“Everything about Angie's is exceptional from the food to the service. . The homemade biscuits and omelets are my go to.”
“Great customer service, yummy food! Can't wait to eat here again. :)”
“There was a little bit of a wait with our reservation but the staff was able to accommodate us and sit us outside. We were a larger party so we definitely understood the situation. Our waitress Noel was awesome, we loved her! We truly enjoyed our experience and the food was tasty. This was our first visit but we will be back!”

“My wife and I just moved up from Tampa Bay, Florida nine months ago. We decided after decades living in crowded cities to move up and out to the country. While we love the area and the tranquility, the dining options are somewhat limited, short of driving north to Raleigh and beyond. One thing I truly missed was Thai food. I spent ten years teaching scuba diving and managing dive resorts, which landed me in Thailand back in the 90’s. In the two years I spent working in the resorts of Southern Thailand I fell in love with the incredible variety of dishes we typically never see in US Thai restaurants. When we finally discovered Mia Thai Bistro two weeks ago I was very happily surprised at both the quality of the food as well as the list it items like Khao Soi (Northern Thai Chiang Mai style soup) and Thai Boat Noodles (Kuay Teow Reua). The restaurant is located in White Oak Plaza on Timber Drive in Garner, in a corner unit with plenty of parking on either side. It’s also close to the theater in the plaza, making it a great movie and dinner option. The interior is an interesting mix of modern and tropical, with greenery wrapping light fixtures and cool lighting. The food is absolutely the star of the show. Although it’s not possible for most Thai restaurants to have access to all the ingredients found in Thailand, Mia Bistros dishes are pretty spot on, and absolutely delicious. So far we have been twice in two weeks and plan to be regular customers. On our first visit I had the Yum Neua Nam Tok (waterfall beef salad) which is my favorite among the Thai meat salads. The flavor was on point and the combination of sour, spicy, and slight sweetness mixed perfectly with the toasted rice powder. My wife, who is newer to Thai food opted for two appetizers, the curry puffs and an interesting non-Thai starter, Korean BBQ beef spring rolls. Both were delicious, with the curry puff featuring a delicate, melt in your mouth pastry. And the spring rolls a wonderful alternative to the standard Thai version. On our second visit last weekend I had the Boat Noodle Soup (Kuay Teow Reua). This was one of my favorite soups when I lived in Thailand and Mia Bistro’s version was perfect! Chock full of tender beef in a rich, flavorful broth. My son had Khao Soi, the Chiang Mai noodle soup with chicken in a rich broth flavored with curry. He really enjoyed it. My wife had Salmon Chu Chee which is a curry often served with duck of seafood. She absolutely loved it. We also tried the Laab Gai or chicken salad and the Som Tom or green papaya salad. Both were excellent. It’s rare a restaurant becomes an instant favorite, but Mia Thai has done just that. The service is friendly and attentive, the restaurant comfortable, and the food excellent. We will be back soon!”
“Amazing! It was love at first bite for me! And the staff is just as amazing!!”

“Went last night with some friends and had a great time. The bartender was excellent. Service was great. Food was great too. Will definitely be back but it is 30 mins away from me. Nice little arcade area in the back, a little something for everyone. Very reasonable prices on food.”
“We use to eat here at least once a week but have noticed changes the past few months. The staff is not as friendly as they use to be. The garlic knots are not nearly as good, they have been cold in the middle as if they are warming them up in a microwave. Pizza is still good but after today's visit we will have to say goodbye for a while.”
“The pepper steak, curry, and hibachi chicken were all delicious. Better than we've had in a while!
However, don't plan on eating inside like we did. They have the temperature at 84° on the thermostat. It was difficult to enjoy their tasty food while sweating buckets!”
“This Chinese restaurant in the US is such a surprise! From the moment you step into the store, you are attracted by the warm and authentic Chinese decoration style. The menu is rich and varied, with classic traditional dishes as well as innovative fusion delicacies. Every dish is delicious in color, aroma and taste. The ingredients are fresh and the cooking skills are superb. It makes people feel like they have traveled back to the streets of China and taste the taste of home. The service is impeccable, warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. Whether it's a family dinner or a get-together with friends, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended to everyone who loves Chinese food, definitely worth a try!”
“Not only does Jonny brew from the heart he lives his life leading with his heart, and it shows in everything that he does. The beer at Joco Brewing is amazing some of my favorite beers that I’ve ever had have come from his brewery so if you want a great beer, you definitely want to come but if you want to meet an all-around good person who makes great beer and gives back to the community in every way that he can…all the more reason for you to stop by. Life is about giving back and being a good person and Joco brewing shows that in everything they do so if you’ve never been I highly recommend it.”
“Amazing! Loved everything about it! Super great atmosphere! The owner was amazing and super friendly! Food was delish 🤗”

“My husband, son and myself went here for breakfast on Blackfriday. As it is a tradition for us to get up super early to hit the great deals and start our day of shopping. The staff was super nice and friendly. The food was hot and delicious. We definitely will go again.

