“I really enjoyed my time this evening at this beautiful establishment. Tara and Alice were excellent hostesses and they both had made me feel welcomed to enjoy my first experience here. Tara even helped me take photos at the Photo Booth area while I was there and told me about the owners accomplishments so my overall experience was amazing even on a cold and rainy day. It has a sophisticated vibe and amazing R&B hits had me singing during my time there. I would highly recommend this Queen’s business any day.“

“One of the best restaurants in Greensboro! It doesn't get the attention it deserves in my opinion. The food is always amazing and super tasty, the craft cocktails are exquisite and there are so many to choose from! We love the truffle fries, fried chicken and the hamburger mac n cheese was drool worthy. The bartenders there know how to make a great cocktail! The service is always good, the food comes out in a timely manner and the ambiance is great, very much a cool vibe. If you haven't tried 1618 midtown; you're definitely missing out on some amazing food and drinks!“

I shared appetizers with my friends that were simply amazing. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, and it was phenomenal! For dessert, I had the Black Forest Cake, which was excellent. I can’t wait to return. Thank you, Chef, for the chocolate!“

“My crew was enjoying the temporary ice skating rink downtown when I needed to warm up a bit. I walked over to Lawn Service located beside LeBauer Park. I ordered a hot chocolate at the bar. The bartender was super nice. She took my order right away and I received my drink quickly. The hot chocolate was very good. Just the right amount of chocolate and texture. Yum! It came in one size and it was a bit small, but it was tasty and was good enough for my visit. If I stayed longer, I would love to have a bigger cup. If you don't sit at the bar, there are tables between the two restaurants or you can sit on a bench along Davie St or closer to the park. I will definitely visit this location again. They had a great selection of beer and wine. Their menu also had a selection of baked goods (waffles, cookies). Stop by! Great addition to our downtown area.“

“Great service! It was hard to narrow down what to order for dinner. Everything on the menu sounded wonderful. The fried cauliflower and assorted cheese plate were both tasty choices for appetizers. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended location for a date night or large party. They were reasonably busy for a late Friday evening with several large parties on the floor but our food was timed perfectly. We were in and out in an hour. We need to check out their brunch soon!“

“I truly enjoyed my first time here . The people and setting make it a great hang out spot . James was my server and he was great. He guided me through the wine list, recommended some great wines all while still taking me out of my comfort zone a little. (I’m not a red wine person but the Pinot 10/10.) I had the dip as a snack and it was so good, the hint of citrus really did it for me . I recommend this place for a date night, girls night any night really .“

“The chef here is from Northern Italy and has the culinary chops to prove it. Italy is my favorite foodie destination anywhere because each region boasts its own amazing flavors! I had the lasagna to get a baseline as a first timer here. The ragu Bolognese was world-class and had that punchy fresh tomato flavor you can only get with amazing tomatoes like San Marzanos! The texture of the pasta layers was velvety and tender and perfectly cooked! Just melts in your mouth with each bite! Truly wonderful!!! My friend tried the fettucine with mushrooms and said it was outstanding as well! Looking fwd to many more visits exploring the rest of the menu. Waiter was friendly & attentive and even came out to pet my poodle waiting in the car as we left! Just an enjoyable dinner with a friend & great Italian food! Ambiance is cozy and not pretentious like you'd expect from a neighborhood osteria or trattoria in Italia! Molto bene!!!“

“I work on restaurants in Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. I have worked in hundreds of them in Florida also. What continues to impress me about this restaurant is the cleanliness of the Kitchens! The new owners are continuing to keep this place amazing. I continue to recommend this restaurant to others based on the quality of the food, great service, and the cleanliness of the kitchen, this is a rare combination!“
