“Fantastic whisky menu and a friendly atmosphere“

“My friend was in town and we decided to try this place out! From the moment we walked through the door, we loved the ambiance and felt welcomed by staff. We went in at about 5:45pm and there were a handful of other patrons, but plenty of barstools available for seating. We were given menus immediately and were not rushed to order. I didn't catch our bartender's name, but they were very kind and had some super cool glasses! We each ordered a cocktail and then we ordered three small plates--croquettas (croquettes), ensalada tomate (marinated tomato/onion/olive salad), and the pan con tomate (toast with tomato). The croquettas were our favorite! My friend had the Little Birdy cocktail which was fruity and refreshing. I can't find the name of the one I ordered on their menu online but it had Sevilla orange gin, lemon and a few other ingredients. It was equally delicious and refreshing and I loved the presentation of the cocktails. Our subtotal was $35, which we felt was fair for the drinks and food we ordered. It was $10 per cocktail and a total of $15 for the three pintxos. I will definitely return to Bar Plata soon and would recommend it to Missoula residents and visitors!
Vegetarian options: Some of the small plates are vegetarian and I believe the sandwich (bocadillo) may be as well but I would always recommend confirming with your bartender!
Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten and dairy free options! I did not ask about their procedures for allergies or cross contamination so definitely check with staff before ordering!“

“Pay attention or you might miss it! It says CB’s Dino Bar on the outside. But step inside and enjoy the atmosphere! The walls are covered with lots of interesting items. You can tell this bar has a lot of history. Order drinks at the bar and then food in the back. We were there on a Friday morning and the person behind the bar that day made the BEST Bloody Mary I’ve ever had.“

“The staff are amazing and very attentive! I told Aurora I wanted to try a new drink and she made me the best drink I've ever had! The other customers were friendly and nice! The breakfast I ordered was huge and delicious!! I will definitely be going back!!

“This is an awesome place to stop for unique gifts or pick up sometime fun for a really good price. Usually with touristy places like this they charge out the nose, but the prices here are surprisingly affordable. We love stopping in whenever we pass through the area“

“Very busy Friday night, we sat on patio service was very slow- food was served an hour later. Obvious the waiter was in the weeds and he apologized. Food was not hot or well prepared. Too hungry to send it back. Maybe give it a try another night“

“We had a family get together 15 people this past Sunday and they helped make sure we could be seated together. Our server, Taylor, couldn’t have been more attentive and did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely amazing! The beef bites might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Tater tots are delicious and the portions are insane. Never an empty glass which with our family is key :-). “What a sweet bartender we had! One of the managers from the earlier shift made muffins for everyone and we were lucky enough to be included! Drinks are delish and the atmosphere is fun. We were able to experience the traditional "21" right of passage fire shot ! Good stuff ☆“

“Love this place, strong drinks and reasonably priced middle shelf whiskey. My favorite dive, the real neon red lighting always makes me feel at home. The vibe definitely changes constantly but it's always fun to stop in. It's just as good with a couple of regulars chatting at the bar or standing room only on a Friday night. Oh, and you can get food until midnight if the Whiz Kid is open.“

“5$ cover but told it could be as much as 15$. We came on a Saturday with a live DJ. We are from out of town and told this was the only “club” for dancing. First bar you walk up to only had one server and took a while for drinks did not know about the other bars around the corner. It was busy, music was great and the bass was excellent. Lots of fun with a group of girls.“

“I’m from Helena and work a lot in Missoula, it’s one of my go to spots!But one thing I absolutely love is the cook! I believe his name is lee but every-time I’m in there he has the most upbeat attitude and literally made my whole day the last time I was in there, that dude was swamped but still just the sweetest up beat dude I’ve came across in the service! highly recommend because of him and the the bartenders are great to cat with too!!“

“This place has such a cool speakeasy vibe! Really good, quality alcohol and delicious ingredients. My husband had the new fashioned, and I had the cowboy lullaby. Highly recommend the cowboy lullaby is you like chamomile, and a light taste of citrus and honey!!!“
