“Wife and I felt like seafood but wanted to kick back at home and get take out. We have eaten at Blue before and really enjoyed the experience, so we ordered curbside pick up and was given an estimate of 30 minutes. I arrived early and was met curbside immediately by the hostess and we took care of the payment, she said the food would be right out. Shortly after the food was brought out to me within 20-25 minutes of my call in order. Once home we found the meal perfectly packaged and prepared. The crab soup was as great as we remembered in the restaurant as were the other food (blackened Rockfish, Scallops, and Crab Cake combo, and wife had the Seafood Bellehaven combo (shrimp, scallops, and crab cake with a cheese topping). Normally when you do takeout the quality suffers a bit, but not with Blue Seafood. The dishes were delicious and filling. Highly recommend.“

“Wow the food was soo AMAZING!!!!! I was in town from Texas for my niece Cheer Competition and we visited Hot Tuna because they had great reviews and was open til 1:30am. This was on a Saturday evening after the Competition. We had the Shrimp Risotto, fresh spinach and my baby nieces had burger and fries and Mac n cheese. It was sooo good that we looked to see if they had any locations in Texas. Smiling!!!! This should definitely be your choice!!!“
“Mermaids in Virginia Beach is a lot of fun!! Went in there the other night with some friends and the girls were so friendly, they made us feel right at home. They were amazing to watch! I was told they are getting ready for the Pole and Floor show competition on Saturday, May 18th. I think that's worth going to just from what I saw. The specials were fantastic and the menu was great for either a late night snack or a quick lunch. The music was good, kept everyone upbeat and the security was visible, but not over imposing, and that made everyone comfortable. Can't wait to go back and drag a few more friends out! Of course I would feel comfortable walking in there alone for a drink and a snack :)“

“I learned something new tonight! When ordering unusually food, a Pinot noir is a safe bet for wine. So what wine goes with hot honey jalapeño chiccarones and Brussels sprouts? Pinot noir! It was perfect. The Brussels were good, but the chiccarones…just get them! I don’t have the words to declare the deliciousness! I travel for work, so often eat at the bar. The bar seating was impeded by a post. Solution…Grab a high top instead of a bar seat.“
“While travelings from Texas for family business, I was able to take some time and visit this brewer. This was the fourth brewery I visited. I have been brewing for over ten years and when I travel, I do my best to stop into the local breweries. One the name caught my attention. My family is in law enforcement and I am a paramedic. It was nice and I was felt welcomed. The beer was great and staff friendly. Set up had it's own uniqueness. It is nice to see a brewery dedicated to those who serve and served. “My husband and I had been out Christmas shopping and we were ready to drop. Coming up the rear of the mall we saw the new chophouse and we thought let’s go try it. I couldn’t be happier that we did. It was very lively as it was Christmas. But all that absolutely went completely out of my mind when I was served the most incredibly impeccable lobster bisque. It was served so delicately, and in a way I’ve never seen, but the taste was out of this world. There was a place in Los Angeles called ‘hamburger hamlet’ and they used to have the best bisque. in the United States lobster bisque. They now have arrival. The stake arrived fork tender. I did not have to use a knife, although it was served with an exquisite one, the steak was just amazing , the only complaint I had with it was that the béarnaise sauce, that I ordered on the side, was cold and hard. Definitely not the way béarnaise sauce should be served. My husband eats his meat like shoe leather! His steak came out still juicy AND tender!!, still wonderful and he can’t wait to go back. I had a Pepsi to drink and my husband had two beers and our tab was $145 so it is pretty pricey,but completely worth it.“
“Beachy Beautiful inside. I absolutely love the colorful umbrellas over the tables. Makes it feel like summertime. Even during the winter it has that summer vibe. It's wonderful. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Easy to sign up and on a busy Saturday we only waited 10 minutes before getting a court for Shuffleboard. Then if you have never played (like us) they give you a nice lesson and tell you to make a few practice shots. Now lets get to the food. We got sliders, wings, waffle fries, and a hummus tray. All of it came out fast and wonderful. The sliders were perfect in every way and the perfect size. Wings had alot of flavor, they are finger licking good. Ok, you know I got a cocktail. Bahama Mama was excellent and a really good size, I highly recommend all the food and definitely order a drink. YUMMMM. Everything was wonderful. Happy staff, great location, tasty food and wonderful drinks. I can't wait to go back. I was the big winner By The Way. This is a must if your in the Virginia Beach area. Or make a special trip because it is worth it. It is such a GREAT time.“
“I went to Drag Yourself to Brunch. The service was outstanding, the food was top-notch, and of course the entertainment was a blast! Our group of 4 ordered 2 appetizers and another appetizer or meal each. The portion sizes were generous. We ended up taking food home. I was quite impressed with the service. It looked like a small number of servers in a packed dining area, but they all went above and beyond. They really know what they're doing. The customers just as much fun. 10/10 will go back.“
“As beer bars go in this area lynnhaven pub is honestly such a treat. The beer selection is enormous. “My boyfriend and I visited for dinner last night and absolutely loved the surf & turf tacos! The service was excellent as well - the staff were friendly and the food was brought quickly. Portions were big, so we each brought a taco home. He also enjoyed his perfect patrone margarita - I got a different one I didn’t care for as much, but they had a generous amount of alcohol. Next time I’ll try a frozen beverage, as they looked delicious.“
“We had quite an entertaining dining experience here. When we arrived there was live music being performed by a passionate pianist/violinist with unique musical selections. Though we made prior reservations, and with the restaurant fairly open, we were still sat by the bathrooms, away from the live music and most other patrons. We were served by a very kind and talkative server, who was knowledgeable but a little intense. The food was flavorful and rich and the wine paired nicely. We had plenty of food leftover to take home as well. At times we did feel a bit out of place by the looks of the more experienced groups. This of course is no fault of the establishment but something to consider for diverse patrons. Overall a good date spot.“

