“What a cool spot! The service is excellent and the food was fresh and tasty. We're not huge fans of fried food so we wish there was an option for blackened or grilled on the flounder. They have a nice selection of IPAs and the place is straight up like a saloon!“
“The Beaufort Grocery is my favorite restaurant in Beaufort, NC. I visit Beaufort for work and always eat at this wonderful restaurant. I also bring back to Tampa the Gouda cheese spread. I start with the cheese spread and see what specials they have. Last time I stuck with the Pan-Seared Duck Breast but you can't go wrong with anything they serve. They have a tiny bar but will make you anything you want. Service is fantastic! Wish I could visit for brunch!“
“We had the best time! Will was our server and his recommendations were on point and did not disappoint in the slightest. The food was so good, but the service truly set it apart from other places in the area.Dietary restrictions: We had someone in our party with an extreme shellfish allergy and they were super accommodating.“
“We had an amazing dinner here! The menu is robust with many options to choose from. The service was quick and attentive. The seafood bisque is a must-have--super creamy with tons of lump seafood in it. Other tables had salads that looked huge and delicious, I'd like to try one next time! As my husband said, "this is the best food we've had at a restaurant down here!"“
“We loved Blackbeard! The food was delicious. The Oysters Rockefeller and Parmesan crusted oysters appetizers were great for sharing and very tasty. The fried shrimp and scallops were a nice size, not overly breaded, crispy, and delicious. The ahi tuna was absolutely incredible. If it is on special, I recommend ordering it. The seafood bisque is creamy, rich, and flavorful. Not pictured is the ribeye. It was seasoned, cooked, and seared perfect. A special shout out to Carol, our waitress for the fantastic service. She was very friendly offering great suggestions with the menu, our food was served hot, and our drinks were never empty.“
“I love the food at Ribeyes. The waitresses are great. The chef is superb. The atmosphere is good. I liked the food so much that I wanted to meet the chef and thank him personally. He will come to our table when we eat there and check to make sure everything is okay. New to Ribeyes and this means a lot to me and my family. I always want to give praise when praise is deserved. Good job, Ribeyes!“
“We first went to the Dock house where we waited for ten minutes and nobody even greeted us. We went to Finz where we had great service! Hostess greeted us and we were seated right away. The food and our waitress was great! We will definitely be back“
“My second visit to the restaurant with the new chef. As it was Easter Sunday evening, I still haven't seen a full new menu (first visit was during Restaurant Week), but dinner was quite good and the service excellent. I love the restaurant's wine list, so I'm hoping that I enjoy the 'new' menu when I get back for it.“
“What a great experience we had. First and foremost is the gorgeous view of the water. You feel like you're in a boat because you're so close. Dining and watching the ducks diving was awesome. We arrived at around 5pm on a Friday in March without a reservation and we were lucky enough to get a window table. I'm not sure if that's always the case, so call ahead if the view is important to you. I think this would be a great place to go on a date. The menu is fairly small. However, my husband and I both easily found a couple of options we were happy with. I had the ahi tuna tacos and he had the jerk chicken and wedge salad. When I tell you everything was delicious, I mean amazing. Every single aspect of each dish was spot on and well thought out. Our server, Gypsy, was lovely too. Just the right amount of friendly and very professional. We would like to return to Beaufort just to dine here again and have the same meal!We ordered the strawberry bread pudding to share and it was so very delicious. It was so big that we couldn't quite finish it unfortunately. The bread pudding has fresh tasting strawberries throughout, a strawberry frosting (cream cheese perhaps?), plus whipped cream. So good. The location is right at the beginning of Front Street at number 300, so it's easy to find. I don't usually gush so much over a restaurant, but when it's so good, plus reasonably priced as this one is, I like to spread the joy.“
“We were a bit hesitant when we saw the limited lunch menu available on the covered porch as we were there at 2. But I would go back today and order the exact same thing! The Jamaican wings had the best flavor and were crispy. Their ranch and blue cheese was thick and on point and must be homemade. The grilled pimento cheese w bacon was so rich and creamy on delicious nutty bread. For my side I had the cucumber salad which had onions and peppers in a vinaigrette and was perfect to cut the richness of the pimento cheese. It was such a good combination! I did not get a picture of the shrimp tacos my friend had but she said they were delicious too.“
“This was by far one of my favorite dining experiences. I recommend making a reservation beforehand because of the size of the restaurant. Service was amazing! Very friendly host and hostess, and our server, PJ, was so nice, very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations for food and beverages. I recommend the cheese plate and duck wings. The petite filet was cooked to perfection, and the desert sampler we ordered was so pretty I almost did not want to eat it! We will definitely be coming back here again!Parking: We parked over by the backstreet pub, there is a small parking lot across from the restaurant but I was not sure if it was reserved for another business nearby. Not a very far walk from any of the paid parking spaces nearby.“
