“I came for my first time today I don’t live in Ayden but I happened to be in town and decided to give it a try I ordered the combination plate of tilapia and shrimp with green beans and French fries but when I got home I only had the green beans :( besides that it was very delicious! And I would love to try it again sometime in the future when I visit and recommend this place if you are looking for something yummy and different☺.”

“I know theres some controversy online, but I wanted to share my 1st experience there. My boyfriend and I went for the 1st time and felt nothing but warm and welcome. I am Armenian with both my parents being immigrants. Not one single person we spoke to was rude, disrespectful or said anything inappropriate while we were there. The environment was fun and relaxed. I didnt get any sense of hostility or this so called "racist" behavior that someone recently posted. The people I met were fun, happy, excited to see new faces and just were there to have a relaxed time and forget life for a while. We cant wait to go back! Oh and the peach tea was divine!!”

“No 1 Chinese Restaurant is an absolute steal when it comes to quality and price! When it's just the two of us, we don't hesitate to drop $20 to $30, and if we're thinking about leftovers for the next day, we might even splurge a bit more. Trust me, it's worth every cent.

I can't say for sure if they're under the same ownership as the one in Winterville, but what I can tell you is that they've got their act together. We're willing to go the extra mile, literally, as it takes us about 15-20 minutes out of our way just to order from here!

Their teriyaki chicken? Out of this world. It's officially crowned the champion among our top three favorites for teriyaki. Plus, the service is lightning-fast, which makes the drive even more worth it. No 1 Chinese Restaurant is definitely one of the top three Chinese spots in Pitt County that you shouldn't miss out on. “This location seems to be improving, a few months ago I said never again after a 15min wait in drive thru for a frappe that I wound up going inside to get. Today’s experience was much better and the staff seemed to be more focused and attentive than in previous visits.”

“Hubby wanted Blooming Onion; but we had trepidation at eating at this location based on prior experiences (before current proprietor). We were VERY pleasantly surprised. We had minimal wait even though host said they had been “crazy busy” and expected more large groups shortly. Pressley, our waitress, was prompt, professional, communicated well, was attentive (without attitude) when I asked to talk to manager before ordering (due to food allergies) as well as throughout our meal and getting us out, even offering to-go beverages. Alyssa, the manager on duty was awesome discussing food preparation and easily reassured me, as well as supervised/assisted in kitchen. We initially saw her cleaning dining area, not knowing that she was manager, as entire staff was working as team and well oiled machine to assure a really clean dining area, as well as restrooms. My hubby got his Blooming Onion and 1/2 rack smoked ribs and could not stop with glowing praise for his meal. I had Alice Springs Chicken that was even better than I had at one of my favorite Outback locations last week for our anniversary! Overall, restaurant sound was quiet enough for us to talk to each other easily, despite large family groups & TVs in bar. Staff’s demeanor was calm and upbeat making dining experience quite pleasurable. Never expected to be writing this 5star review today; So, keep up the good job manager Alyssa!”

“First time trying and it was Fabulous! The people there are so cheerful and helpful and that Crazy Good burger was probably the best I ever had! I did get it without the sauce but I tasted the sauce and it was good I just rather have ketchup and mustard. Definitely going back!”

“First time coming here for our best friend's birthday celebration. And omg! The sushi was absolutely amazing and very decent price for an all-you-can-eat. Marley, I believe that was her name; was just on point with service. From bringing our drinks, taking our orders, clearing our table from the empty plates we kept accumulating and to ordering more entrées that we wanted to try. The staff was also very great in bringing our dishes. Still though, the food is incredibly delicious!”
