“The food was of great quality and taste. The service was excellent. Small place so accomodating our work party was a little tight. But everyone had a good time. Since I don't eat meat and very little fish there was not an entree for me. But the appetizers were fantastic so those and a salad were perfect. Everyone said there dinner was delicious.Parking: Parking is behind restaurant. Not paved and limited.Wheelchair accessibility: I seen a ramp out back but don't know where they get in. No access in front, several steps.“

“Choplin's has been my favorite local restaurant for years. It never disappoints. They're also great about offering substitutions and modifications due to my food allergies. We had the filets and they were cooked and seasoned beautifully. Sides (fries and brussel sprouts) and drinks were delicious and generously sized.“

“Our server Douglass was funny and very attentive. The fries were so good and the portions large. I didn't expect them to have alcohol but they did! My salad was good but next time I think I'd go for a regular salad instead of a grilled one, (my lettuce was kinda soggy and brown from them grilling it) but I got what I ordered so I'm not gonna knock them for that. My boyfriends burger was good. I'd definitely come back to try something new we had a good experience. They had a huge menu“

“Absolutely phenomenal! Stopped at once place before on Easter and they had a preset menu, with nothing that looked good for outrageous price. Saved me from plopping near $500, so we searched and found this marvelous little place! Let me tell you something! We ate and ate and ate and ate some more, and the bill was half of what the other place was going to charge!The oysters were so fresh! Saw them being shucked before they made it too our table...so we ordered some more! The grilled oysters were phenomenal! Juicy, cooked perfectly, garlic was just enough! So...we ordered another round! Had the fried platter, and they swapped the Grouper out to Haddock for me, no up charge, so they are here to please! Cevieche was absolutely outstanding! Fresh, bright, crisp and citrus! The blacked dishes were also all gorgeous! We finished out with the keylime tart, it was soo good I stole it all ?? This is definitely and hidden gem and absolutely customer forwarded! Cozy place, beautiful and great atmosphere! Will ABSOLUTELY make this a spot near Lake Norman all the time!“

“I enjoy visiting Port City Club. It is back in the cut of a neighborhood. Reservations don't hurt, especially at the dinner hour as the restaurant gets crowded on weekend nights. They have their own parking lot. Anything on the menu is tasty and their drinks are pretty awesome as well. If you have questions, ask your server. They have live music on Saturday nights.“

“This was awesome place to go. It was my first time. We had a work event there. We were in a private room. The food and service were impeccable. I am a pescatarian, and had so many choices. Crab cakes, shrimp, gnocchi, salad. And those who ate the beef medallions said they were delicious. As was the alcohol beverages. I highlighted recommend. But you will have to climb many steps to the door and I don't know if there was another entrance. Plenty of parking when we went but you are sharing with golfers so I could see on a busier day it getting full fast.“

“We had 3 generations join us for dinner- age 6 to 74 to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. It was a lovely experience! Food was simply amazing. Drinks were great. Service was excellent and ambience was perfect! This is our new “Epic Chophouse.”“

“This was my first time at this restaurant. The service when we entered was polite and quick. Our server Dyshawna was awesome, always checking on us, and she was able to answer all our questions regarding the food and drinks. I decided to change it up and order something I normally wouldn't have. That was a great choice, it was fantastic. At the end of our meal my son ordered what I had to take for lunch tomorrow. I've passed this restaurant so many times, and I'm glad we stopped this time. I've included a picture of the meal we took home. Sorry we took a few bits, the fish was longer. “The flavors this chef creates are unrivaled. I haven't had more creative or interesting delicious plates anywhere in the world. And we get this dining experience right here in Davidson with absolutely outstanding service! I was dining with a friend with a severe food allergy and the care that was taken was unparalleled. The wine list is extensive and evidently curated carefully. A delightful evening at an outstanding restaurant!“

