“I was traveling this past weekend and decided to stop in this little coffee shop and grab a coffee for my trip back home! One of the BEST decisions I have made! The service was impeccable and I even met one of the owner’s, Rod! He was very friendly and polite, almost like seeing an old friend! The coffee is unmatched and is happiness in a cup! You can’t beat the service and can’t get this type of service at large chain coffee shops! If you’re ever near Elkin NC..get you some of this coffee! It’s the best! Hmmm…wonder if I could order some?!”

“Dropped by in the afternoon and made a reservation. Owner promised us a certain seat. Someone else was there and not close to finishing. Owner found us a better solution. Ordered. Waitress came back to say that it would take a while. Like many, we had tickets at the Reeves at a certain time. Owner came over. Asked what we were having and said he would make it happen. And he did. Food was very good, beverage was very good, service from waitress and owner was exceptional. Support this place! Visit was on Dec. 2, 2023.”

“Really nice interior, tastefully decorated for the Christmas season, and clean.
Only annoyance, I always order my sandwich w pickles on the side. For the first time, I was going to be charged for the “container” to put my pickles in. Random nonsense that has never happened before. The order taker said that each owner operator decides those policies…😑. Kind of a sour note on an otherwise perfect experience.”

“From someone who visits multiple times a week. This is the perfect cozy spot to chill while you sip on your favorite coffee with a friend or alone. They roast their beans in house which means you can also grab a bag of your favorite blend to brew at home or the office. You can’t go wrong with the Promise Land blend. I am also a big fan of their ceremonial Matcha when I’m looking for a non coffee beverage. When you stop by be sure to pick up a pastry my go to favorites are their bagels and pop tarts. The owners are the sweetest. They are extremely knowledgeable about coffee, the origins of their wide variety of beans, and flavor compositions of various proprietary blends. The staff is incredibly kind and visiting is always an uplifting experience.”

“Love this little gem of a sandwich shop we discovered on our most recent vacation to Elkin/Traphill. Delicious sandwiches (the Tuscan chicken wrap is one I will crave!!) and cute outdoor seating area where our children could play while we weren't actively eating. Owner was extremely kind and friendly. We cannot wait to eat here on our next visit to town.”

“Absolutely fantastic birria tacos — juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, cheesy, didn’t fall apart when dipping them, the salsa was delicious and spicy. I’ve been to Jalisco in Mexico and used to live in Texas down the street from a great birria truck and these were truly up there with the best! I’ll be back ASAP!!!”
