“My girlfriend and I have been getting food from here semi-regularly since the first week they opened. Staff is always really attentive and friendly, the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, but what keeps us coming back every time is the food! We’ve tried a wide variety of dishes here and everything has been absolutely perfect. Incredible balance of flavors and generous portions with each dish, I truly can’t say enough good things about this place.“
“Bida Manda is the perfect for every single meal! We had the Tom Khem and Stir-Fried Cashew Ginger Chicken, and both were PHENOMENAL and so filling! So glad we celebrated here and cannot wait to be back!! Our server Gwen treated us like dear old friends. It's rare to visit a restaurant and feel like you've been here your whole life. It felt like I was surrounded by family and friends when I was actually in a room full of strangers. 10/10, will be here again!“
“I only had the beers here but the atmosphere was very unique and different with books everywhere, and the beers were different than any others I've had. Great place to come for just drinks if interested, but I'm sure the food is also great.“
“Such delicious small plates and wonderful drinks. Vegan options were spot on, too. My only problem is that reservations for 2 have to sit at the bar. It's not comfortable or enjoyable to sit at a backless stool. And the table behind us sat empty from 6:30-8:30. ?“
“Shanti and Traci are the BOMB!! The service was so amazing and the food was even better. I really appreciate when we stepped out off the restaurant for a few minutes, they reheated our food for us so that it was hot and fresh when we ate it. 10/10 service, will definitely be back!“
“We were traveling from out of state and were in search of the best sushi restaurant in town and definitely found it. The sushi was amazing! Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and one of the best sushi dinners we have had. We will definitely return when in town!“
“Oh my!!! I'd love to try everything on the menu after trying our first few! EVERYTHING we had was yummy! I'd give 10 stars if I could! Check it out when you're in Raleigh NC We had beef bogolgi dumplings, kimchi tots and fried pork belly!“
“This was my second time at BIBIBOP and it did not disappoint! I ordered an original bowl with a combo of sweet potato noodles and purple rice and tofu. I love the option for unlimited toppings! The portions are great and it keeps you full for a long time. The free miso soup is also a plus! Everything is super fresh and tastes amazing. Absolutely cannot wait to come back.Vegetarian options: Their only vegetarian protein choice is tofu, but you can get beans and egg as toppings!“
“Our morning at Heirloom was such a joy! We brought the kids along for breakfast, and from the minute we stepped inside, we felt right at home. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. As we dug into our meals, we couldn't help but be impressed by the delicious flavors and beautiful presentation. The staff even went out of their way to make sure the kids were happy and entertained, which made our experience even better. We left with full bellies and big smiles, already looking forward to our next visit. If you're in town with the family, Heirloom is definitely worth a visit for a wonderful breakfast outing!“
“It’s nice to have personal hotspot in Raleigh finally without driving to cart or Morrisville. I ordered the Sichuan Mala hotpot, the broth was delicious and came with great assortment of hotpot items. The hotpot container came with alcohol lamp underneath to keep the soup warm the whole time while eating it, just need to be careful if you are with young children. The portion was great for one person, it can be shared with two if you order some side dishes. The interior was nice and clean, will definitely be back soon!“
“Nestled discreetly in the heart of Eastern Raleigh, Chuan Cafe is a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered. Situated conveniently close to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Raleigh on New Bern Avenue, this quaint eatery was recommended to me by my children, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations.Upon entering, I was enveloped in a wave of nostalgia, reminiscent of cherished memories from my childhood. The ambiance exudes simplicity and warmth, with an unassuming interior design that instantly puts one at ease. It's the kind of place where you feel like you've come home, even if it's your first visit. Now, let's talk about the food - simply put, it's phenomenal. Every dish on the menu is crafted with care and precision, resulting in flavors that dance on your palate and leave you craving for more. One standout dish that stole the show for me was the beef stew soup with noodles. From the moment it arrived at the table, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma alone was enough to whet my appetite, but it was the first sip of the rich, flavorful broth that truly captured my heart. Each spoonful was a symphony of taste, with tender chunks of beef, perfectly cooked noodles, and an assortment of aromatic spices that left me utterly speechless. Even after I had finished every last drop, my mouth continued to water at the mere memory of its exquisite flavor. In addition to the beef stew soup, Chuan Cafe offers a diverse range of culinary delights to suit every palate. Whether you're in the mood for savory stir-fries, comforting noodle dishes, or tantalizing appetizers, there's something on the menu to satisfy every craving.Parking: The restaurant offers many parking spaces for its patrons.Wheelchair accessibility: It has reserved spaces for people with wheelchairs.“
