Staff were friendly, can’t wait til we’re cruising through again - must try when you’re in the area! They also have a food truck so you may get lucky and catch them somewhere else in the Triangle.”

The service can generally be okay, but 1 bartender really needed to suck it up and be less attitudinal and impatient with another patron on the last visit. As a witness to the whole situation, she definitely was not being hospitable or attentive to some patrons. I get it. All of us have stressful days, but you have to leave it behind for each new customer and show your best face because it isn't for you (other than tips) but for the business.”

“We just had such a wonderful experience at Waffle House! 10 New Yorkers who are stranded here in the snow showed up at once, ordered tons of food, and were met with the warmest smiles and hospitality, plus quickly delivered, absolutely delicious, reasonably priced food! They have Italian ice, soft serve, and then what they call gelati -- not to be confused as the plural of gelato; this means a mixture of both Italian ice AND soft serve. This seems to be their signature thing. You can build your own gelati by selecting flavors and toppings, or pick from a curated menu of popular combinations. We were blown away with their cleanliness, selection, prices and how awesome everything was, oh and the portions are VERY generous! The owners, Angela and Edo, were there and couldn’t have been more gracious. Did I mention they have pup cups too!!! This is now, by far, my family's favorite ice cream shop!!”

It’s the cutest location tucked away (moving soon in same building to have seating capacity and expansion! The people are the nicest! I called explaining that the cookies I bought had been so wonderful that I had to return for more, which was no problem because by the time I got there, he had me a fresh dozen that he just baked and were taking them from the oven! I had gotten the cookies for coworkers and tried a bite myself!

Let me tell you, the BEST chocolate chip cookies I ever had tasted! I’m not even a sweet’s person but these cookies taste amazing! My coworker told me that he literally was licking his cookie because it was so delicious! We also picked up some gluten free lemon blueberry scones for our pastor’s wife! I’ll be returning again once they open with seating to try out the amazing breakfast sandwiches that I’ve read about! Mmmmm Worth the trip!

Our family recently held a fundraiser/ awareness event at the GAC called Plunge for Elodie in honor of our grandson Brooks. This Plunge raised money for research into finding a treatment/ cure for a rare disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. About 40 people came to Steel Hands Brewery afterwards to enjoy delicious pizza. Royal and Thomas were great!! They featured a “Plunge Pilsner” and donated a dollar from every beer sale to our donation goal and put us OVER OUR GOAL!! Thank you!”

“I spoke with Ray a week before my group had lunch at Cafe Past. Ray explained what he could offer my group and what he would provide. When we arrived we loved the ambience of the restaurant. Ray provided us with an amazing waitress. She attended to our every need. They treated us like Royalty. The food was amazing. We were satisfied with the price of this food as well. We will definitely return and recommend this wonderful restaurant to others.

“We eat there at least twice a month. Service is hit or miss. ALWAYS call ahead and get on the wait list (online). I've seen people actually leave angry because it appears that others just arrived and they're seated while parties who've waited for 30 minutes aren't seated. It seems the remedy would be to at least tell them about the wait-list so they can add themselves or let Longhorn manually add them to the wait list. The service is usually pretty good although they can be forgetful if they're busy. I suggest getting your order down pat first and try not to add on new things. And if your waiter/waitress isn't writing it down, be prepared to be disappointed. The food is the reason we keep coming back. I can't remember a time that the food itself wasn't above average. We've had wings missing from an order but the wings we got were perfect. One of the few places where a well done steak isn't tough. They can even put a little char on the salmon without bringing you a pink hockey puck.
Parking: During their busy hours, good luck in finding someone backing out of their space. Sometimes we park in the shopping center next door.”

“My husband and I love Aunt E’s Southern Cuisine! The owner really came through for us with a large order at the last minute during the NCA&TSU Homecoming celebration last weekend. We needed food for 10 people and the other soul food restaurants we called laughed at us and said there was no way they could help us on the Thursday before Homecoming! We talked with Aunt E herself, and she worked with us and let us know what dishes she could prepare. We called her at noon and the food was ready by 4:00pm. When we went to pick up the food, it was hot and ready just in time for our guests who were scheduled to arrive by 5:00pm. It was our first time in the restaurant, and we noticed a friendly ambience and beautiful banquet room. We also met her husband, daughter, and other relatives. We are so grateful for her willingness to help us. And to top it all off, the food (cabbage, sweet potato casserole, sautéed spinach, and jollof rice), was delicious! Everybody loved it! We give this business our highest rating and appreciation!
Parking: Parking is available right in front of the restaurant and the parking lot is large with lots of available parking.”

Building and signage is a bit older and kind of old school but do not let the outside stop you from going inside and enjoying a large menu. Dine in and carry out. “Stopped on our way from the mountains, convenient location just off the highway, down from the convention center. Really fun vibe with bright colors and good music playing.
