“Finally made it to River and Rails and I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30PM. We did have to wait for a bit for someone to notice us and take us to be seated. We picked to sit outside and didn't have anyone to come to us in about 10 minutes plus we were getting a little cold so we came back inside to sit. Of course had to get some drinks. I went with the 120 House Margarita which was pretty good and at $10 not bad. The bar was backed up so did take a little for drinks but our waitress did give us a heads up. Would for sure some here to watch a game since they have a lot of drink options plus cheap drinks like $2 Busch Light and $3 PBR Tall Boys. I will say the menu is loaded with amazing sounding options. They had all day Brunch options that sounded great then bar and Southern food too. They had a soup of the day which I had to try which was Cajun Clam Chowder. It was great! Great flavor and spices, full of clams and was the perfect consistency . Not to thick like many chowders I have had. I took awhile to make a decision but I ended up going with the Country Catfish & Grits which I got Cajun Cornmeal Fried (Blackened is also an option) which is topped with Cajun Cream Sauce. Of course sign me up. Our food came out and it looked great. Large piece of fish, rich Cream Sauce, Cheesy Jalapeno Grits, and with my Greens on the side. This was great and I would for sure get it again. They even make there own hot sauce which I loved too. Everyone we were with also enjoyed there food since everything was delicious. The only reason for 4 and 5 five stars was due to the service which again wasn't bad just a little slow. We will for sure be back maybe for some drinks and great food.“

“What a great find from our hotel front desk lady. We decided to take her suggestion and we are really glad that we did! Really cute place with a nice vibe when you walk in. We were greeted with smiling faces. This is a place where you walk into the counter, place your order and the get a table, and your food is brought out to you. They have a large menu. Starting with burgers ( black Angus) wings, salads, pizza, and even spaghetti! It's a cute casual place with plenty of tables and sports on several TVs. They have a self-serve drink area. You can get you get seconds as well!We were treated very well by what we think was the manager, and when we left, there were two other men they all thanked us for our business and invited us back. What I have learned, there's still some amazing small businesses out there that really care about their customers! If you are in Cherokee, NC, I would highly recommend that you try this little gem!Parking: This business is part of a shopping Plaza where there's plenty of free parking in the large lot.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly and with outside seating, pet friendly as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap ♿️ parking and entrance with tables that will accommodate.“

“Great place. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is delicious. I got the pastrami on rye with grilled onions. It was fantastic. I could only eat half. Warmed up the other half for dinner that night and it filled me up. If you are in Sylvania you should really give it a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Great brewery, the owner Greg is very personable and great knowledge of beers. Makes great combinations and every beer we tried we enjoyed. My Wife and I made the trip from Gatlinburg and weren’t disappointed, and got to see some Elk around 430 pm back to our Air BnB through Newfound Gap Rd“

“My husband and I are visiting here on vacation. I order club sandwiches just about everywhere I go for food (it's always a safe bet) to the point that we've dubbed me a club snob. When I tell you this is the best dang club sandwich I've ever had in my entire life, trust me. Every single bite was absolute perfection. There was an actual slice of HAM on my sandwich, not bad thin deli meat piled high, a perfectly thick ham slice. My husband ordered a burger and said it was the best burger he's had. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. An absolute MUST when visiting Charokee.“

“It’s a little college burger joint. Mostly WCU students around during the school year, but it’s got really good food. I’ve had burgers, chicken tenders, fries, pizza, and milkshakes (and more) in the different times I’ve eaten here. All so delicious.“

“Probably my favorite place to eat in Sylva besides Josh's Backstreet Takeout. Love their Caesar wraps and grilled chicken sandwich, and weekly wing flavor specials that are always A++ (got the pineapple wings on a whim this week and was surprised at how good they were). Good quality wing in and of itself which is a must for a place that serves wings. Only a few times did I get a super small portion or had part of my order missing or wrong. They are nice, just double check your order before you leave if ordering takeout!“

“Everytime I go I enjoy quick and friendly service and delicious food. An absolute gem. One of the best burgers you could get in these parts. Fresh and hot too! They've got nice outdoor covered seating and parking is super close. They have breakfast and catering too! Never a bad experience!“
“Had a great lunch with my wife today. I enjoyed the salad with chicken and she had the sliders. Food was great!! Atmosphere was very comfortable. We Met Gene who is a manager and we have a great conversation with him and he was very gracious to us. We definitely recommend stopping in for a meal and get to enjoy this establishment.“

“We ate here while visiting Cherokee. My smash burger was good. My husband liked his pork belly ramen. At first the host was rude, making us wait 5 minutes to sit at a table that was open and ready the full 5 minutes. But, our waiter quickly made up for him.“

“There are 2 handicap parking spaces and around 20 free parking spaces. The restaurant is in good shape and well taken care of. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food products sold in this restaurant. I love their many different flavored drinks. The hamburgers are good as well. Overall, I had a great time eating here in this restaurant. There are tables for you to eat your food outside at this location.“

“We ate dinner there on a Monday, 9/25/23 while on our 50th anniversary vacation. We chose the outdoor seating. My wife got the vegetarian tacos with a side of sweet potato tots. I got the fried shrimp tacos with a chef’s side of maple balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. The food was fantastic and a big thanks to our server, Eliza C., who was super! We highly recommend Foragers“
