“Fantastic food. Very friendly staff. There is seating outside and inside. Taiya was our waitress. I had the buffalo burger and my wife had the elk burger. For dessert I had the peanut butter pie. My wife had the chocolate pie. Everything was great. We can't wait to come back to try something else. So glad we stopped. On our second visit my wife had the Indian taco. It was awesome. The bread was soft and sweet. I had the southern fried steak. It melted in my mouth. Once again we were so glad we came back.“

“We were seated immediately. Our meal was delivered to the table in about 5 minutes after ordering! Great friendly service! Excellent food. You need to try their brisket, burnt ends baked beans, potato salad, and collared greens. You're gonna love it! Come hungry!“
“Great brewery, the owner Greg is very personable and great knowledge of beers. Makes great combinations and every beer we tried we enjoyed. My Wife and I made the trip from Gatlinburg and weren’t disappointed, and got to see some Elk around 430 pm back to our Air BnB through Newfound Gap Rd“

“Absolutely amazing eatery!!!! We went with my in-laws (who go when in the area including the day prior), and were absolutely blown away!!! From the kindness of the wait staff to the Chef Kevin coming out to speak to diners, everything was 20 stars!!! Having allergy issues, they were beyond accommodating to my needs and my son wouldn't stop eating his chicken to try his French Fries - if that doesn't say it all, nothing will!!! HIGHLY Recommend to anyone and everyone who is in the mood for fantastic food and service! I wish we had taken photos, the chicken salad was HUGE and the Deep Fried Deviled Eggs are delectable, but the food was too good!!! We would have sat outside (fur babies allowed outside), but it was just a bit too cold and windyDietary restrictions: More than happy to accommodate as well as confirm through ingredient lists to avoid allergiesKid-friendliness: Coloring page menu and super friendly to kiddosWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and accommodating in seating“
“HARD TO FIND lol huge sign on the side of building but entrance is a small door past where you’d expect. We walked into a pizza place and tried to order beer. OOPS. Service is better here than the other innovation location but it may of just been the time of day we came. They have a big selection, cool vibes with darts and do half pours!!“
“Food truck typically here, huge open spaces for plenty of guests. They have a lot of merch for sale and it seems they have a lot of cool events going on. When we got here it was Taylor Swift trivia - so cool! Staff were very friendly and helpful with letting us try different samples.“

“Had our 31st Anniversary dinner here last night. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in the area. I had the surf & turf. The fillet was perfectly medium and the lobster tail mouth watering. Hubby had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and green beans and he cleaned his plate. Will definitely come back when we’re in Dillsboro.“

“My daughter and I are celiac so we had to research before our train ride in Bryson to find a place that could provide lunch. Mountain perks exceeded our expectations. They were familiar with celiac, had dedicated prep space for gluten free items and had a ton of options, including several bakery items. It was such a treat!! And since I was diagnosed I have given up most baked goods but enjoyed a cinnamon raisin bagel that you could not even tell was gluten free. We come up twice a year and this will be one place we make a priority to visit. Their gluten free wraps are amazing also!!“

“Easily the busiest place in Sylva. You wouldn't expect to find a fairly popular brewery here but it's located right off main. Offering food and live music too. Took the bartender forever to even pay attention to us though. Sat right at the bar and watched him help 3 or 5 people before us. So I guess if you have nothing else to do in Sylva then you just come here because it's the most active place in town. Overall would be back cause the server was nice when he did come over.Cool open atmosphere and they have lots of merch“
“Cool place with good tunes. So many choices of brews with seasonal options. Main level, upstairs (inside and outside) and patio seating. Great staff with friendly conversations. Awesome food truck with yummy bites. Glad we stopped in for a visit.“

“Amazing tasting food! There’s a ton of vegan and vegetarian options to choose from and they all taste great. The tempeh burger is the best! And fries are good too. We also got noodles and the taste was nice. Lots of different types of cuisine.Vegetarian options: Tempeh, tofu, noodles, fries,Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“We came to Balsam today and interacted with tristian, Morgan, isaiah and walked away feeling extremely taken care of. There was another customer who intoxicated and trying to interact with us, but the staff stepped in and made us feel unbelievably comfortable and looked after. Before this interaction even took place, the staff was already personable and kind. As a woman, these kinds of interactions with staff are so important and I am so happy to have met them today. Thank you staff from the bottom of my heart!“

