My only disappointed was the limited amount of sauce or flavor. I could tell if it was due to the amount or lack of flavor. Either way, it was a good take on a pie.“

“Edit- unfortunately the pitcher is no longer the deal it used to be. Only two drinks out of the pitcher now, and based on my question about this to the manager, it seems that change is on purpose as she acted like I was insane that for suggesting one could possibly get more than two drinks out of a pitcher and insisted everything is measured out….measured out to be $6 more than the individual version of the drinks are (how this makes sense is beyond me). Unfortunate, but good to know so we can do pickup instead of dining in and have drinks at home. Pizza is still delicious!

10/10 experience! This is the best pizza we have had in CLT and had great service from Carter. Highly recommend the pitcher of skinny margs too for yielding 3 drinks each, essentially for the price of two drinks. This place should be rated WAY higher than it is. Will return as soon as possible 🙏🏼“

I got the Good Pauline at our server’s recommendation but my friend got the Bug Hawaiian and I thought it had more flavor. Very few people were in the restaurant and service was hit or miss. It is a large pizza so I’d either share or be prepared to take home leftovers.“

DO NOT ORDER WITH SLICE - our order never arrives correct - you waste money with any order they get - we won't do it again - sadly means we wont eat HOP as often as it's an issue - we dont eat mushrooms peppers nor onions - and our philly orders arrived with them even after one said NO VEGGIES and no radial buttons for them were marked and the other no radial buttons for them were marked and listed lettuce tomato mayo with sale and pepper as the only and it came with all that crap on them - cannot pick it off or out as its chpped all through - fuming mad!- When you have someone with an allergy to onions we never order things with them - don't make radial buttons on the menu to select if you want it and then not accept that when you don't select it! This is crap! The cooks in the kitchen need to be looking as well as whomever accepts the orders to validate they are correct - this is sadly one of many that has happened with SLICE - better do away with it altogether as they clearly are not getting the orders submitted correctly - save your money - I hate this as again we love amy and the team there - but this is ruining my image with the amount of money thrown in the trash with thse issues over timeov“

“If you like Neapolitan Pizza you will love this place. We tried the Pistachio Pesto Pizza and it was surprisingly one of our favorite pizzas. Along with the Diavola Pizza, the Burrata Pizza, and the Mushroom Maria (which i felt could use more tuffle oil, but it was still really good.) And they have the best Cannolis I have ever tasted in my life. Made with real mascarpone cheese, not basic brick cream cheese. And the pumpkin spice one was a really nice autum treat! Would go great with a cuppa coffee. We ate 4 pizzas in store. And ordered another pizza and cannolis to go. This place is a must try. Me and my family give it a 10/10.“

“I recently visited this location while in town visiting. The food was absolutely AMAZING! I tried the gluten free crust…. Incredible! My son enjoyed his pizza as well! The service was outstanding! The prices are very reasonable and you get a nice portion. I highly recommend and will definitely return when I visit Charlotte.

It has been one week since we had such atrocious service from our server "Tom". See below. Tonight we went back again as Brixx Blakeney is still our favorite restaurant. We asked for an got Leanne as our server. And as usual she Exceeded All Expectations. Drinks were plentiful, Pizza was hot and tasty, and her service could not have been better. Even though she was very busy, she took time to make sure we had everything we needed for a great Pizza experience.

My only question which I guess is none of my business is why is Tom still there. Tonight he was just walking around in circles or standing around. Leanne and Scott (another great server) were almost running. Tom was just there. I watched him serve another booth. He was there three times: Take order, bring drinks, bring and take bill on his little electronic device. That is not service.
But as long as we never have him again, that is Brixx business.
Thank You Leanne for such a great dining experience. You are the best. Scott is also great as is Max.

UPDATE 10/31/2024

It has been about a month since we were last there. We have always loved Brixx Blakeney. But since we were there last time they have hired a new server (Tom). After we had been seated for a good while (restaurant was far from full) Tom came over. He took our drink order and brought them. Then he left and we did not see him again for over 10 minutes. During this time we were speaking with the other servers we have known for years. Leann stopped to talk a minute as she is a friend and our favorite server. When I asked could she not swap with Tom she just shook her head no. Tom was ignoring us. Leann had to move on to her tables and Tom finally came back to take our order. It is BOGO day due to the Hornets. So I told him. He said I had to show him something on the ap or email. So I did, even though no one had ever asked for this in years. Again, no one showed up for a long time. Finally the pizzas came out. My wifes Pizza was so cold the cheese had hardened. Tom was no where to be seen. So finally I took the pizza to the counter myself. I asked the young man who was helping put the plates and boxes together to ask the cooks to heat it up. He quickly did. And he did a great job and made sure the pizza came back very quickly. Good for him. Tom? No where to be seen. After another 10 or so minutes Tom just walked up and took our drink glasses and refilled them. Then he was gone again. No sign until he came back with the bill. No BOGO was on it. I asked again. He said for me to show him proof I was entitled to this (again) so I did. He disappeared again. Then came back with an adjusted bill. This time he pulled out the little machine some of the waiters used to use to charge at the table. And rather than me being able to leave the tip I wanted, it had 3 choices that I could see. 25% 20% or 15%. Maybe there was an option for 0% but I did not see it. So I was forced to give 15% for very very poor service. I would have rather given the young man at the counter some money because he was the only person that help us. So service was awful.

My pizza was still luke warm so I ate it. But it was very chewy and not very tasty. Very disappointing for my favorite restaurant in Charlotte (see review above)

“I remember being 12 years old and coming here, and terrorizing my 6 year old sister saying the wolfman was gonna get her. Now I'm coming here 25 years later with my husband who is obsessed with the old Universal Horror monsters. The restaurant is perfectly nerdy and on point with all their werewolf decor and the pizza is legit. Wish I had pizza half as good as this where I live, but for now it's a staple every time I come to Charlotte.“
