“I have Blue Moon Bistro as one of the better restaurants in Beaufort/morehead area...we have been there several times...I think they have cut back on the cocktails though...I just had the $16 fig infused old fashion and the drink barely covered the square ice cube...2 sips and it was over. I didn't bother with a second and usually I do🤔 that has not been an issue before, so I can only assume the 2 oz of Old Forester 1870 is now only one oz...this is the first time I was disappointed in the cocktails...the dinner was excellent but the cocktail pour was not.....maybe the goal was for one to pay $32 for two of the same.???”

“My husband wanted to try Fried Soft Shell Crab and while we were in Beaufort NC we saw that Blackbeard’s had it on the menu. He ordered the build your own combo with the shrimp. He thought it was phenomenal and said the shrimp was the best he has had. I tried a cup of the Chowder and the Bisque. Both were really good but the chowder was my favorite. Carol our waitress was amazing, we were asking her about the soft shell crab and she gave us some history on the place. If you are in the area, make sure to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Our group met in the private room, which was spacious and beautiful. We were all able to hear each other (important in a writer's group), and our server did an amazing job of handling food, drink, and bills for about 20 people. Food was great (as were cocktails), and we plan to return.”

Always a good time and the local folks make it fun with their welcoming and friendly smiles and handshakes. I played an Open Mic there last year and hope to play there one day. “4.5 stars Came here on Monday for lunch and there was no wait in the restaurant. My dad got the club and I got the squash soup ($8). The soup wasn't quite wasn't what I was expecting as it came in a martini glass (guess I should've gone with the blue corn pancakes). It was very warm temperature-wise and the local honey added some sweetness to it. Since we were celebrating my birthday, they brought out a small chocolate cake with berries. It had a harder outer crust of chocolate and was delicious. The views were great and you could find some reasonably priced items on the menu.”

“If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.”

“No Name Pizza in Beautiful Beaufort NC is the absolute best place to eat. Family friendly, kid friendly, excellent food and service. You will get large portions, so if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. They have the best pizzas and sandwiches, their salads are fantastic, and the Greek menu is totally authentic. You will not be disappointed if you come here to eat, and with the waterfront a couple of blocks away, you can easily make a day of it in Beaufort”

“Historic Coffee Grounds knows how to make delicious coffee. They have some of the best, fresh ground hot coffee varieties and make some delicious cold brew concoctions as well. I love the toffee crunch and popcorn cold brews. Favorite place to grab a cup of coffee in Beaufort .”

“A local family owned business... Favorites are Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp. All of the shrimp dishes are very good and seem to be made with fresh local shrimp. Their white rice is perfect - I prefer it to the fried rice. Really good Chinese-American restaurant.”

“This restaurant has been here several years and I never had a desire to stop in, probably due to a really poor experience at different Taco Bell location. I took a chance and stopped by recently and was very pleasantly surprised, the facility was very clean, staff was friendly, the meal was pretty good for a chain restaurant and the price was reasonable. Been back a couple more times since with the same experiences and they haven't made a mistake on my order yet. It may not be "authentic" mexican, but for what it is, this location has made me a fan again.”
