Barbara, my wife, best friend, going on 45 years, wants to dine in, so do I !! Soon !! Thanks for the incredible Mediterranean fare, I feel safe when I enter your establishment !! EVIL EYE , Protects all, I wear every day.“
“My husband and I love going here for date night, they also have the best brunch in town! I love that they rotate the menu with the season, I almost always get their seafood specials, the food is always excellent. Thursday night date nights here are some of my favorites. Must have their french toast at brunch and their truffle fries at lunch/dinner, if the Jagerschnitzel is on the menu-get it-it's fabulous“
“Came in first time and the staff was so friendly and helpful providing the perfect recommendation. Malik and Jules assisted with my bowl and provided great recommendations. The lamb meatballs and the garlic sauce was amazing. Place was clean with amazing staff that go above and beyond and wonderful food .“
“Fantastic all around!! Tori helped me for my first visit by being helping me figure out which toppings i would enjoy and giving a description of them and her own opinion of how good the food options are!! this was very helpful and appreciated because i have food allergies and she handled it perfectly!!“
“I have a confession, despite the wide love for this restaurant, my visit last week is the first time I have ever gone. But not my first time at Jerusalem Market! I live very close to their original location out toward Sedgefield, and it's always a tasty place to stop in for fresh food. I also have no shortage of great middle eastern and Mediterranean type foods near me, so going all the way to downtown to eat just isn't something I need to do. That said, I was meeting my pop for lunch in downtown, and we both decided to give this place a shot. It's a great cafe downtown with an excellent location, situated on Elm street with several other choices. The food is made fresh to order, so unless you order something served cold, just keep in mind there's a 15-20 minute cook. This is not something I mind of course. I ordered the Armenian wrap, which is beef tenderloin with provolone, baba ghanouj, yogurt sauce and spices in one of their flatbreads. Comes with Z'atar chips, and I added a small cup of hummus for an upcharge. Personally. I'd like to see hummus come with those chips as part of the price, but it wasn't too bad. For a downtown cafe serving high quality food, prices here are reasonable. The flavor was definitely on point! Texture was excellent too, from the doughy pull of the flatbread, to the creamy sauce and baba. It was great. The Za'tar chips were crispy and spiced nicely. Dipping in the hummus, great combo. I had water to drink, but keep in mind all other beverages are bottled or canned. Dad got a nice fresh salad, chunks of feta and a chicken kabob and also enjoyed it. Overall, excellent healthy option downtown, a very nice cafe run by friendly people.“
“We came for a buffet during Ramadan, and we come often for Shawarma sandwiches around lunch. Not only is the environment friendly, and the community atmosphere present, but the food is always impeccably cooked. It is delicious and the serving portions are very generous. The price is absolutely manageable even for a large family or group, and I would highly recommend this restaurant and the bread that they produce to anyone in the greater Greensboro Triad area. Thank you to everyone who made this buffet so successful. I’m so grateful to have you all in our community!“
“The gem is tucked away in the shopping center off Battleground with Trader Joe's and Gold's Gym. My hubby and I had just completed a workout, so what better thing to do then get some food immediately after. Hey, we earned it. I hadn't been here before, but my husband spoke highly of it. I like sandwiches so was game. There was a good amount of people in line on a Saturday so a good sign. It's a simple restaurant. You order at the corner. Most get their subs to go, like we did, but they do have some tables if you wanna eat there. First thing I noticed was they had a lot of options. Truly a sub for any preference. They had the classics like Reuben, Meatball, and cold cuts as well as more unique offering like Buffalo Chicken Ranch and Gyro. You could come here often and try something new each time. I went classic for my first visit and got an Italian footlong on wheat. You can get a 6" or 12". I noticed that my 12" was actually going to be two 6" sandwiches. While this surprised me at first, I kind of liked it. It probably helped to motivate me to stop eating after I consumed the first one and save the other for the next day. The Italian was available cold or toasted and I could add any available toppings and sauces I wanted. They have all the standard options but some fancy extras like roasted red peppers. I got those as well as provolone, lettuce, onion, and oil and vinegar. Our subs were quickly assembled, wrapped up, and given to us to enjoy at home. The staff were efficiently and friendly. There is nothing fancy about these subs and the photos may not be the most exciting, but it was a tasty sandwich. The various meats on my Italian were good and the veggies fresh. They did not skimp on any ingredients and as I said a 6" was enough to fill me up. The other 6" also heated nicely to be enjoyed the next day. My husband got the Chicken Philly. I took a few bites and it was also good. I can see why the Sub Spot is a popular place and if you just wan't a good simple sub, it's a solid option.“
“We just happen to be downtown and looking up good Mediterranean restaurants and found this! When you walk in, you can place your order which is very convenient. I had the Mediterranean salad with gyro meat. We split the falafel which was amazing, and a kafta wrap. The salad had a lot of fresh herbs on it, which I really like. The wrap wasvery tasty, although a bit dry, as well as the gyro meat. They make their baklava in house which they were out of when we came in, but maybe another time. Parking is a bit of a pain because it’s downtown. Good place to check out!“
“Soooo.... the iced tea is AMAZING!!! This was my first visit here and my mom and I both got the steak and cheese and it was delicious. It is full of meat and cheese so it was more of a meal than a snack for us and the fries are delicious. I ended up buying some of their delicious salad dressing to take with me. I highly HIGHLY recommend this spot.“
“Ghassan’s always delivers consistent quality and fresh food! My favorite is the chicken shawarma pita, it has toum sauce (my favorite sauce they have), radish salad and Lebanese pickles. It’s SO good and my favorite part is that it’s not spicy at all as I can’t handle spicy foods. I always get my usual sides - salad and za’atar fries. Their tahini sauce is great too, along with the labne. Personally, I think their cucumber yogurt sauce needs some work as it’s bland and not thick at all. Their falafel is great. The muhammara sauce is good too (although a little spicy for me). Tabouli is also good, but I wish I got more when I ordered it as a side. I appreciate the online ordering option, it’s very convenient.“
“Best Greek food and staff. Best and every order is freshly made for each. Each French fries order is made for each order. NO COLD FRENCH FRIES AND NOT OVERLY SALTED. There is only 3 Ghasssans Restaurants located in Greensboro. I want one near 68 and Wendover.Parking: Plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access at both entrances“
“What a absolute Greensboro Gem!10/10 the fresh made to order pitas that never disappoint, and salads that will knock your socks off . Very family oriented well mannered phenomenal stuff makes this place feel laid back and welcoming ..Great job on this place ?“
“Oakcrest has been my go-to, sit-down-&-relax, meal place since 2016. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is like "home-cooked." It's not gourmet, but "down-home" in quality. A lot of the diners are long-time customers, and many know each other.“
“Ghassan's has the best Philly Cheesesteak in Greensboro! Also with great Mediterranean options, Ghassan's has a diverse menu and also has great service. Atmosphere is pretty lively and there's always a sizeable crowd at lunch hour. An established entity in Greensboro for many years, Ghassan's will hopefully live on in the Gate City for years to come.“
“Owner and people worked there were friendly , food was good , we ate chicken and beef tikka were really good my kids enjoyed it , even though I don’t live in high point will be back for sure , if you live in the area this little Turkish restaurant worth a try for sure,“