“I came on a Wednesday morning and dined inside.
One of the first annoyances - are that if the kiosks are supppsed to save staff time and help divert flow of customer traffic - then the coupons you cut from a newspaper should somehow be utilized on the kiosk without having to go to the counter and interact with cashier.
Whether via code entry, QR code or barcode scan. I know theres a risk of scamming by unscrupulous folks but McDonalds isnt broke and they can afford to find ways to be more convienient for customers to include a more automated system so that the people working on the food can concentrate on quality, not breaking away for every customers whim.
Japan really outshines McDonalds on all fronts which is a shame when America is the country of origin for McDonalds and corporate has no invested interest in improving the quality of food or customer interactions outside of a 15 minute training video no one gives a dang about.
The next was the attitude. I really think McDonalds management in whole - does not care about the attitudes of the people they hire and how its reflected in the service. It may be an interview question, but its not meant to actually be taken seriously by any accounts when you see the level of rudeness and disrespect from these employees.
This is expressed distinctly when the cashier is smiling to himself but the second he/she thinks youre coming to the counter - or that anyone comes to the counter whatsoever - his/her face drops to a frown and he/she says rudely "What do you want".
Granted, people were doing their jobs reluctantly - with the manager explaining "We need to get our times down folks. And you need to stop playing around."
I dont think that the morning shift was as bad as night/afternoon shift. If anything at this location it appears dayshift does the cleaning from the night before because burger wrappers were being picked up and french fries under the tables at 8AM on the day I was dining there.
Night / evening management just does not seem to care.
Overall, as a fast food joint you just accept low quality food and service and McDonalds corporate is too lazy to actually instill that needed quality when the fact of the matter is, its been such an epidemic problem for so long - Americans got used to being treated like trash and with low quality service.
Dont blame these local staff. Blame McDonalds corporate that never sought to institute change or have pride in quality of product or service.
Its only about money.

“My parents and I dined at the Ruby Tuesday in Garner. Heather took care of us. She was amazing!!! I can't say enough good things about this beautiful young lady inside and out. We can't wait to go back and order our favorite, the Hickory Bourbon Salmon. Of course, we will request Heather!”

“Ordered online for a pick up order. Got home and found the chicken sandwiches were buffalo not plain as ordered. No time to make trip back for a new order as manager offered us. Jackie went above and beyond to make it right. Turned a negative into a positive. Thank you jackie.”
“I live in a town situated along US 70, waaay out on the other side of the country(Arizona). Out here for work, and setting foot in North Carolina for the first time ever. I noticed this place while passing by, saw how full the parking lot was, and decided to pop in for dinner. Had a bbq plate with pork ribs, a piece of fried chicken, collard greens, green beans, Cole slaw, hush puppies and a corn stick. For dessert I had the peach cobbler. Everything was amazing. Friendly service. Food was tasty with a “home cooked” quality about it. It’s one of those things that I just don’t experience at chain restaurants with all of the traveling I do. The bbq is eastern NC style which I’ve read uses vinegar and mustard as a base. Everything was tasty, and slightly different than what I’m used to. In a good way! I couldn’t think of a better way to bring a long travel day to a close, and if I’m ever out this way again, I’ll definitely come back!”
“They have pool tables that only cost a dollar to play They have four game machines that do give out money not like the other places, nice bar large area inside good for birthday partys meetings, etc staff is very friendly, Cindy, Sue or Susan, and the boss. They did have karaoke the night I came and wow they got some good singers.”

“The last time we recommended this food truck was back in 2022—and here we are in 2025, still coming back every week for our favorite tacos and quesadillas! The flavors never miss, the staff is always friendly, and the vibes are unbeatable. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you’re seriously missing out—go show them some love!”