“Ordered masala dosa for take out. As I didn't notice because I was taking it, they gave it without masala. The next day I went to the restaurant and before I could ask her, she said she owed me because she forgot the masala for yesterday's order. I like their service. Dosa is good, not “
“Easy street or lot parking (paid). Across from the Raleigh bus station. Nice relaxing vibe. Plenty of small plate/ app options. You can easily customize any drink. Black milk tea and strawberry tea with popping peach boba was great. Medium or small size for tea options. Tried the crab Rangoon, pop corn chicken and veggie egg rolls. All came out piping hot with complimentary sauces. I will come back here again.“
“I gotta say, I was blown away by Sushi Iwa in Clayton. Since I moved from California, I've been on the hunt for that top-notch sushi experience I thought I left behind. And wow, did I find it here! Chef Junior is a rockstar – his rolls are out of this world. They brought me right back to Cali with every bite. Not only were the rolls amazing, but they also had fresh wasabi root. I mean, fresh! I was totally not expecting that, and it was such a cool surprise. It took the whole sushi game up another notch. Chef Junior’s talent is obvious; he's putting out some seriously delicious art on a plate. And the vibe in there? So chill and friendly, just what you want when you’re about to dive into some serious sushi. So yeah, if you’re looking for that California sushi bar feel with some seriously mind-blowing tastes, hit up Sushi Iwa. You won't be disappointed. Junior and the team are serving up some serious magic. Can’t wait to go back!“
“We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly, attentive and knowledgable of mixed drinks and the menu. She offered suggestions and recommendations on the food and drinks. We visited during Happy Hour which featured half-price entrees. We ordered the mango summer rolls, crispy edamame spring rolls, crispy rice and the firecracker roll. DELISH! If you like good food, creative craft cocktails and great service, give this place a try!“
“First time we have visited this restaurant, but not the first time tasting their food. So, here goes. Quaint. Tidy, and tucked away in a college neighborhood. All great things. Was there a wait to be seated? There was not - but, that didn't mean this wasn't a great spot for dinner. Our first course was (of course) their hot soups. I had Wonton and my husband had David's Hot & Sour. So good. We ordered Jasmine tea - took awhile to steep, but isn't that always the way with tea? After soup, we had Fried Vietnamese Vegetable Spring Rolls. These were good, and we also had David's Original Half-Fried Dumplings. You get five of these big guys. We split the Sesame Chicken and Beef Lo Mein Egg Noodles. Even the steamed rice was delicious. Tender chunks of chicken in a sweet sauce with small stalks of broccoli, and the beef was tender and easy to chew. I would have to say that their portions were small. We did not take anything home with us (at other Asian places, and for the amount of money we spent, we would get a second at-home meal). Not the case here. You get fresh, hot food or average portion size, and you leave what's left (empty plates). Staff were accommodating. We were told at the time that their systems were acting slowly, so in order to process our order, everything had to be entered all at once. My husband and I are never rushed, and we don't enjoy everything coming out of the kitchen at once. However, we were informed of what they were doing to get hot food out to us. We appreciated this information. I would say, "go here and try it!" The "industrial" decor is fitting for its location. Everything is casual - even the person seating us wore jeans and sneakers. We will go back, and bring others with us.“
“Very good burrito. Definitely sat a bit heavy in my stomach after but every bite was delicious. Flavor packed for sure. I wish I got it in bowl form instead. The chips were good but my side of pico was only enough for about 2 chips. Good for larger group orders and definitely fills you up. I recommend having it as long as you have access to a bathroom.“
“One of the best, if not the best, bang for your buck downtown Raleigh lunch. For less than $11 they will stack a tray full of rice, chicken, and 2 spring rolls. Can't beat the amount of food for the price in downtown Raleigh. Also I would not give it 5 stars if it was bad food. It is pretty pretty good. Sesame chicken and general tso really hit the spot. I recommend this place.Don't order online like the bad reviews I've seen having bad experiences with that. Just walk in. It takes less than a minute to get a tray and pay“
“You WILL NOT be disappointed! Lunch is not served after 2:30...Lunch buffet close to $12 w/drink... CAN'T beat this! Small buffet...Nice little crowd ...(Gets BUSY...during the week! NO buffet on the wknd! ONLY takeout...Take out during the week, as well.“
“I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. Great flavor and the tuna wasn't fishy at all. A bit pricey but nothing insane. You can't sit down so tough to enjoy the food without having to drive somewhere else to eat. It was my first time there so I wish the staff would have been more engaging.“
“I have had Bul Box through Postmates before but yesterday was the first time I went into the restaurant to dine in. Israel was so welcoming and you can tell he really cares about the customers coming in. He gave me several recommendations from sauces to sandwiches to drinks. I got a BYOB with salmon, brown rice, avocado, corn, pickles onions. It was so delicious and fresh. The customer service alone would be enough to make me good back. Looking forward to trying a new chicken sandwich next time.“
