“Excellent food and service for over half a century. Their hamburger salad with grilled onions and house made Thousand Island is more than enough for one meal. Terry and David are 2nd generation family owners and excellent people who also pay well and give back to the community. Now George is third generation carrying the torch! Keep up the great work!“
“No waiting to sit. Management was awesome. I spoke with her to tell her of my enjoyable experience of the restaurant. The server was awesome. If I owned a restaurant I would try to get him to work for me. The food was delicious. One of the best eating out experiences. I’ll definitely be back. ?“
“What a delightful diner rght in the heart of Eden! Our breakfasts were perfect not greasy and generous in portion. Our server Bob who may have also been our cook was warm and friendly just as you would expect in this lovely little town. And the owner Randy stopped by our table to make sure things were okay. The place was filling up as we left and I hear they have a breakfast bar on Saturday and Sunday and the place gets very busy. Be sure to stop in. I didn't catch the name of the lovely lady from New York who was cashiering, but she was also a delight!“
“First time visiting this hidden gem. Made reservations for 7:45pm and were immediately seated when we arrived. Menu had a good selection of different types of foods. I ordered Guinness chicken and my husband ordered the NY strip. AMAZING! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and the sides that come with it were wonderful. The owner Kim was our server tonight and she is fabulous. Everyone we encountered were super friendly and helpful. The background music was a perfect selection and not too loud. The restaurant is small and cozy. ORDER DESSERT and get the brandy cherries on it. You won't be disappointed. We will for sure add this restaurant to our regular rotation.“
“I know it's weird to give a gas station 5 stars but it's hard to find a small convenient store with a decent grill like the ones I grew up on. They have all closed or at least shut down the grill. Growing up in Martinsville there were other options and I never had to go to Ridgeway for this but now that I live in NC, I stop here nearly every time I go back home. They have hotdogs (the old style with Jesse Jones type red weenies), burgers, salads and much more not to mention all the sides like fries, onion rings, and hush puppies. I've never had anything here I didn't like. Plenty of beverages to choose from but I prefer the Pepsi fountain unit. There is also a sitting area incase you decide to eat there and not in your car. The staff is always nice and accommodating. Growing up I remember getting three dogs for $.99. That's no longer the case but I still love those dogs! Stop in and give them a try the next time you're driving down 220 in Ridgeway.“
“My family goes to Speedy's every other week. Simple, fresh food in a small town diner. The staff seem to know everyone who walks in, and we're clearly not the only regulars. The owner always greets us with a smile. We have ordered many different items and enjoyed them all.“
