“My only problem with this place was the stairs. For folks like me, handicapped, it meant climbing the stairs or dining outside on a cool evening. I don't remember seeing any patio heaters either. Put in a small elevator, one or two passengers, for those of us in need. That said, the food was fabulous as was the service. A very beachy experience.“
“We are not local to this area and we had a friend reccomended this establishment for lunch. The restaurant was clean, as were the restrooms. There was plenty of seating inside and out which was nice because it was a beautiful day and we sat outside at a picnic table, but there is a nice covered seating area upstairs which was a little too shady for us since it was a little cool the day we were there. The food options were plentiful without being overwhelming. I got the pulled pork sandwich with crispy fries and my friend got the flounder sandwich with coleslaw. The flounder was well cooked with a nice thin breading with shredded lettuce and a tomato slice along with homemade coleslaw which was very good. My pulled pork sandwich was very nice with the same homemade coleslaw. The pork was very tasty and had a nice little heat kick to it which was very pleasant. I am sensitive to spicy foods but this was a nice bit of spice. The crispy fries were delicious, they were exceptionally crispy but maybe a tad bit too salty, but it didn't stop me from munching down every last one!! The portions aren't huge but very satisfying and didn't leave me feeling stuffed and bloated. Overall a great little place. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or reccomended.Parking: Seemed to be ample parking on a Monday around 4:00 in March-so off season.“
“So I am reading all these reviews about the high prices—it’s lobster for heavens sake!! Anyway, the lobster grilled cheese and crab soup are my go to every time I’m here. And, yes, I eat a $42 lunch to splurge because it is worth it as a treat! And there is a ton of lobster in it! There are tons of cheaper options such as yummy quiche and crab soup for $12 or any sandwich you want if you want to pay less. The women who work here are amazing and I love the owner!!! So skip the lobster roll if you want but go to Archibald’s Deli!!! The chess pie is delicious, too!“
“Best steak and eggs around! service is always great, especially if your waitress is Jennifer simmons. Very good waitresses. they all are very good. Food comes out fast and hot. steak is off the chain!!! cooked just right every time. Hats off to the cook. Must stop in and try it out. God bless you all.“
“You'll find this great little deli on the section of Stone Chimney that connects highways 17 and 211 in Supply. This area of Brunswick County is a virtual food desert, so I'm super grateful for this locally owned and operated establishment serving up tasty sandwiches and salads with smiles. This is a no-frills deli in the best type of way. You order at the counter, then grab your drinks from the cooler, or the soda fountain. Fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea are also available. Once your order is ready, they'll call your name for pickup at the counter, then you can either take it to go, or sit in one of the eclectic seating areas - tables and chairs of all shapes and sizes. Be sure to save your order ticket. That's how you'll pay at the register when you leave. You can also pick up some extra chips or treats there too. The food is great. Hard to go wrong with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They also offer an incredible selection of salads. I can vouch for the tuna and chicken salad, and I look forward to trying something different on my next visit. My dining companions raved about the Bell Swamp - maple turkey and white American cheese on a croissant with lettuce, deli oil and cranberry mayo. Bottom line, the Lockwood Folly Marketplace is a worthwhile stop if you're in the area and want to enjoy lunch in a relaxed, casual setting. It's also a great spot for a meeting or an impromptu catch-up with friends.“
“Excellent. The big burger combo all the way is great. The fried bologna sandwich awesome. Friendly service, clean and organized eating area. We enjoy it everytime. For those few who complained, maybe you're not used to good burgers, maybe you should stick with McCardboards instead. Keep up the good work Mankins, see ya again soon.“
“Hands down the best lunch we had in Shallotte Ocean isale beach. Burgers were cook perfect. Shrimp wrap was great. The chicken bacon jam was the best I ever tasted. The view was a great addition and the service I can not say enough about. Must “
“We had a blast today at Hot Buffalo! It was our first time there and it was great! Had appetizers and then wings at half time. They were great! Super service. Great crowd! Clean as a whistle! Sound system accentuated the fun of the game! Go Buffalo!“
“Loved the food, the beer selection, and the views! We went at an odd time, but the place was still busy. My husband appreciated the way the shrimp was prepped and cooked. The salad was a great portion and very filling. The Old Bay chips and the hush puppies were really good appetizers. We will be back!“
“Great spot for a family stop in holden beach! Tons of flavors, and fast friendly service. Prices seem very fair for, especially for a touristy area. Our group preferred the ice cream over the Gelato, but there's tons of great options!Parking: Lots of parking in the public lots nearby.Kid-friendliness: Great for all ages!“
