“I'm here visiting from NYC and I found this place because I wanted something like home-cooked..... OMG the food is awesome!!!! I was very impressed. I definitely recommend this place for any out of owners because I'm pretty sure the locals already know that this is the place!“
“Food was Great! The Lady that helped me (possibly the owner) was nice as could be. Food came out quick and hot. Plenty of sauces to choose from. Exceptionally clean! Food portions were great for the cost. Parking is a bit limited, but it's worth a a few extra steps.“
“Was greeted when entering the restaurant. Waitress was very friendly, food was excellent, service was great! Big portion of chicken and dumplings! Homemade and delicious! Will definitely order them again. Just like my grandma use to make. Big selection of vegetables.“
“We eat at the Country Club Road location because the pork is pit cooked over wood which tastes noticeably better than gas cooked. We’ve eaten there for years even when it was Little Richard’s bbq. The BBQ is excellent and I’d recommend the fried okra. Service is solid. The only thing I dislike is the credit card surcharge and their recent switch from Coke to Pepsi products.“
“Definitely my top favorite in winston visited Monday night! The service and food was over the top! Thank you for providing a wonderful experience ! I will be back very soon! Filet was spectacular and scallop very fresh cooked perfectly! Also amazing Christmasy cocktails!“
“Ok..not a five because of the sides. Both the beans and mac n cheese were room temperature, but good flavor, just not hot. However, the brisket, pulled chicken, and burnt ends were really hot, lots of flavor, and lots of it. The BBQ sauce was awesome and the roasted jalapeño just the right touch.“
“Good food, but prices on the high end (particularly for sandwiches). Clean environment, order takers/cashiers are friendly and outgoing. Some of the best hushpuppies in town, however vegetable sides (green beans, collard greens, baked beans) are of the canned variety and bland. At least serve the brown sugar & molasses baked beans. Chicken livers and fried chicken plates hit the spot. Not overfried or saturated in grease. Take out menus non-existent, and their webpage lacks prices ...... hmm, "wonder why?"“
“The chop BBQ with lexington sauce and slaw was the best I've had from LR i i think ever. My Hotdog all the way was perfect. The shrimp taco were pretty good but a little bland. Defiantly not bad at all.Only issue I have is the price. It's pretty high for the amount of food.Regardless I'm full and happy. I will be a return customer“
“If I could, I would eat here every time I wanted wings. Their smoked wings, while somewhat expensive (what's not nowadays), are incredible. Fried pickles and the spicy dipping sauce along with Onion rings are on point! The barbeque is good, but for me, the smoked wings are the best in town. They also have a good beer selection.Parking: There is a small parking lot on the property. You need to validate your parking when you enter the restaurant. 3 hour limit. Street parking around it.“
“The food was amazing- great quality and hot. Xiomara was nothing less than PERFECT!! Her customer service was by far the best I’ve had. She catered to our needs the entire time we were dining. I will now be requesting to sit in her section! Great job Long Horn, she’s a keeper.“
“May I say, the bread here, is almost one of the greatest, most delicious, tasty, scrumptious, buttery pieces of bread you will ever taste in your life. My life was never the same when I first had a bite of the bread here. Its shiny outside and fluffy inside, with the pairing of the most delicious cinnamon butter you’ll ever smell. All your senses will be overloaded with joy. I can’t stress enough on how different my life was when I ate it here. The rest of the food? Incredibly adequate. The bread? Heavenly. I felt like an angel being summoned from God when i first ate this bread. This bread made me believe. By far, one of the most delicious foods I’ve ever seen, heard, smelled, tasted, and felt in my life. Absolutely incredible. 10/10. Down below is a picture of me when I took my first bite of the bread.“
“As you see in the name, it's a takeout spot, so for the "ambiance" there is not much to say. The service was good, very quick and helpful. We picked up the food to eat it while at the Tanglewood lights. To start off, the street corn was BOMB. We love us some corn, and it did not disappoint. The hot dogs were also great, from the choice of bun, to the actual hot dog, to the toppings, all amazing. We also really enjoyed the mac and cheese, but maybe it wasn't our healthiest choice. all overall great.“
