“Ajja is a true gem. A chance to try Michelin worthy food at regular restaurant prices. The plates are designed to be shared, and I recommend trying as many things as you can. Stock up on extra bread, as you will want to dip the bread in everything. The menu changes seasonally, which makes every visit a new experience. Everyone is so friendly and attentive and you can tell how much they really love working here. The food is like a Middle Eastern light Indian fusion, but it's really hard to put it in a specific category because the dishes are so unusual but yet approachable. We brought the grandparents with us this time, and even though they prefer milder dishes, they very much enjoyed the burst of flavor as even though there was a boldness to the spices it wasn't overdone. Be sure to try their unique twists on cocktails and special desserts. Ajja is the best nationally recognized fine dining restaurant, James Beard nominee, that you can easily get reservations for, arrive in jeans and a t-shirt and not feel out of place, and eat a meal that will not break your bank. I highly recommend this to everyone!“
“The restaurant was well kept and organized. They have a simple menu and allow you to customize your own pita, rice or salad bowls with a lot of protein or vegetarian options. It’s similar to CAVA - and perhaps I’m naïve to great Mediterranean foods but I would prefer CAVA in terms of their flavor profiles.“
“I am Chinese and this is my first time visitinf Sheeba restaurant. My boyfriend and I are just beyond happy. We ordered Lamb for two. We got complimentary salad along with it as well. The salad was huge I wish I had a picture. The dinner was so heavy, so much rice!!! Lamb was perfectly cooked and the soup was so flavorful. We added 2 more bread ( on top of the 2 bread that was included in the meal) for only 2 dollars. 1 dollar bread that is much bigger than my face, come on! 64 dollars dinner my bf and I were so full and we still have so much left over, I am beyond surprised I can find such nice quality restaurant in Raleigh. I have never been to Yemen and barely know much about Yemen, but my stomach now thinks Yemen as its second home after this visit! Thank you!!!!“
“Came to this place last week and I love it! So here I am back again, and I met the owner. Humble man who is kind, and has such a wonderful attitude. The food is flavored perfectly, and I will probably be back next week. I also love their chicken over rice plate with white sauce! 10/10Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh veggies, and other options. Delicious menu, you cant go wrong!Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place! Great options in bite size pieces“
“I've been eating here since 2001 and Sam always greets me with a "Hi, Boss" and asks if I want my usual. It's rare these days that you get that kind of feeling when you walk into a restaurant but Taza always delivers. Oh, and the food is fantastic! Thanks for years of great service and good!“
“Great Mediterranean food, even better service. The couple that runs the restaurant are the nicest, helpful people you will meet. As someone who hasn’t had a great deal of Mediterranean food, they were extremely patient and informative in explaining things to me. I will definitely be coming back!“
“I ordered chicken shawarma and kafta kabob from this restaurant. I really liked both of them, especially the chicken shawarma. It was very fresh and hot, and when i took a bite, smoke came out of it. It was so tasty!? I have never eaten such fresh and delicious chicken shawarma?. I think it is the best shawarma in Raleigh. I also think this is a good Mediterranean restaurant in Raleigh. I highly recommend them. ??“
“This was a very friendly, welcoming restaurant from the moment we walked in. Kaled, the owner, was genuinely happy to have us for our first visit. The food was great, and all the toppings were very fresh. I got the chicken bowl with half rice and half salad. My wife got the chicken shawarma pita. I also tried pickled turnip for the first time. Very colorful, and very tasty! Kaled gave us a sample of their falafel; stating he wanted us to try it. It tasted great! The customer in front of us was there just to get a lemonade. She commented to us that their lemonade is "the bomb!" I might have to try it next time. It was more food than we could eat. We'll definitely come back. Plenty of parking since it's in the shopping center with Sprouts Farmers Market, City Barbeque and Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Right across from the Hallmark Store.“
“Sassool is very fresh food. I get the You Pick 3 which is $11 and so good. It comes with their warm, out of the over, pita bread.Above picture is vegan:Autumn Root Salad,Mjadarah-or MJ, Sweet Potato Salad. Ask to try a spoonful. That's how I learned! They also have meat, fish, veggies.Oh, Mon nite is senior nite 15% off.Vegetarian options: There are green leaf icons signifying vegetarian. There are a lot of yummy options.Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options. Just askParking: I park in the lot in front of the thrift store. There are quite a few spaces.“
