“** Long Post Warning** OOHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOODDDDDDD! Outside of Texas I have never had such delicious barbecue. The brisket will have you crying like a baby and the I house made pimento cheese sausage is crazy! The bbq rice is perfect and the pork bbq is ridiculous and flavor packed to the last bite. The whole staff is pretty much Military Veterans and you can see and hear them working together to make sure service is quick and seamless. The best barbecue place in NC hands down. Each year he honors active duty and military veterans with free food for the whole family. Most places that do military meals only give it to the military person and it's usually a lunch size portion of 3-4 options on a limited menu. Not at Prime. You get the same options and portions for free as you would if you paid. I have a family of 6 so imagine what kind of bill we usually have. To have that paid for and get the quality of food we get is mind blowing. Prime has a special table that can be reserved by veterans or active duty that seats 8-10 people and it's awesome. The owner Christopher Prieto is the most genuine and humble man on earth. My wife sat down to eat one day and he seen my Navy Veteran shirt. He asked me if he could sit down and thanked me for my service and just started talking to me and my wife like we knew each other all our lives. I knew I seen his face before and then I realized he was on Food Networks Chopped in the barbecue championship representing NC. My family is a family of faith and so is he. He talked to us about how God gave him his vision and his purpose for the restaurant and how he uses proceeds to help veterans and families in need have meals and basic necessities as his way of showing the love of the Lord. I cannot say enough about this place. My wife and I go every chance we get.“
“Overall Rating: 4.7/10This establishment boasts a fresh and newly renovated appearance, offering a mix of satisfactory and disappointing dining experiences. While the ambiance is inviting, the food's quality varies significantly from dish to dish.Atmosphere: 7.1/10The clean, unique, and appealing renovation contributes positively to the atmosphere. Wall art and a thoughtful layout enhance the dining experience, making it visually engaging and fresh.Service: 6.7/10Service at the front is pleasant, with staff showing genuine care and engagement. The ordering process is straightforward, although the menu's breadth could be overwhelming for some. The staff's attentiveness and respectful demeanor underscore a commitment to customer satisfaction.Food:BBQ Sandwich Pulled Pork: 2.1/10The pulled pork's lackluster appearance and dull color detract from its appeal, even though the concept of pairing it with coleslaw is well-intentioned.Pulled Pork Plate: 3.3/10While the taste of the pork was acceptable, the presence of bones and cartilage necessitated caution with every bite, diminishing the overall enjoyment. The absence of BBQ sauce in the takeout bag was a notable oversight.Coleslaw: 4.1/10The coleslaw was average in taste, suffering only from a visual standpoint that didn't invite anticipation.Baked Beans: 4.4/10An utterly average side dish, reminiscent of standard canned baked beans, lacking the homemade quality that could elevate the dish.Chicken Wings: 6.1/10A highlight of the meal, these wings were well-cooked, crispy, and notably better than average, distinguished by their crispness.Value: 5.1/10At $45 for three meals, the value proposition is a mixed bag. The chicken wings seem to justify their portion of the cost, while the pulled pork dishes fall short, reflecting a hit-or-miss experience.“
“I’m in here all the time, because it’s a nice homely atmosphere and the waitresses are always super sweet. I speak especially for Ashley, because she is always working hard, always super sweet and kind, friendly, and makes an effort to be all of this even during the night rush and serving all day. She deserves respect and kindness in return, and a tip is well earned.“
“Absolutely outstanding food. The ribs fell off the bone and were incredibly flavorful even without the sauce. but the pernil and black beans... I could probably eat those everyday for the next year and not get tired of those. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and incredibly well cooked. Cannot recommend highly enough!“
“This was fun experience and the food was amazing! Portions were good for minimal waste and there were lots of sauce options for cooking. We opted to get the Hot Pot and the BBQ, but you can certainly pick one or the other. We will definitely be going back! Also our waitress Sam was very attentive we enjoyed her service!“

“An outstanding Asian cuisine restaurant. We believe it is the best in the area. We have been there numerous times to try different menu items. All have been outstanding. The menu is extremely large and almost overwhelming. The outstanding service personnel can help you navigate the menu if asked. We will continue to go back to try different menu items. Don't be afraid if the parking lot seems empty. They do a very large pickup service.“
“I loved the smoked turkey leg were the best. That's what husband got stuffed with collard greens and mac and cheese. I got wings and fries. Which I did enjoy. They let me sample the sides. The yams were way too sweet, and I love sweet potatoes. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. The turkey legs are only available Thurs-Sunday.Parking: The restaurant wasn't busy so there was plenty of parking. They also have a drive-thru.“
“My son found this place, and we loved it. Yiu walk in and the delicious barneque is smell of meat and sauce take over your sences. It's quaint and has a small outdoor area where you can enjoy your meal. We had the chicken Caesar (wayyyy to much grated cheese) salad, BBQ chicken sandwich and fries, half rack ribs, a couple of sodas, and a beer. I would have given the food 5 stars, but the salad had so much cheese it was not edible. We did take the chicken out and onto a separate plate and finished it and left the rest. We will be back!Parking: Just pull up and there is plenty of space“
“Solid BBQ, one star off because I feel they're skimpy on the meat portions. I ordered the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs. Received 1-1/2 slices of brisket and 2 ribs. The baked beans were terrific and the mac & cheese was very good. Great staff also.“
