El Sombrero of Vicksburg is a fancy Mexican restaurant with amazing decor and great workmanship. The food is awesome, with generous portions that are always enough for leftovers. The chip and salsa are excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The bartender is nice and quick to bring out orders. The menu offers a variety of options, including enchiladas verdes and beef and chicken nachos. While there may be occasional miscommunications, the service is generally decent. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, with a cool exterior and plenty of seating inside. Note that smoking is allowed inside, which may be a consideration for some visitors. Overall, El Sombrero is a great value with good food and service.
