“The restaurant was a delight. The decor had a lovely vibe to it with the colorful lamps and rugs hanging on the walls. The food was amazing and they had a good wine selection including some Turkish wines. Definitely get a few of the mezze to share before your entree.“
“As I was passing through on a Saturday, I stopped in right as they opened. Service was quick, food was fresh and so delicious(had the gyro wrap). The tzatziki sauce & meat were some of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely will come back!“
“The food here is fantastic! I've probably eaten there for lunch 50+ times over the years. It's authentic flavor that's hard to find outside of Turkey or Greece. The fries and kebabs are really great, but I've tried a lot of their menu, and it's always good. It's not too expensive either. Also the owner is really lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. For all these reasons, I've brought a ton of my colleagues here for lunch, and I always hear good reviews from them!“
“Love this place! Food is always amazing! Today the service went above and beyond. I was behind a very rude lady who was giving everyone on the front line a hard time. Nothing they could do for her was good enough. I was so impressed that all three of the staff members remained professional and courteous to her. Major kudos to those folks!“
“We had an extraordinary experience here—an evening marked by splendid ambience, an attentive server, delectable wine, and flawless gastronomy. From the outset, we indulged in an assortment of appetizers, namely the octopus, calamari, lamb kefte, and crab soup. For the main course, my friend savored the scallop special while I relished the flawlessly prepared lamb loin. Our companions delighted in the steak frites and the red snapper, the day's piscine delicacy. As a grand finale to our night, we concluded with the exquisite goat cheese and honey cheesecake. We cannot laud this establishment enough for its superlative qualities!“
“Havent been here in awhile and went to celebrate a birthday. I noted this when I made the reservation as well as mentioned it to our server but unfortunately the birthday wasn’t acknowledged in any way; disappointing. In addition we had a reservation for a table for 5 and put us right next to the bar, also unfortunate since it was thoroughfare for staff and service people. Checked out the menu on line before choosing the restaurant and particularly went here for a specific dinner entree listed. Come to find out the actual menu had changed and the entry was no longer available or on the menu. Those are the negatives. The cocktails were good; fresh like springtime. The food was also very good. Everyone in the party enjoyed what they ordered and we all had a variety of items…steak, pasta, and seafood dishes. We ate indoors but outside dining is also available. Ive never had a bad meal here.“
“My family and I have been ordering from Kitchen Queen for the last few months and it has become one of our favorite places in Durham. The food has always been consistently delicious, of good quality, and fresh. We love that it is a family owned and run restaurant that is caring and gracious to their customers. We recently decided to order catering from Kitchen Queen and they did a fantastic job. They provided us with Mediterranean fare including but not limited to baba ganoush, hummus, falafel, kebab, and stuffed grapes leaves (which were our favorite). They were professional, timely, and took the greatest care in the presentation of the platters (see pictures attached). They were able to meet the group’s dietary restrictions that included a vegan diet and nut allergies. All our guests loved the food and asked for the restaurant’s name and location. Please visit and order from this great Mediterranean place! We also highly recommend their fish fry and fried okra.Vegetarian options: Great options for vegetarians and vegans!!!!Dietary restrictions: They were able to work with our nut allergies and vegan diet.“
“Although not publicly advertised, the majority of the food here is Halal (except the beef stakes). Make sure to ask before each visit just to be sure in case things have changed. The staff are friendly and the many of the kitchen crew only speak Arabic. Will definitely come here again.“
“Came here for the first time a week ago, it has been highly recommended. When we arrived we were provided with tea and coffee, which was outstanding considering it was chilly outside. The owner waited on our table and since it was our first time there he asked us what we liked and created some custom dishes for our table. Food took about 15 minutes to prepare and when he brought us our dishes we were not disappointed. The food was fresh, light, healthy and delicious. If you appreciate Middle Eastern food that has heart and soul built into it, than you will enjoy International Delights. The ambiance is nice, they have about 5-6 tables to sit inside and a few small tables outside when the weather is nice. The night we came there was a ton of 'to-go' orders being picked up. Outstanding place, I'll definitely be going back.“
“I love Saladelia. I come before I work night shifts, and Elizabeth who works at the front is incredibly kind and hardworking. She gives the best customer service and food recommendations. Will keep coming back as long as she is working there. All front of house staff are extremely patient and kind with other customers too. Management could be nicer to employees. I've worked in restaurants before and I see the moments of disrespect. Whoever is working FOH should be making well over $15 AND tips should be shared among staff. Minus one star for this. As busy as they are we all know cost of living has increased and employees pay needs to reflect that.“
“All I can say is get your taste buds ready!!! Great customer service "Oscar" is awesome!Worth the visit foodies?❤️Parking: There's parking spots in front but there's also, several businesses in the area of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There's outside seating under the building and outside in the sun. There's waiter serving for accessibility.“
“I have never had a dish like this before. Fatayer is a Middle Eastern version of a pizza/calzone. The soujouk fatayer came with aged spice Turkish sausage with eggs, feta, and mozzarella cheese wrapped in dough. This was no joke. It was HUGE and super cheesy. The sausage had so much flavor, it was so strong paired with the feta cheese but the mozzarella and eggs mellowed it out. The dough was perfectly baked. It almost reminded me of a soft pretzel consistency because it had a crust but it wasn't TOO crusty and the inside was so soft. I was picking off pieces and dipping them in their homemade tzatziki. You can't go wrong with anything at Med Deli! “
