“Called in at 3.30pm on our way through to Hattiesburg. Both young ladies were warm and welcoming and the coffee smelt delicious. The iced Chai Latte with maple syrup was very good. Others in our group had espresso, mocha and an Americano, all excellent. The homemade blueberry muffin and cherry danish, warmed for us, were also great. Would happily enjoy coffee and or lunch here again and highly recommend this business.”

“While I love and recommend La Fuente, I must say I’m very disappointed in the quality of the food here lately. The last few times I’ve eaten there the main dishes have been very greasy. So greasy that I got tacos and the hard shells were soggy before i could finish them. Today I had taco salad and had more grease than meat!!! I tried to put some cheese dip in it to thicken it up but the grease over powered the dip. The menu said a salad with a crispy tortilla bowl. The bowl was so soggy I couldn’t even cut it with a fork: They need somebody to do quality control in the kitchen before they send their food out!!!”

“I was fortunate to dine here on June 28, 2024, to celebrate the birthday of an a 86-year-old friend. There were more than 20 people at the table but only 2 servers for the entire Friday evening crowd. The lady who took care of us was exceptional; there is no other word to describe her: she was truly exceptional. She took everyone's orders, worked as quickly as she could while still attending to other numerous guests. Due to the large order, she indicated it might take a little longer to prepare. That was not a problem since it allowed the rest of us to socialize and enjoy each other's company. Once served, the food was hot, tasty, and generous in portions. I ordered the crab cakes; there were 4 generous-sized cakes along with a portion of French fries, hush puppies, and Cole slaw. I ordered 2 baked potatoes and 1 whole catfish on the side. My wife and I ate the potatoes, she ate the catfish, and I took the remaining food home. Seeing that the crab cakes looked so delicious, I ordered 2 more to take home. I was very impressed with the service, the food, the professional staff, and interior seating. No, this is NOT a large restaurant and parking was on a dirt/gravel lot--but that was not a problem. The price for the meal was very reasonable. I was able to get an additional serving of cocktail and tartar sauces for me to take home. Their flavor was just as tasty as were the crab cakes and French fries. I can't wait to go back.”

“The only McDonald's I have ever been to that the burger actually looked like the advertisement. The burger was larger than the bun and not hidden in the bread. Total five stars with the food. The service, however, not as good. We ordered a Big Mac, a Quarter Pounder and two large fries. The girl taking our order repeated it back to us and it was right. However, when we pick up our bag and look inside there was only one large order of fries. We told the girl that we ordered two large fries. She looked at the receipt and with an attitude said, "Well, you only paid for one." She was right. We had only been charged for one. So the girl taking our order messed up and the girl giving us our order cops an attitude. How is this okay?”

“We placed a Togo order around 5:45 and were told our order would be ready at 6:20. We got there and they were SUPER BUSY. So we knew our ready would not be ready on time, but it was understandable! Our order was announced ready at 7:15! Well unfortunately was not taken correctly and one of our items was messed up. They quickly responded and told the kitchen to make our missing item! Well there were some issues with the kitchen and the OWNER went back in to the kitchen and remade the entire order. WOW, that is true customer service. She also gave us a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, which they were so busy so we were not upset with them. What a great place who cares about their customers! We can’t wait to come back! 100 stars for the owner! Everyone was SO NICE!”
