“The food was of great quality and taste. The service was excellent. Small place so accomodating our work party was a little tight. But everyone had a good time. Since I don't eat meat and very little fish there was not an entree for me. But the appetizers were fantastic so those and a salad were perfect. Everyone said there dinner was delicious.Parking: Parking is behind restaurant. Not paved and limited.Wheelchair accessibility: I seen a ramp out back but don't know where they get in. No access in front, several steps.“
“I'm on a roll. excellent dining in the NC, Virginia area this trip has been the rule, but you guys are killing it.The shaved prime rib sandwich with au jus dipping sauce was awesome. I got the brussel sprouts, side.Making the the chef the focus seems to be working.I didn't have enough time to sample all I wanted, but I will.“
“They have the best burgers and onion rings, but the workers/owners come off as rude (cultural thing?), yell at each other in Greek, and have arguments on the phone in front of customers. I recommend ordering ahead for pickup or taking it to go.“
“Nice atmosphere with plenty of TVs and seating. Also have a patio area. Fish and chips is good, and there's also a fish special on Fridays. The regular fish and chips is a bit better to me because it's more seasoned than the Friday fish fry. Pizza is great as well as the wings. Fries are nice and seasoned. Ranch is good. Great drinks also. Oh and the fried mushrooms were solid too.“
“Choplin's has been my favorite local restaurant for years. It never disappoints. They're also great about offering substitutions and modifications due to my food allergies. We had the filets and they were cooked and seasoned beautifully. Sides (fries and brussel sprouts) and drinks were delicious and generously sized.“
“Our server Douglass was funny and very attentive. The fries were so good and the portions large. I didn't expect them to have alcohol but they did! My salad was good but next time I think I'd go for a regular salad instead of a grilled one, (my lettuce was kinda soggy and brown from them grilling it) but I got what I ordered so I'm not gonna knock them for that. My boyfriends burger was good. I'd definitely come back to try something new we had a good experience. They had a huge menu“
“10+ years of eating tenders, as a Cornelius local, anytime there is a discrepancy with my order it is handled in the most professional upstanding matter by the younger staff, They’ll check my ticket they’ll see if there was a mistake made and if so, they will correct it or inform me that the order may have been put in wrong and typically because I’m well known and give a lot of business to tenders as a courtesy. They correct the mistake either way.Today I was in shock when my order was brought to me By one of the older service members….. and I addressed that there had to have been a mistake with my milkshake, Instead, checking the ticket to see if there was a mistake, I was just told that I made a mistake and ordered Incorrectly…. With an attitude. Although I input my order verbally, and the staff is what puts it into the computer. So I don’t know how I could’ve made this mistake. Instead of offering to look into it, she hands me my meal, and I drive off, Disappointed with the The customer service I just received, That is nothing like the customer service when pull up to every single time I come to this establishment. After checking my ticket, I find out the entire order is wrong, The food that’s in the bag is not even what’s on the receipt.Tenders and PDQ family, My heart hurts to know that PDQ is gone now, but please do Better to your longtime customers and veterans. The younger generation is leading a better example in customer service.Kudos to all of the younger generation that is working in tenders today because y’all are why I come back, And will continue to come back.“
“I have never been to this Restaurant before and was coming home from a party I didn’t enjoy. I called in and spoke to a young man who warmed my soul and helped me order what I wanted. Upon entering the place we were greeted by a beautiful bartender who introduced us to the man we spoke to on the phone. It was nice to put a face to the pleasant and inviting voice we experienced on the phone. Bam-Bam didn’t just take our order, he put the order together for us and while we waited served us a complimentary soda. The food smelled Amazing and I couldn’t wait to dive into it. All I can say is WOW! This food hit the pallet like melted ice cream on a warm sunny day. From the service, to the atmosphere and Bam-Bam, you need look no further. This place has it all. Thank you Bam-Bam for your hospitality and love you put into the food! We will be back on a day to dine in and once again experience the warmeth of southern cooking, hungry for more!!!!!!“
“Absolutely phenomenal! Stopped at once place before on Easter and they had a preset menu, with nothing that looked good for outrageous price. Saved me from plopping near $500, so we searched and found this marvelous little place! Let me tell you something! We ate and ate and ate and ate some more, and the bill was half of what the other place was going to charge! The oysters were so fresh! Saw them being shucked before they made it too our table...so we ordered some more! The grilled oysters were phenomenal! Juicy, cooked perfectly, garlic was just enough! So...we ordered another round! Had the fried platter, and they swapped the Grouper out to Haddock for me, no up charge, so they are here to please! Cevieche was absolutely outstanding! Fresh, bright, crisp and citrus! The blacked dishes were also all gorgeous! We finished out with the keylime tart, it was soo good I stole it all ?? This is definitely and hidden gem and absolutely customer forwarded! Cozy place, beautiful and great atmosphere! Will ABSOLUTELY make this a spot near Lake Norman all the time!“
“A classic tavern with the unusual twist that almost everything is made from scratch in house everyday. When was the last time that you were in a restaurant, let alone a tavern, that made tomato soup fresh everyday. Or breaded the fried chicken in house. Or colesaw that didn't come out of a bag. I could go on. Highly recommend.“
“I enjoy visiting Port City Club. It is back in the cut of a neighborhood. Reservations don't hurt, especially at the dinner hour as the restaurant gets crowded on weekend nights. They have their own parking lot. Anything on the menu is tasty and their drinks are pretty awesome as well. If you have questions, ask your server. They have live music on Saturday nights.“
“So far my husband and l have been there 3 times. The wedge salad is excellent with bacon and blue cheese. The dressing is delicious. I wish the ribs had more moist sauce. My husband got the grouper special last time. It was very good. It came with delecious lemon and butter sauce but you had to pay extra for the sauce. My husband and found that absurd. And the price was not justified for a relatively small piece of fish. My husband ordered the porkchop on another visit which he liked very much. I tried the cheeseburger onefe upon the waitress' recommendtion once. It was over cooked and nothing special. I didn't send back. I don't like sending back food except in rare cases. The crab cake entree was good. I got one crab cake. It was good and sufficient for me. I thought the price for 2 crab cakes was too high. The service was very good all 3 times we've been there. We find a good number of items on the menu over priced. We would return for at least the dishes we've tried.“
