“Now I found cool little coffee shop on my getaway to Carolina Beach. The cost was higher than Starbucks but the peanut butter patty and bombdigity drink were really good. But with the cost rising in this environment I could not drink here everyday. Still very nice coffee. ?“

“Absolutely incredible restaurant, the service is fantastic, the food is wonderful and fresh, the drinks are amazing and it is well lit and has a good atmosphere. We got the seafood dip, mussels, ciabatta bread, and Alfredo pasta. There was so much food we will be enjoying it for days to come.HIGHLY RECOMMEND, worth the drive from Carolina Beach or any surrounding areas. You will be very pleased!!!“

“Malama is our favorite coffee shop in Carolina Beach! We've visited several times over the last couple of years. Great tasting coffee. Not the burnt stuff you get other places. Breakfast options are great. Very filling burrito. Great place to grab coffee and then take a short walk to the boardwalk and beach.“

Nicole, former owner and lead bartender at Shagri La, has done an incredible job creating an upscale experience right on the Carolina Beach boardwalk. Tastiest cocktails in CB!“

“Didn't have food. Drinks were on the expensive side. You do have to pay a $2 entry fee (ownership club thing). But the spot is awesome, the band was good. Inttend to go back.Parking: Friday night was packed. Parking a few blocks away is what we did. It was fine.“

“We went here for our 5 year anniversary and really enjoyed our experience. The waitress was super friendly and paced our meal out perfectly.Just about every meal comes with a salad and side. You get a wipeable paper to write down what you'd like on your salad and it's catered towards your taste buds.We got a bottle of wine and each got steak, his was a ribeye and I opted for prime Rib. Our steaks were prepared the right way and when we were done, the waitress boxed our dinners for us. I was very impressed with our level of fine dining. They even signed a card for us and that made our evening. We both enjoyed this experience and look forward to celebrating here again soon.“

It's hard to find places with good quality vegan ice cream treats (or any vegan options at all, for that matter) and I was really happy to have multiple choices here! I sampled peach and salted caramel, both amazing!! Ended up going with the salted caramel. Staff was friendly and quick despite it being a really busy night with the fireworks and whatnot.“

“We live locally so we come here A LOT, especially in the off season. Off-season this is the place to be because they do pumpkin patches for the kiddos and a Christmas Tree lot. On-season the quality of food/service is still there and their kid-friendliness keeps us coming back, especially the sturdy baby changing stations and the wide variety of high chairs available for low tables and high tables. All in all we are impressed and pleased with the changes. When we come to eat we LOVE the BABLT and the Burger.“

“We just had a long day of getting ready for our trip and driving out to the beach, walking around the boardwalk with the kids, etc and the dinner we ordered from hang ten take out was awesome!! The burger was cooked exactly the way I requested, still warm and the serving size was huge! I’m so full! And my husband loved his grilled chicken sandwich! That was an awesome dinner! Thanks y’all for making our first meal here awesome!“

“We went for lunch twice on our recent visit to Southport/Oak Island. The peel n eat shrimp were very good quality and flavorful, plenty of old bay in the sauce. Wife had the Mahi Sandwich special that was really good. You HAVE to get the crab dip!!! Absolutely amazing. Fish n chips I'd made with Haddock which was a nice touch. They also have sweet potato fries. Sit outside on the dock if you can and enjoy the amazing view of the water and boats drifting by. This place is great.“

“I know Island Bagels has some pretty stellar Yelp reviews already so I won't bore you by talking about how delicious the bagel of the day was yesterday or how well constructed the breakfast sammy is though both are absolutely true. Instead, let's talk accessibility. My wife and I ran to Island Bagels and were pretty, pretty hungry when we arrived. I walked in wearing my super cool, reflective running vest that says "blind" on the front and had notable difficulty reading the chalkboard menu. After taking a moment to process the situation, Island Bagels employees swung into action, grabbing and sharing one of their freshly printed menus so I didn't have to struggle to read from a distance. It was awesome and very much appreciated. Too often, when people notice others struggling with accessibility challenges, they freeze up and fail to check in to see if an assist would be appreciated. I should also say that staff had some wonderful and delicious suggestions like swapping out fries for hashbrowns so my sandwich could smoosh down more efficiently and better fit into my gaping maw. Smart! Keep it up. Y'all are the real MVPs.“
