“We went twice during our stay here. The food & service are excellent! The staff goes above and beyond . We were staying down the street at a condo unit on vacation from NH. To our complete shock our car was towed right out of the condos parking space while we were sleeping! Come to find out later on that it was due to the owner giving us last years expired parking pass to hang. While we were trying to figure out what to do we went into Kate's pancake house to eat and ask the wait staff where we could find a taxi to get a ride to collect our vehicle. This is when they all jumped in to look up numbers and help us in any way they could. Then Stehanie our waitress offered to " just drive us" after her shift. She said she felt so bad for us and just wanted to help. She drove us to Willmington to get our vehicle . The staff looked up phone numbers for us, made sure we were taken care of and even drove us! This place is a true example of southern hospitality ! Steph if you see this review..just know what a blessing you are! I hope all you give comes back to you 10 fold. To help us like you did and expect nothing in return ..well that speaks volumes about who you are.Thank you !“
“Great place that I wouldn’t hesitate to visit the next time I’m in CB. Attentive staff, good portions, good cost. I can imagine this place fills up quick in the summer time since it’s just a quick walk from the beach. Definitely worth a visit if you’re hungry!“
“Great place to get some good food! We had the seafood roll with loaded tater tots, penne Rachelle with shrimp, and the crab dip (must try!). I also had a drink where you can pay to keep the cup but opted out of that. It was a lot of food and delicious! We sat next to the aquarium and we got to see Dory and Nemo.The service could have been a little better as they were not that busy while we were there. We had to ask for our check and the waitress only checked on us once. There is plenty of parking and no need to pay.Atmosphere was good. There are plenty of tvs and a bar where you can watch game or two. Overall a good experience!“
“Solid 4 out of 5 stars. We enjoyed the lobster roll which was $20.99 and it was worth the money. Friendly staff, and definitely a locals place for sure. Had to pay for parking but overall quite happy with my decision to eat here.On a funny note, there is a sign that says “friends don’t let friends eat imported seafood” and on the chalkboard it said the crab was from Canada. (See pics) haha!Would return“
“Food is tasty, but more than that the atmosphere is super laid back and beachy! There is a big open space that kiddos enjoy but doubles for live music and entertainment. Been going here for years and still a huge fanParking: It is in a beach town so paid parking is what’s available unfortunately!“
“If you're in Wilmington, and you love donuts, you need to stop in. Or maybe you love great coffee? Yes, stop in. Bonus if you love both! So many to try! I had the cinnabomb with a large cappuccino! Pretty great start to the day, ignoring calories. Seriously, this place is great. I imagine you need to stop in early, before they sellout. We got there about 8:30 am - that worked. They did have a steady stream of customers!!!“
“Went in during the day on a Friday with a friend and was greeted by awesome servers!! We had the margarita and shark attack cocktails with some house chips and beer cheese w/a side of fries. Everything was wonderful! We were very pleased!! Inside was super nice, clean, and comfy! Can't wait to go back for a full-on meal!“
“Took a bit of time to get through to them on the phone, but well worth the effort.Directions provided were easy to follow, and everything was hop out of the pot fresh.Ordered enough for 3, and we ate it all, no leftovers!Great local seafood in an easy, self-cook at home style.I even brought home my cooking bucket :)“
