“My husband and I had 3 appetizers and the crème brûlée. Every bite was delicious. We had the lollipop lamb, oysters Rockefeller, and poutine. We enjoyed the lamb so much, we ordered it a second time. While so much on the menu looked great, we only had the appetizers and closed out with the crème brûlée (also delicious). We sat at the bar, but took note of the general ambiance and found that it would work well for couples or families. We will definitely include a meal here on our next OBX trip.”

“What a great experience!! We were a party of 9 including 2 kids and each of us had different meals and they all were great!!! All the food came out hot and all our orders were correct! Marissa, our waitress, was awesome!! She didn’t skip a beat with her service!! Every year when we come we stop and eat at a different restaurant before our check in and we all decided this is our new stop every year!”

“As someone who is half Sicilian originally from NY who grew up eating real Italian food her whole life.. walking into this restaurant smelled like walking into my grandmas kitchen on a Sunday. I’ve been wanting to try this place for years and finally last night for Valentine’s Day me and my boyfriend got to try it. Everything looked so good. The fried ravioli and spinach ball appetizers were amazing. He got shrimp scampi & I got the lasagna, it was incredible, their sauce is so good. Big portions, great prices & Parmesan cheese on every table which is a huge plus for me. I finished with a cannoli & cappuccino. We will absolutely be making the hour trip frequently from here on out.”

“Hurricane Mo's - my new favorite tiki bar! The outdoor tiki bar located upstairs is absolutely fabulous! Live music, great drinks, amazing food, and stellar views - what more could you ask for? The live guitarist on Sunday was superb! He really took us back to the tropics! Bobbi at the bar was fantastic, friendly, and very accommodating! Started with a key lime margarita - WOW, so amazing - even my beer drinkin mate loved it! Best of all, the food was amazing! The food used to be good, but now it's great! Miss Anne's Chicken Sandwich - WOW -a huge meaty piece of chicken and french fries. If the waiter asks if you want the special cheese topper - the answer should always be YES! It was amazing! We also got the fresh salsa, queso, and chips! WOW! Homemade chips and salsa, what could be better! To end this culinary delight, we chose to get a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie! My, oh my! Just fantastic! I beg you not to come here - only because then we can enjoy it more! ;)”

“Took my nieces and nephew here for some lunch and it exceeded our expectations! We visited obx from Richmond, VA which has some great pizza so we didn’t expect much but we were impressed with how good the pizza was here. I would say the pizza is between a Pizza Hut pizza and a papa John’s pizza but has a homemade feel to it! We got to try pepperoni and cheese and also had two orders of their chicken wings which my husband thought was very good. They also had a $10 pizza buffet which includes all you can eat pizza with a fountain drink. They have some indoor seating as well as outdoor seating and there is parking out front. Would recommend and would come back!”

“Tried the Black Pelican for lunch during our November vacation. Nice atmosphere, good service and we loved story behind the name. Food was pretty good. Enjoyed the Hatteras style clam chowder. We didn't try them but the desserts looked wonderful. Also had a gift shop with BP and OBX things. I even found a hot air balloon puzzle box which was amazing!.”

“Came during the off season, but was a recommendation from the Wild Horse Adventure Tours. The caesar salad was large portion, could definitely split for 2 people. My 11 yr had the classic cheeseburger which he loved said it was not overcooked and great. My husband and I had fish/shrimp and chip platters, nice portion sizes, delish cocktail sauce to dip. Staff was very friendly and service wsa perfect, a hidden gem for sure.”

“This is by far the best place I have found to get Indian food near me living on the outer banks we know we are limited knowing this place is here has put me and my family at ease eating here and having take away has made us very happy with the food. The people go above and beyond to make sure you are cared for and please with what you have gotten. Thank you for not making me cook food every night lol! We will definitely be back as we’ll hopefully be there to dine in soon! The items can be vegan or meat or even dairy free having a son who is allergic and have celiac disease they aid to it his problems and it makes me feel so happy knowing we have food close by to care for all my family needs !”
