“Right when you walk inside this place makes an impression! It looks like Arizona dering Día de los Muertos, it feels like a dead man's party. The regular salsa is refreshing and I can never stop dipping in it. The food is so good, like the arroz con pollo, which is just like half a seasoned chicken instead of dry white meat. The enchiladas de puebla are also great. My favorite by far is the carnitas, you can't find anything like it on this side of the country. The pork is braised in beer and is just magical. And yes there is a train, and yes everyone loves it. The wait can be very very long on the weekends, but the staff are always very friendly so I never mind too much. It's not too expensive so I think it's honestly the best restaurant in Raleigh for families! They also help promote small business sometimes, like they used to sell really good chocolate for this Columbine guy. Anyway, this place is good and you must go or ELSE! Last thing, I think the restaurant has changed hands because it has gotten way better in the last couple years.Parking: The parking is actually pretty iffy. It gets packed to the point of no spots, but you can just go park in the shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There is a bar but it's mostly split from the tables. “Tracy was incredible. I came for a quick meal and she sold me on the rising dragon! Such a great recommendation that I ended up getting a second. Our food came out so fast and tasted delicious. “This was our first time at The Fiction Kitchen. I am the vegan in our house, but my husband is not and he was the skeptical one. Unsurprisingly, I loved my meal. Everything about what I had was delicious and flavorful. What was surprising is my husband's reaction - he said it was the best meal out he'd had in a very long time. Thank you for helping to show him that eating vegan doesn't mean you have to sacrifice anything. We tried the Dirty Snow (Cinnamon & Sugar), regular and gluten free donuts. Let me tell you, these are light, crispy and DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection and not oily. “We were first blown away with the ambiance. Felt like we stepped into another world. We were seated quickly. We went around 7pm on a Saturday. I'm not sure if we got lucky or not but we were able to walk right in and get seated. They do take reservations. The staff was very nice and helpful 100% of the time. My niece was with us and while they do not have a kids menu, they were prepared to concoct something that she would enjoy. Luckily, thanks to youtube, she has been wanting to try dumplings and enjoyed the Chicken & Garlic Wontons. She loved them. The food overall was delicious. They brought out an abundance of sauces and that is always a win for me because I'm the sauce Queen. I'm not sure about parking because we parked at the place we originally came downtown for earlier in the day. I did not see easy parking close by, just street parking. I recommend this restaurant for date night, trying something new, or girls night. Try it! You won't be disappointed.“
“HANDS DOWN best cinnamon bun I have ever had. The bun itself was a PERFECT consistency for a cinnamon bun while the toppings just added the extra flare. Octavia was EXTREMELY nice and helped me select my first bun to try. 100% will be returning“

“Hadn't been to YH in a long while. Was a busy Sunday afternoon so had to wait a while and waited a bit for our waitress to come but the service was great once it started and the food was very good. I had the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak...didn't eat a lot of the bread, just the toasted part.. It was delicious...as was the Cocacola chocolate dessert! I will definitely go back for those items!Parking: There are a few parking spaces right next to the restaurant but those can fill up quickly. There is a parking deck directly across from the restaurant and a couple others available of you want to enjoy a nice little walk.“