“We had an amazing meal at Chillfire. The service was great from the moment we entered until we left. Especially our waiter. The food came out fast and was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful. Restrooms were clean. Everything was perfect. I was afraid there would be a long wait given it was a weekend evening, but the restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There were plenty of available tables and staff, even at 6 pm on a Saturday. We had the poutine appetizer which was very good. It was piled high with toppings and piping hot. I was a bit surprised that the fries seemed more like McDonald's fries than the ones cut in house but they were cooked nice and crispy and worked well with the gravy. For entrees I ordered the Oak Island, which was a 6 oz filet with scallops and side of creamed spinach. My husband ordered the prime rib that was one of the specials that day. He was going to order the queen cut but the waiter said it was only $4 difference for the king, so why not go big. He chose the potato hash as his side. Everything was delicious! The scallops were cooked perfectly, as was the filet. It had a perfect sear while still being a perfect medium through the center. The bacon vinaigrette was a perfect sauce, sweeter than I expected from a vinaigrette which I thought complimented the scallops well. The prime rib was a huge cut and cooked to be a perfect rare. I'm not usually one to order rare myself but being prime rib, it seems to be the way to go. I tried a few bites and it was very tasty. Especially with the au jus to dip it in. The potato hash was a great choice for fhe. The sauce was so creamy and the portion was huge. We both left miserably full but enjoyed every minute of it. I'm already planning my return trip!“

“Quiet lunchtime visit. Barkeep Becky was friendly, welcoming and a wealth of information. Makes a very fine Old Fashioned, too! I had the Philly cheesesteak which was outstanding. My better half had the chicken quesadalia and brought home half which I sampled a day later; also excellent. Crispy fries were great. We'll be back. Bonus: very friendly bar patrons.“

“Parking situation sucks a little bit on a busy day so plan ahead to either wait for a spot or to park on the road. The servers were very friendly and accommodating but a little slow but I know they were very busy since it was Saturday. Food is very good, we all got burgers and steaks and we're all pleased with what we got. The appetizers were portioned kinda small so don't play to feed more than 2 people per app. The view of the lake was beautiful. I wish the music wasn't playing so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk at the table.“

Since we have not seen our friends in a while it took us a while to figure out what we wanted to eat since we were talking a lot. The wait staff did not rush us at all. The food was great. “We loved this place! When I went in to ask if they had an outdoor area where we could sit with our dog, they happily opened up the covered patio just for us. The food and drinks were great and came quickly (I highly recommend the shrimp and grits!) and the service was friendly, efficient and impeccable. We’d love to return if we’re in the area again!“

“We had excellent service on Thursday 12/14. We had 7 people at the high top tables in the bar. The waitress was awesome and didn't miss a beat. The food was good for the price. We got the filet special. The music was extremely loud and we couldn't hear each other talk. It could have been taken down a notch or two and still be loud. But they dud seat us in the bar. I just felt bad for my dad who has hearing aids. I will be back and wished I could remember the waitresses name because I would love to request her again“

“The food was amazing! We had the salmon and pork chop for main entrees and tomato basil soup and shrimp scampi for appetizers. The quality is what you would find in high end restaurants in the city. “I met co-workers for lunch, what a great place. The menu consists of sandwiches, soups and salads, perfect for a light lunch. The small market is nice too. I had the Bacon, butter lettuce, pimento cheese sandwich on cornbread,. Wow, what a mix of flavors. If you are a BLT fan, you have to try it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There may be a small line at peak lunch, but it.moves steadily. If you are visiting or live in Davidson, NC, I reccomend you give it a try!“

“Man Table 31 hit it out of the park for me! On Easter Sunday being able to seat our party size over ten.....thank you. Our server was the absolute best his recommendations were spot on. The kids menu was phenomenal one of the best I've seen in a long time. The steak was superbly done!“

“Small but nice bar with tasty food. The bar was a little busy so I didn't get noticed. Did have to wait a little on table despite reservations, but not a big issue. Just be warn that weekends can be crowded. This is a small place compared to other resturantes. Would advise reservations ahead of time during prime hours. Beer in cans was very cheap and portions of food was just right. Food is pub fair, with a mixture of higher entres. Would eat here again.“

“I've been hearing about this place for some time and finally made the opportunity to try it. Very local bar kind of atmosphere. Live music the evening I was there, playing music everyone knows. Decent beer selection, with more than couple local brews. Good drink ? selection and a good menu selection. I definitely recommend and definitely plan to go back.“

