price for the buffet was great! They’re super nice there and it’s a family run business. If you want to support local, please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. I’m already wanting a trip back to Natchez, so I can stop back there to eat.”
“We are there week before last. Our whole party of 4 loved the food. I don’t remember everyone else’s meals, but I had a huge bowl of deliciousness involving shrimp and penne noodles in a cream sauce that was SO GOOD! Portions were large! I like to eat, but I couldn’t finish it! Great food, reasonable price, good atmosphere, and good service. Next time we are in Natchez, we’ll go back!”
“I absolutely LOVE County Pie! I drive out of state just to come enjoy the food and atmosphere! Everything on their menu is delicious: hot sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, burgers, even my favorite version of fries: crinkle cut! The service is on the ball, hard working, diligent, polite, relatable. If ever in the Natchez area, you need to make County Pie a stop! The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food and service! A great meal without hurting you hard in the wallet! Cannot recommend them enough!”
“Stopped in while we were traveling through Mississippi. The host asked if we wanted a high top table, we said "sure", didn't realize that the bartender was also our waitress.I ordered a chef salad with a cup of broccoli cheese soup, I'd love to show you the cup of soup but it never came! Even after saying something.Husband ordered catfish with a coleslaw with an upcharge for his salad. The two pieces of catfish were very big and ended up bringing one home. The coleslaw was good. The salad is a salad ..”
“Edit 2024: New owners, and still awesome. The hotel... not good at all. Going to give them one more try to see if they get it together, but the restaurant is still on point.2018 review - We didn't stay at the main house; instead, we just stopped in for brunch at the Castle Restaurant behind the house. I had my doubts all the way until I swung open the massive, wooden door, and was greeted by a wonderful Hostess, a grand fireplace right in the entrance, and the smell of bacon frying. For whatever reason, the hostess, servers, and other patrons were speaking in almost a whisper. I'm not certain if this is typical of this place or perhaps just a fluke that morning, but my entire table disregarded that "custom", and spoke in a respectfully audible tone. The place had an awesome feel about it (speaking of the upstairs); both unequivocally aged, and pleasantly sophisticated. The mimosas were outstanding, and the food was good. Really good!Having brunch here gave me that feeling that I used to get when I was a kid and would travel with my parents and stay in very old bed and breakfasts set in old houses and old schools, and always with large fireplaces as the centerpieces. We intend to revisit this restaurant again this year.”
“This is a great place to eat and a must on your visit to Natchez. All the food is absolutely great! The atmosphere is very chill and has lots of cool things to look at. The staff is always super nice and a delight to talk to. Definitely put this place on your must do list for Natchez you'll be glad you did!”
“The Restaurant 1818 is a wonderful choice for anyone in Natchez and is especially convenient for guests at Monmouth Home. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated with period furnishings. The atmosphere is great and the food is top notch. The service staff are all first class, very friendly and helpful. The cocktails are excellent and the small lounge to the rear of the restaurant is really nice.Vegetarian options: Some non-meat and seafood dishesDietary restrictions: Staff will try to assist with restrictions you make them aware ofParking: Free lot in frontKid-friendliness: More an adult environmentWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible”
“While I happened to be in the mood for lighter fare today (the Czech pilsner and wheat), I did get the opportunity to sample the doppelbock and quad and felt an obligation to post this review. As a lover of authentic German and Belgian style beers who has tried many of these beers games breweries across Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Denver in particular and a few others around the world, these are hands down the best German/Belgian beers I've had outside of German and Belgian breweries. In Mississippi of all places. Highly recommend you try this place if you share my love of these varieties of beer.”
“I always order the shrimp and steak soft tacos. I add queso, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream and cilantro. The shrimp and beef are cooked with onions and red peppers so it is very flavorful. I highly recommend this establishment.”
“Catfish poboy was the best... My crew had the big burger, over the top! Ate so fast forgot to get a picture ? the prices are very reasonable... Portion sizes are phenomenal, normally I don't eat out, but I'm going back! MIDTOWN GRILL Y'ALL ROCK!”
“EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS RESTURANT IS ABSOLUTLEY MIND BLOWING. The chicken, fish, and seafood menu items have never disappointed me and i went there at least twice a week when i lived in Mississippi. Of all things that I missed about that short period, This place is at the top of that list.”
“I stopped here after cycling from Canada and finishing the Natchez Trace Parkway.I got the crawfish etouffee. My first time having something like that, and it didn't disappoint. Not sure who the server was, but she was wonderful and very attentive.I really enjoyed my experience here.”