“Finally made it to River and Rails and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30PM. We did have to wait for a bit for someone to notice us and take us to be seated. We picked to sit outside and didn't have anyone to come to us in about 10 minutes plus we were getting a little cold so we came back inside to sit. Of course had to get some drinks. I went with the 120 House Margarita which was pretty good and at $10 not bad. The bar was backed up so did take a little for drinks but our waitress did give us a heads up. Would for sure some here to watch a game since they have a lot of drink options plus cheap drinks like $2 Busch Light and $3 PBR Tall Boys. I will say the menu is loaded with amazing sounding options. They had all day Brunch options that sounded great then bar and Southern food too. They had a soup of the day which I had to try which was Cajun Clam Chowder. It was great! Great flavor and spices, full of clams and was the perfect consistency . Not to thick like many chowders I have had. I took awhile to make a decision but I ended up going with the Country Catfish & Grits which I got Cajun Cornmeal Fried (Blackened is also an option) which is topped with Cajun Cream Sauce. Of course sign me up. Our food came out and it looked great. Large piece of fish, rich Cream Sauce, Cheesy Jalapeno Grits, and with my Greens on the side. This was great and I would for sure get it again. They even make there own hot sauce which I loved too. Everyone we were with also enjoyed there food since everything was delicious. The only reason for 4 and 5 five stars was due to the service which again wasn't bad just a little slow. We will for sure be back maybe for some drinks and great food.“

“Super good food. Great place to have breakfast every morning if you're within 25ish minutes.Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten allergy, and frankly this is one of the most conscious restaurants with a simple, yet full and comprehensive gluten free menu. Most of their menu items are gluten free.“

“It's a nice place with a nice atmosphere. The food is good. I got the original Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was good but quite plain tasting. To be honest I was a quite disappointed that it did not have cheese whiz. I think it has provolone, which is a good cheese but it has no flavor when paired with the intense flavors of the meat, onion, and peppers. If they want to call it the original Philly Cheese Steak they really should be using cheese whiz.“

“Probably my favorite place to eat in Sylva besides Josh's Backstreet Takeout. Love their Caesar wraps and grilled chicken sandwich, and weekly wing flavor specials that are always A++ (got the pineapple wings on a whim this week and was surprised at how good they were). Good quality wing in and of itself which is a must for a place that serves wings. Only a few times did I get a super small portion or had part of my order missing or wrong. They are nice, just double check your order before you leave if ordering takeout!“

“It was fantastic to revisit after such a long time since the last time I was there. As always, the slice and knots hit the spot!!Vegetarian options: A wide variety of veggie & vegan ingredients.Parking: It's always a tight squeeze & navigating the lot is almost always tricky.Kid-friendliness: With both inside & covered porch seating options, being able to occupy time watching the comings & goings of the trains at the Great Smoky Mountains Railway is such a plus for kids young & oldWheelchair accessibility: The gravel lot is challenging, but the access ramp is plenty wide.“
“When I visit quaint, small towns, I go for the ambiance, the culture, the mix of locals and tourism in the area, the history and appeal, the food and most of all the drinks!!! This place hits the nail on the head, in every aspect! A very eclectic cocktail menu, with knowledgeable bartenders! The Bryson burger is one of my favorite food options! The Brussels are absolutely amazing! And have you tried their pork??? They smoke it in house! So many fresh food items to choose from! They don't have wait staff. They have bartenders. So order your food and drinks up front and your food is run out to your table. Their entire staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating! Your pets are allowed in the bar and outside! What other location allows that?!?! They have a huge grassy field for your children and pets to play in. Just sit back, relax and enjoy your time here! And the best part, they will be brewing their own beers soon!!! In the meantime, they have a very solid list of local craft beers! You could definitely find something here for almost anyone! We will be back soon!!!“

“We stopped by on a whim and so incredibly happy we did! We had the most delicious wings and met the owners who immediately seemed like long lost friends. They are SO dog friendly and had the most amazing regulars that were so kind. Kinley, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, says you HAVE to stop by for the hotdogs and bacon“

“Our go to place for coffee when we are in town! Love supporting small locally owned businesses. It's crazy I've seen so many people talk about how rude the staff is but we have never experienced that. Some people need to check their own attitudes we have seen people come in with the line out the door and complain that the wait is to long ? Its free to make your own coffee at home ? stop being rude to the workers who actually show up and work. Most places are still short staffed.“
