“The best setting ever with the Eno River south of a great lawn with a covered patio north of a great lawn with a beautiful room for eating and drinking north of the great patio and always a different food truck out by the parking lot. My first trip there made me feel in place with the aesthetic as above-mentioned and the whole way it was taken care of with great bands place for dancing, place for sitting place for drinking place for eating and obviously shared opinion of the place as I saw all the people – many friends – who were picnicking on the great lawn or eating on the multiplicity of great patio tables and indoor chairs. Nobody came around to force me to feel I needed to pay for a drink. But that made me feel more generous. Although there were lots of alcoholic choices, I walked up to buy a turmeric, herb drink. They really knew how to do it.❤️”

“9/14/24 lunch… what a wonderful find! Our server was very nice. Our food was delicious. The portions were very good. I had the Caesar salad with the salmon from my spouse’s seafood platter. The Caesar salad and salmon were great! Spouse‘s seafood platter (scallops, shrimp and salad) was done perfectly. He raved over the thousand island dressing (which is made in-house). The scones were so yummy that we bought six to take home! An overall wonderful experience! Note that the restaurant is upstairs… the setting is lovely!”

“Good morning, picked up two Cinnamon Buns this morning and got educated on the coffee press from Kim 😋❤. I have an upcoming Birthday in a few days and a Cinnamon Bun is what I wanted. It was delicious I had mine sans the icing but hubby had his with icing. As he was eating his he said I Love this Cinnamon Bun and I don't even like them, Wow. He's a donut person. My CB was delicious not overly sweet, moist w/ the right amount of Cinnamon, great baking Kim and staff. They were very accommodating as I asked for some Cinnamon to go into my coffee. I highly recommend this Bake shop to anyone looking for morning pick-me-up, it's well worth the visit. Hometown flavor at it's BEST!!!”

“The restaurant was clean and the employees were attentive and friendly. The only things that I did not like was that they do not have string beans like many of the other chains and I was unpleasantly surprised that the white sausage gravy that goes on biscuits is used as the gravy for the mashed potatoes instead of brown gravy?! Please change that.”

I get the all beef combo German style with sauerkraut mustard and relish. Worth the money for a quick decadent lunch. Fries are always crispy enough.