“We have been driving ALL DAY and saw the sign for Five Guys and were starvin' Marvin' hungry... Went in 20 minutes before closing. Asked the cook if we would be hindering their closing and he smiled real big and welconed us in and said it would be no problem. Same with the young man who was busy cleaning up for the night. The cook recommended the patty melt and it was marvelous! Fries awesome as always. Great job, fellas! If we had a restaurant, we'd want y'all working with us, no doubt! Kudos to Dominique, Abraham and Joshua! “The renovation is stunning! The whole place feels so fresh and welcoming, and the string lights outside add the perfect cozy vibe. You can tell a lot of thought and effort went into every detail. The owners were so kind and friendly we’re excited to keep coming back, especially once the patio is all finished!”
“Visiting from out of town, my husband and I were ready for lunch. I searched “food near me”, and this restaurant was only .2 miles away. We had no experience with Peruvian food, and looked forward to a new adventure. We have no regrets. This place is amazing! We both ordered the Lomo Saltado Salvaje, beef, served with a perfectly cooked egg and delicious plantains. The stir fried tomatoes and onions tasted fresh, and the beef was sublime. The portions were huge, and we could have easily shared a plate. We washed everything down with passion fruit juice, and took a delicious dessert to go. We will make this restaurant a destination, and will drive two hours to eat here. DELICIOUS!!!”
“Met a friend for dinner because it was a convenient location. The service was great. They had no problem with a special order for food allergy. The food was prepared just right and was delicious. I got a burger to go, and they placed the bun separately so it wouldn't get soggy.
Order the sweet potato fries!

“I love the food. My favorite is the grilled salmon salad. I also Love the 100 grade rating. I didn’t rate it 5 stars because the lighting is always so dim that it’s hard to read the menu. Also, the bathroom is extremely old so always looks dirty. I only saw one bathroom and that was for both men and women. That is unusual for a restaurant.”
“We dined in. Outlet waitress was great but the food was horrible. My family and I came on 2/5/23.”

“I can’t recommend a Menchie’s birthday party enough! The cost is very reasonable and they take care of everything! I usually love to plan my kids’ birthday parties with fun decorations and food and everything, but in March we were in the middle of a move to a new town and I just didn’t have the time. Ken at Menchie’s in Garner made it so easy to pick what we wanted and the kids had a great time! Pictures with Menchie, games, face painting, and of course frozen yogurt. They’ll even do the party favors for you! The best part is they really keep the party going, introducing things at the right times to get everything in during your time. Really can’t say enough good things! Thank you!!!”
“I didn't realize how kid-friendly Red Robin was!! We loved it, our kids loved it!! It helped that we had an amazing waitress, Elle. The food was amazing and my kid ate her WHOLE burger it was so good.
Kid-friendliness: The best! They literally have towers of balloons for your child to grab one (or two 😉). Toddlers always seem to want something in each hand. And Red Robin had plenty.”
“By far this is the best cook out location around, the staff is friendly, food is always good they dont have an indoor sit down area but the outdoor area is clean. We go quite often different times & days and never encountered anything but great service. The parking lot is cramped and wonky but that's because of all the random stores packed into the area.”
“What a pleasant surprise! I was getting tires across the street and just happen upon this place. No joke, the chicken burrito I got was really great. Easily in the top 3 Mexican food trucks I visit in the entire Raleigh area. It could easily be the best, just depends on the taste you’re after at this point. Definitely try it out. Only downside now js I’ll have to fight the steering wheel every time I drive by. Thanks!”
“The food was good, but I honestly, the service was even better. Our waitress, Brittany, was patient (as it was our first time visiting), kind and welcoming. Not just her, but also other staff that we came in contact with. We will be back.”
“I tried their samosa chaat and mango lassi, loved both the things, definitely recommended to anyone who wants good Indian food in Raleigh! 10/10”
“Logan was my server. From start to finish he was very personable and attentive to detail. Checked in regularly on me but wasn’t overbearing. Food was great restaurant was clean. Will eat here again!”

“I visited CFA in Garner this week. I was truly amazed by the customer service. Ka-shi took my order and was very pleasant. On the way to the pick up window, I remembered that I forgot to replace the fries with the Mac and asked Asia ( I believe this was her name) if she could replace it. She responded with a smile and said she would take care of it! There was another young lady working along side Asia. All of a sudden (((HUNTER))) asked Asia to confiscate the kids fries…. I have never in all my visits to CFA had an employee to ask for the food to be returned…or passed back through the drive through window. I found that awkward. As I mentioned the young ladies appeared to enjoy their job! All of a sudden ((HUNTER)) demanded the third young lady to come to the office. ((HUNTER)) did not appear to bubbly, in fact she never had a smile on her face and just looked as if she was irritated with the young lady. I didn’t appreciate ((HUNTER)) treating that employee with no respect in-front of a customer. The employee didn’t waste anytime following a DEMAND. ((HUNTER )) work on your customer service and people skills. Parents check on ur children! Let’s not use authority to intimidate these young ladies!!!! Please feel free to inbox me if need be. And I forgot to add - While ((HUNTER)) was busy being rude! She forgot by daughter’s sauce for her nuggets!”

2 piece ordered a breast and a wing and received a leg and a breast! Asked dasher for extra butter and got zero. 5 pc. Mashed Potato Poppers were creamy and tasted amazing especially dipped in the gravy but they are an expensive treat for $.80 each. Love the fries that are seasoned perfectly!”
