“We’ve eaten here three times in last two weeks. It’s the closest restaurant to our home and we love the atmosphere here. Greg and Josie have been our servers and both are friendly and knowledgeable. We love the station burger and wedge salad but we also love shrimp and grits and the recent bourbon chicken special.”

“A local family owned and operated coffee & ice cream shop. Great selections of coffee, ice cream and pastries. Also has a gift shop. Wonderful and welcoming service. A very nice experience for my family of 4.”

“I stopped here to replenish calories after a long hard day hiking in the backcountry chasing waterfalls. What a great decision! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The patio has a great view overlooking a waterfall. Service was great as well. I ordered the Apollo Jalisco , excellent dish. The salsa was fresh and delicious.”

“This is a nice little Italian restaurant tucked away near the mountains not too far away from a lot of waterfall attractions and scenic overlooks.Food was really good and fresh, I just wanted to say thank you to the staff that was there. That accommodated us an hour before closing! We Came from the Charlotte Metro area to go to the shadow of the bear scenic overlook. After we were done we came by around 7:00 to get some food before we packed up. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for pizza or any pasta dish. Prices are a little on the heavier side. I will admit but can't complain considering it's probably one of the best spots in the area!The Baked Penne and Meatballs were fantastic and I wished I had a bigger appetite for the pizza!!”

“We stopped into the Panther Cafe for a late lunch today. It was absolutely delicious. I chose the BLT with fries. It was the perfect southern bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. The bread was toasted to perfection, the bacon was crispy, the veggies were fresh, and it was topped off with just the right amount of Duke's mayonnaise! My fries were hot and crispy. The little restaurant is quaint - made of large logs, with a vaulted ceiling, and gorgeous hardwood floors. The seating area is an eclectic blend of mismatched farmhouse tables. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and efficient. If you're looking for casual food done well, this is the perfect little restaurant.”

“I don't travel much but when we do we love eating in mom and pops shops and I personally must say this one was one of the best Dinners I have ever had , Fresh nice size biscuit and gravy , home fries was amazing and flavorfull , I am very picky with restaurants coffee but their coffee was really good I took one to go . What an amazing experience I love food and this a place I would recommend great service great people and amazing food.”

“We just held our wedding reception there...it was off-season, so they didn't require we pay to reserve the whole taproom. They had a table ready for our food, a beautiful sign welcoming my new bride and myself, and tables ready for our party. There were a few others there, not with our party, but we enjoyed inviting them to take part in the festivities. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It was perfect for the small laid-back reception that we wanted.”

“Loved our dinner. The only glitch was initially after being seated it took them a long time to take a drink order. The restaurant wasn't super busy but they were more attentive to their larger parties. We had to reach out to ask someone to come over. After that our service improved and we had a fabulous meal and lovely dining experience.”