“My husband and I come here weekly, sometimes more than once a week! The food is a great price and tastes authentic & organic... Definitely fresher than most food you can find eating out. The tahini sauce is so so good. I had the fried cauliflower roll (vegan!) and it's one of our favorites. Only $7.5!The dessert is also very homemade-authentic tasting. The best tiramisu I've had. Sweet, but not too sweet, and not "wet" or dripping like the defrosted stuff from olive garden that comes in a box.The people are also very sweet and smile when they see a regular like us!! You'll love it, it feels like family there!Dietary restrictions: Vegans and anything else can eat here. Truly one of the best vegan food places around, and yes, I love Pure Soul too.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals for only $5!“
“The food here is so flavorful and delicious! Comes out so fresh and you can tell is made with love and attention unlike so many places out there now. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Such a nice change of pace from standard fast food.“
“Today I had the pleasure of dining at CAVA for the first time. I’d been meaning to try it, but never got around to it. I’m so glad I did! The food, service and atmosphere were great. A special thanks to Caleb for going the extra mile and making the experience that much better! He was patient, gave me the rundown of the options and even shared recommendations. I’ll definitely be returning.“
“A must visit! The food was amazing with lots of options. You have cold and hot options to choose from. The pita bread was soft. This is store/restaurant. They have great dessert options too. This is my go to place! You have a parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating.“
“Connor our server and bartender was very professional and attentive. He also made great cocktails ?!! I very much enjoyed a perfectly dirty gin martini while my husband enjoyed the Clockwork old fashion. The falafel tacos were very delicious!! We will be returning often.“
“My wife and I ordered from Grubhub and we both got the build your own bowl and we both loved it. We actually got excited that we have another good restaurant to order feom. Definitely recommend them. We did not go to the actual restaurant so can't speak to the atmosphere.“
“My daughter and I eat at the Mac House at least once a month. Everything is always good. This time it was the best yet! The strawberry and chicken salad was fantastic and so was the strawberry club grilled cheese. The strawberry white chocolate cheesecake was to die for! Highly recommend!“
“"Experience the essence of Greek cuisine at Crabtree Mall where freshness and health are the heart of every dish. From crisp salads to savory grilled meats, each bite is a delightful celebration of Mediterranean flavor and vitality."“
“Got a chicken/rice bowl which was very good. Picked the right toppings and it was prettywell balanced. They are a bit stingy with some toppings though, a tablespoon isn't really a portion and ordering extra (tablespoon) us .75 cents. I need about 5 tbs of tzatziki and that's not an option. Other places give more, whether bowl or sandwich. But it's all fresh & simple.“
“This review is a tad different. The food was tasty and in large portions. However, there were no food allergy warnings posted, which led to a medical emergency. The reason I am still giving a decent review is the fact that it is partially my fault for not asking ? in the few minutes prior to the onset of an allergic reaction, however, I must say, The fries and shwarma panini was top tier.“
“My new FAVORITE spot in town! I have gone a ridiculous amount of times so far, as Taza is my shop’s neighbor. They are always so kind and quick. I think almost everyone there remembers my name and everyone cares about me and my shop like family already! Best family and comfortable vibes, Big Boss is a sweetheart and you can tell he really cares about your food and experience. For food, I am a picky eater, but their grilled chicken is the best I’ve ever had, and having tried the roast beef gyro yesterday I HAD to come get another today. I actually fell asleep thinking about it last night, it’s that good. My boyfriend loved his Tour of Lebanon and we both just LOVE their pita and everything that we can dip it in or put in it. You can customize your food how you like which is my most favorite part of all. They are so accommodating. Taza has a special place in my heart!“
“Great market with hot lunch bar. Lots of options, made to order, and so tasty!Market is also really well stocked with anything you could want; chips, jams and honeys, tea, cheeses and cold meats, olives, coffee, and an aisle of cookware. Guys working there are super friendly too, I'll definitely be going back.“