“Hemingway's is a great place for a quiet meal. it is located inside the Holiday Inn on Atlantic Avenue at 21st street. Admittedly I was a little skeptical at first becuase it is in a hotel. If that is a concern for you, don't let it be. The food was some of the best that we have had anywhere and to top it all off the view of the ocean was amazing. My wife and I were really glad we chose Hemingway's and will be back again. The wait staff was great they were very friendly and wanted to make sure that we were enjoying our time with them. When you go get the Molten Chocolate Chip Cookie. Great experience!“

It's as if you stepped in to a mash up of "In Living Color" and "Cheers" in real life when you go there; the older regulars in their 60s, 70s, and 80s are playing Drake and Young Dolph on the jukebox while the younger regulars in their 20s and 30s are playing Elvis, the Isley Brothers, James Brown, Eric Clapton and Tom Petty on it. They have tvs all over the place, so no matter where you're sitting, you'll always have a clear view of a tv. There's also a golden tee machine and a pinball machine, and they have a dart board and a foosball table as well. Their food is excellent too, and very reasonably priced. They even bread and batter their flounder and shrimp fresh per order, not ahead of time like most restaurants do. Their drinks aren't priced high either; $4 draft or bottled domestics, $5 for imports, $6 for well drinks and Fireball, and $7-$8 for top shelf. They run different or drink specials from Sunday to Thursday every week too.Vegetarian options: The cooks will modify any menu item to make it vegetarian or pescetarian if that particular item is able to be made without meat or with seafood instead.Parking: Parking lots in front and back.Kid-friendliness: Booster seats are available, and customers under 21 are allowed in the restaurant until 10 pm.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap access ramp right at the front door.“

“I have been going to the pub weekly for over 17 years. If you leave hungry, then it's on you :*) The Oyster Rockefeller is the best ever. The steamed shrimp with old bay are great. are The Sunday omelet is always changing and is a great brunch choice along with the biscuits and gravy over grilled biscuits. The blackened tuna bites are a awesome. The burgers are massive and cooked to order. I have never had a bad meal here. Mary, Lindy, and Chrystie are like family and have watched my children grow up.