We were seated promptly and another staff members showed my partner and pups to the patio. The pups received the royal treatment! Arrived rapidly, hot, and very tasty.At 12:15, the first floor was full. The noise level made conversation difficult for senior people so you may want to arrive early, or have a late lunch.Beware of upstairs. It has a low ceiling make noise level even higher.In warmer weather their outside patio would be very relaxing.If you.in the mood for a cocktail only the bar is quiet, comfortable and relaxing.This is a must go to place.Parking: Parking surrounds the building.“

“A friend recommended Bad Daddy's and my boyfriend and I love burgers so we had to stop by. Service with Savannah was excellent! She is a customer service pro. She checked on us every few minutes making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. I got a CYO burger and my boyfriend got the Philly. The burgers are huge and definitely worth making a trip. Everything was good and I'd 110% recommend anyone who loves burgers to grab a HUGE burger from Bad Daddy's!!“

“Went out to lunch this Monday with my niece and mother and had attempted to go to Kung Foo Noodles not knowing they were closed. My niece then chose Bad Daddys which was thankfully open! Were seated quickly and had drinks come promptly. Our server(Karrie maybe) was on top of everything and made sure we were well taken care of. Even offered to go cups for drinks on the hot day when we went to leave. The food was good, came quick and was put together well. Wish we would have tried some sides, as the fried pickles looked good, but it wasn’t cheat day, and if it had been, I would have smashed a shake too. Mom and niece both orders salads, one made to order the other off the menu Greek and both said they liked it - and was large enough that I liked it too - as they couldn’t eat it all!If in Birkdale and looking for a good salad, burger/sandwich, or beer apparently as they have a small bar, I would check out Bad Daddy’s.“

“I'm not sure how to rate the atmosphere. It's a nice, clean looking dining area so seems good for a restaurant. They say everybody is your server and they mean it. Very attentive and helpful staff. Just about everything in the breakfast menu is great. I think the sausage patties are the frozen variety and the grits a bit watery for my taste. Bacon is amazing. Would like to see fresh sausage. The lunches I've had were very good too. Sandwiches were enough for two meals. I recommend the club sandwich. It's a bit pricey. Worth it, but just saying“

“Great draft selection and they even had cyser (a style of mead) on draft! We ordered the burgers and asked for one medium and one medium rare. They got the temp perfect. The fries were really delicious and crispy but the real winner was the sweet potato fries. Crispy and soft and some of the best I have ever had. “Iron Thunder is my go-to place whenever I am in the Mooresville area. Cold beer, great food, and amazing staff make this place top notch! Jackie is my favorite bartender! She's always quick to greet guests, always remembers her regular's drink orders and always has a great attitude! There's a great selection for food options any time of the day. Grab a seat at the bar and you'll see for yourself especially if you're served by Jackie!“

“This place is huge. Lots of TVs for watching sports. Large bar with pretty beer selection including big brands and some craft stuff. Ribs were good and very tender. A bit heavy on the sauce for us. Sundries Pasta was really good. All the food looked good. Lots of variety. Don't expect amazing, but nice family atmosphere with good food. Also, nice outdoor eating area when the weather is nice.Parking: Large parking lot but this place stays pretty busy so lot is often crowded. You might not park right by the door.“

“This place is easily is a 5 star because you can never please everyone and let's also face the fact that servers sometimes have a bad day. Additionally, its not the servers fault for food that is incorrectly cooked, they are not making the food, they are the messengers. I have eaten here maybe 10 times over the years and every time it's a 5 star. We were just there this week with a party of 20! Our waiter was Travis. He did an amazing job dealing with everyone's opinion and directing everyones questions. Overall, amazing experience! Thank you Travis and our other server (sorry I forgot your name)!“

“I love this location. We pop in at all different times and always have great service and smiling faces. The one cook doesn't smile much (hugs if he needs one), but his gravy is the best! Thanks for making more for me. Have you actually watched the staff in there? It's as if your mama (if she was sweet and kind like our WH mama) cooked each of you your very own special breakfast and then did all the cleaning up. Then, the neighbors came, so she had to do it again, repeat... how do they keep all those orders straight? Tip your servers and cook if they are there. Well deserved!