“If you’re giving this place anything under 4 stars are from those who frequent Olive Garden and think fettuccine should be served in a bread bowl. The best hanger steak and the best hummus which for me rivals the hummus at Parizade. (I love both) The art and the pairing of cherries and the dukkah flavors oh goodness. We had a hiccup with the wrong dish being brought out and there were menu items not available due to Valentine’s Day weekend. However all the food was exquisite and not overfilling. I wish I had photos but we ate everything too fast.“
“I loved this place. I went with my wife and some friends and we had an AMAZING time. The place is beautiful, the decoration and lighting are super nice too.We ordered sangria to drink and it was (for me obviously) the most delicious sangria I have ever had.The food was delicious, Lisa, the girl who served us, was super kind, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, we were all very happy with what we ordered. In short, it was an experience that I can't wait to repeat again!!!“
“There aren't enough stars for the ubiquitous flavors contained in this Veggie Platter. This place absolutely nailed what they do. I had the Falafel, Tabouli, Baba Ganoush, Grape Leaves. Every bite was different fresh flavored experience. I travel a ton and love Mediterranean Food and this place is in the top % of great! Thanks Guys.“
“Jasmin and Olivz became a staple during my time at NC State, and it's not hard to see why. The chicken shawarma is consistently fresh and tender, paired with sauces that are nothing short of delicious. The staff, always friendly, adds that extra touch to the experience. Today's visit included a build-your-own bowl with chicken shawarma and sesame sauce dressing .. it was simple yet great flavors. We also got a vegetarian bowl with rice, chickpeas, and falafels, creating a satisfying mix. The spinach zaki, a regular favorite, never disappoints, and the paninis are consistently excellent. It's my go-to spot for light Mediterranean meals, with a bonus of being super friendly to vegetarians and vegans. Dine in seating may get crowded during lunch hours but still a great spot that has my tastebuds hooked!Vegetarian options: Falafel and Chickpeas for proteins“
“I'm not the big connoisseur of mall food and I usually steer away from it. However, I grabbed lunch at Kabobi last week and it was really good! I'm a bit of a fan of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food which, at times, is hard to come by in Raleigh. But that's changing thankfully. This place is set up like a lunch counter. I went with the Kabobi sampler. The meats were well seasoned. The steak bites were a little overdone but I imagine they cook it well because most people like it that way. It was fine. The vegetables and salad were fresh. And, the service was friendly. I'll definitely be back when I'm at the Crabtree Valley Mall.“
“The best Cava around, I drive out of my way just to go to this one (another location is actually closer to my house). Whoever runs this Cava has customer service and food ordering down pact. The people are always friendly, food is always in stock, portions are fantastic. Really enjoy it, keep up the great work!“
“I got the Tuesday lunch menu and got a spicy chicken gyro. It was delicious and a good deal. The service was so nice. If you want clean, nice food then go to this place. The outside seating was amazing. The tables were super clean. I will be coming back to here most definitely.“
“The Service is amazing, I’ve never eaten her before and the staff was patient and knowledgeable. They help me find a delicious combo that met my diet restrictions without forfeiting taste. I’ll definitely be coming here again. P.s. the music was on point, yacht rock and melodic grooves.?✊?“
“This restaurant sells itself wayyy short by calling itself Checkers PIZZA. It also has delicious mediterranean/arab food as well as sub sandwiches n stuff. Also its one of the only places consistently open past midnight on Hillsborough, (pretty much the only time I go there).“
“I ordered to go because I was feeling homesick and looking for Greek food, I got the authentic gyro. Which was my mistake because I thought it would be the slices of lamb I am used to getting. Although it wasn't what I was craving, it was delicious, and the fries were perfect. I will be ordering again I'll just make sure I order the correct thing this time. The food was very fresh and warm. You can tell the take pride in their work the food looked just like their photo.“
“The mandi rice with grilled chicken is so good! We had a pleasant dining experience: good food and service. It would be nice if they could renovate the inside for a better ambiance while maintaining the Palestinian atmosphere. Parking can be an issue during busy hours.“
“Everything is a ten! The restaurant gives me Cali vibes in the South! Special thanks to the bartender Allayne for always making the best drinks and her wonderful service! Get the chicken and ask for Allayne at the bar she never disappoints!“
