I ordered the flounder plate with 2 sides and let me tell you, they over delivered. Food was hot, fresh, cooked to perfection. Sides were perfect as well. “We cannot stop thinking about Carnie’s! Carnie’s did not disappoint! They have so many different options that it’s hard to choose. I had the funnel cake with strawberries and whipped cream. My bf had the fried honeybun with ice cream. Everything was made fresh while we waited. He is still talking about that honeybun so we will definitely be back! Not only do they serve great treats, the owners are friendly and provide excellent customer service. I got to hear a little bit of the story behind Carnie’s and it made me want to support them even more! I will be telling everyone I know about Carnie’s. As my bf keeps saying…This place should be packed!”

“I know theres some controversy online, but I wanted to share my 1st experience there. My boyfriend and I went for the 1st time and felt nothing but warm and welcome. I am Armenian with both my parents being immigrants. Not one single person we spoke to was rude, disrespectful or said anything inappropriate while we were there. The environment was fun and relaxed. I didnt get any sense of hostility or this so called "racist" behavior that someone recently posted. The people I met were fun, happy, excited to see new faces and just were there to have a relaxed time and forget life for a while. We cant wait to go back! Oh and the peach tea was divine!!”

“Some people travel for beaches. Some travel for mountains. Me? Apparently, I’m willing to cross three galaxies, dodge an asteroid belt, slingshot around Jupiter, and re-enter Earth’s atmosphere for a Cajun Filet Biscuit Combo from Bojangles in Ayden, North Carolina.
And you know what?
WORTH. EVERY. LIGHT-YEAR.
That Cajun biscuit arrived hot, buttery, spicy, crispy, and looking like it knew exactly why I had traveled 400 million miles to get there. One bite and suddenly the universe made sense.
Then came the fries—hot, seasoned, and disappearing at an alarming rate. I’m pretty sure there was a gravitational anomaly inside the box because they vanished before I could scientifically determine where they went.
And the large sweet tea? That wasn’t a beverage. That was Southern rocket fuel. Cold, sweet, refreshing, and large enough to keep the spacecraft operational all the way back to Eastern North Carolina.
By the time I finished, I was sitting there staring peacefully into the distance like I had just discovered the meaning of life:
Cajun biscuit. Fries. Sweet tea. Repeat.
If NASA ever establishes a colony on Mars, somebody better put a Bojangles beside the launchpad.
Special appreciation to the Ayden crew for keeping the biscuits hot, the fries seasoned, the tea cold, and hungry travelers properly fueled. You’re doing important work down here on Planet Earth.”

“No 1 Chinese Restaurant is an absolute steal when it comes to quality and price! When it's just the two of us, we don't hesitate to drop $20 to $30, and if we're thinking about leftovers for the next day, we might even splurge a bit more. Trust me, it's worth every cent.

I can't say for sure if they're under the same ownership as the one in Winterville, but what I can tell you is that they've got their act together. We're willing to go the extra mile, literally, as it takes us about 15-20 minutes out of our way just to order from here!

Their teriyaki chicken? Out of this world. It's officially crowned the champion among our top three favorites for teriyaki. Plus, the service is lightning-fast, which makes the drive even more worth it. No 1 Chinese Restaurant is definitely one of the top three Chinese spots in Pitt County that you shouldn't miss out on. “This location seems to be improving, a few months ago I said never again after a 15min wait in drive thru for a frappe that I wound up going inside to get. Today’s experience was much better and the staff seemed to be more focused and attentive than in previous visits.”

Marley, I believe that was her name; was just on point with service. From bringing our drinks, taking our orders, clearing our table from the empty plates we kept accumulating and to ordering more entrées that we wanted to try. The staff was also very great in bringing our dishes. Still though, the food is incredibly delicious!”
