“This was my first visit and soon as I walked in I got seated and received fast service. My waiter was friendly and got our drinks and food out pretty fast & hot. Highly recommendedParking: Easy parking. Enough for everyone.”

“Great little spot for that old country feel. I've only lived in the area a couple of years, but we have come to enjoy this little spot. Always fresh, great attitudes, good food and the atmosphere just makes it better. Stop in and get you a foot long or a good little hamburger. Also they occasionally have a vegetable soup which hits the spot on cool days.The only downfall is pulling off the road. Watch out for the potholes!”

“Very cool place to eat! The staff was friendly. We were greeted by three employees with smiles. The restaurant was very nice and unique. We got to pick our own table and everything looked clean. We ordered the Greek pizza, calzone, chicken tenders tossed in wing sauce, bacon and cheese fries, and some wings. The best food to me was the chicken tenders tossed in wing sauce. It was amazing. I would suggest that the bacon cheese fries have more cheese on it, and melted over more of the fries. An awesome touch would be to add some chili to the fries as well. The waitress was prompt with the food and made sure we had enough plates to share. It was a nice experience. It was a little pricey but worth it. The Greek pizza we ordered was the small size, but was plenty for us to share. I would definitely come back here to try other items on the menu. ? ?Be blessed!!!”

“This place is soooo good! The best "Chunamelt" (Tuna salad) I have ever had. The house was very cute and cozy. I wanted to try so many things so I will be stopping here every time I pass by. Great find.”

“Really good food! We met friends half way between our house and Raleigh at this place.... My husband had the fried shrimp and french fries. He said it was very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend and I shared the Rangoon, eggrolls, onion rings, and grilled shrimp and everything was awesome.. her husband had the catfish and french fries and it was a very good serving size and he said it was very good!!!! The owners were very accommodating, letting us sit and chat for over an hour!!! if it was closer we would definitely go back because I would really want to try their Boils!!!! Resource several people get them, and they were looking and smelling very good!!!!”

“A wonderful hometown place to get your country breakfast! Beautiful employees inside and out. Amazing customers also. Worth every penny or quarter I spent. I push my wheel chair 7/10 of a mile almost every other day to get a breakfast there!”

“I really love the cheese biscuits! They are the best in town!! The only reason I gave the food 4 ? instead of 5 is because they deep fry the bacon. Which I am not a fan of. Other than that it is really great!”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We were lucky enough to dine at Chef Vivian Howard’s chef table. The entire experience was magical and the best overall dining experience we’ve ever had. The dishes were all unique and fabulously executed. Her passion for what she does is infectious during the time with her. Thank you for such a wonderful time.”

“Post-shopping visit with my mom. She'd heard about the food here, and I was craving a hot dog (my favorite West Kinston spot is closed for the holidays). I got a Queen Street (yummy) and mom just had a regular. She's a tough critic, but she loved it and made sure we left a good review!! Now we have a new favorite spot.”

“First time we had ever gone. We meet family and friends from out of town there to catch up. It was a Thursday night so not too busy. We were able to order pizza from across the street and they delivered it to our table. Mother Earth’s Tap Room has QR codes at the table to see their options. We decided to order a growler to share. We were told we could not drink it there. We got it anyway and a full pour of Long haired freaky people an Irish red ale. I’m not a big beer drinker but I did like it. I have tried many of their other beers and my husband enjoys their whiskey. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.”

“Great atmosphere, staff are friendly too. Good food as well. I meet a friend from Rocky Mount there for lunch every other week. We enjoy the comfort to sit and talk without being lead to believe we are in the way by staying too long. The owner is down to earth and very sociable.”
