“I live in Buford Georgia and each time I am in Virginia I always try to get by and visit this establishment. The owners try to use local produce and meats. The salads are my favorite. In fact all I have ever ordered was a salad. However my friends always venture farther down the menu and no one has ever complained about anything we ordered. All the food including desserts are made on site.The cocktails are unique in my opinion. The staff is friendly and professional. My favorite server is Julie. She has been working each time we have been dining. When leaving check out the items for sale. I bet you find something to take home. Where I am from it is very difficult finding an establishment like this. We may have them but I haven't found them. So I go out of my way to make this restaurant a stop when in Virginia, the food is worth it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always do.“

“Small town life, rich in its history, this little place has been here for a long time! The food is great, the folks are friendly. They only accept cash, however there is an ATM inside the restaurant! Couldn't ask for nicer people!Vegetarian options: I had the veggie Omlet, it was delicious ?Parking: It's a tight area but there's a parking lot close that can be used if needed.“

“I was just passing through and stopped at Hardee's, it was dirty, the floors were nasty so i left and went to Stuarts right across the street. Im happy i did, its just a cool little southern food family place that had damn good food, friendly staff and just a nice little place to eat. Give it a try its worth the stop. Thank you.“

“We ate here on a weekend trip and it was DELICIOUS. I got the veggie plant and it was all cooked to perfection. I was raised on good homegrown and cooked southern vegetables, my standards are high, and I wholeheartedly recommend them! Stop here if you are in Meadows of Dan. You won’t regret it!“

“For as long as this place has been there. The number of visitors it welcomes and feeds...they need to clean up and remodel the dining area. The food was devious, yes. (Pot roast and chicken pot pie) Service was good, yes. However, as I looked around and noticed the years of dirt, grime, and wear on the floor and walls, I could help but think... do I really want to eat here. It made me think of what the kitchen might look like. We visited here back in 2010. We just revisited in 2023. The place hasn't changed except for the age it shows. Sad. With the hour plus wait we had, the prices going up... I think they can afford at least paint and a new floor in the dining room.“
