Came here with 4 adults and a baby at 6pm on a Friday night. The staff were extremely accommodating when they couldn’t seat us straight away. Once we were seated we ordered the ribs, brisket, and bbq plates as well as the shrimp po boy and of course many sides. Everything was awesome, but the ribs were a standout, and we felt lucky to have snagged some since they ran out shortly after. Potato salad and coleslaw were so good. Good food, and probably the best table service I've gotten in Durham!Our server was handling the bar, 2-3 other tables, and working on closing down for the evening but still had time to check on us frequently and refill our drinks etc.

Great barbecue. I have not experienced North Carolina barbecue, but have had barbecue in several other states. I had the Gumbo, as recommended, and it was delicious! I also got a side of greens, smoked pork, hush puppies, and slaw. All of it was great with the slight exception of the smoked pork, which had a great flavor, but a tad dry. A little vinegar barbecue sauce and it was great.
