“I was working in the area and decided to have some lunch. Hibachi 88 was right around the corner, so I placed an order using the Yelp app. I usually order Hunan Chicken, steamed rice and an egg roll when I go somewhere for the first time. I picked my order and got to work. I had a bowl with the entree, rice separated in a small box, and egg rolls in the wax pouch. The Hunan chicken had lots of chicken with just the right amount of zucchini, snap peas, mushrooms, and broccoli. Everything was quite tasty and the vegetables were cooked nicely. The rice was soft and not too sticky. The egg rolls were flaky on the outside with lots of flavorful cabbage and shrimp on the inside. All in all, it was exactly what I was hoping for. I'll be back when I'm in the area.“
“We assumed this was going to be your typical RDU sushi experience. Nope. The food here was every bit as good as what I had in Japan. We ordered several dishes to try it out (udon, tuba tartare, chirashi, and a few specialty rolls) and all of them were absolutely delicious. “Come here nearly every Monday night after the gym and no dish has disappointed! I usually go for the BOGO sushi, stir fry noodles, the Poke bowl or the ramen. Fish is fresh, prices are great and good seating too along with a nice outdoor option. It can get loud, but that never bothers me. Just a good thing to know if you want a quiet experience.“
