“This place is amazing. We were seated on the 2nd floor. Our waiter was great and very attentive. The food was delicious. My wife and I got these 2 dishes. My mom got the calamari app which was amazing and my daughter had "the best burger ever", The bartender really enjoyed making an oyster shooter so order as many as you want? . Again great place to eat and the view is outstanding!“

“My wife and I have been road tripping up the east coast and went to this brewery twice during our stay in OBX. Both bartenders, the man the first night and the woman the second day were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. One of the owners stopped in during our daytime visit and she was absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Even the other patrons were so talkative and nice to us. The beers are delicious and the people are excellent and I wish I could rate this place even higher! Absolutely recommend!“

“I'd like to give this place a 3.5 but it's trying to make it and I know it's hard here on the OBX. Looking for a new restaurant since our local favorite seems to have gone downhill we came across the fantastic reviews here at Mahi Mahis and were actually excited to try it. Maybe we got our expectations pretty high... The place is nice, no reservations, and the servers are friendly but the food was just OK. There wasn't anything memorable about our meal, the best part was the children's chicken tenders. The cocktails were city prices and WAYYY too sweet. I'm a big shrimp and grits fan so I obviously knew what I was ordering when I saw "Award Winning" and my wife and I can't help but wonder what that award was. We ended up splitting her Mahi Mahi Ruben, what felt like the best deal of what we ordered and it desperately needs acid to brighten if up. A bill of $100 for 2 adults with one cocktail each and an app. This place is newish and obviously looking to please the most people but we weren't impressed and it reminded us why we tend to eat at home even on vacation.“

“I visited here in October on vacation with my husband for lunch. The food was very good. For entrees, I got blacken grilled fish tacos. However, the star of the show for me were the shrimps! I especially enjoyed the 1/2 lb of shrimp we had for an appetizer. The seasoning was on point! I could have eaten that as a meal. We will definitely be back and order more shrimp next time! Pro Tip: If you get lost easily like me the entrance to the restaurant may be a little confusing as there is gift shop before the restaurant seating. The host counter is on the left side of the building before you past the gift shop. The host will take you past the gift shop to sit.“

“This was our second visit to the Beachside Bistro - once in October, and again in late November. We found the food to be excellent! We did breakfast in October and brunch in November. The breakfast burrito (a regular breakfast item) and a selection from the new brunch menu - smoked, pulled pork over fried grit cakes with bourbon bbq sauce are our favorites so far! This hidden gem is well worth a visit!“
