“I happened into Nonna Maria's by accident, and I'm very happy about it. It is a small Italian market and deli. I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sandwich, and it is much better than the one I make for myself at home. The staff is friendly, and the store is very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone.“
“There's some stuff on the menu that is great, some stuff not so much. Not a huge fan of their wings or pizza. On the other hand, they make excellent burgers and sandwiches. Service is impeccable and the bar is a throwback. Definitely worth visiting.“
“Definitely the best sandwich shop in Charlotte. Their daily specials are unique and allow you to order something a little different from your norm and if you’re feeling a classic, their breakfast sandwiches are amazing as well.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free and vegan options“
“My wife and I are pastrami lovers. We moved from around New York area and missed a good pastrami. We’ve been looking for a good pastrami place in charlotte area. My wife found Katz deli on line and we decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, let me tell you our experience. We each took 1/2lb pastrami without knowing how good it was going to be. What a great decision we made. The taste was amazing and mouth watering. It was that good. The staff were so amazing. It took a minute late to get my order but it was worth it bc they made fresh rye bread. The girl who took care of the order kept me updated that they’re waiting for the fresh bread as I ordered more rye bread. While I was waiting I saw more repeat customers coming in. The place was packed. Next I’m going to try corned beef. My hats off to the owner. Please keep up the great job you’re doing. ?“
“As a vegetarian this is by far my favorite breakfast place in Charlotte. Great people, quaint little area, and incredible food. From their breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, hash brown, and vegan sausage on their house Bolilo or the vegan buffalo chix sandwich with house ranch, as well as the great smoothies and coffee....this place rocks.Vegetarians/Vegans in Charlotte, NC who have not had a chance to step in and have a bite in the cozy atmosphere with the great owner/staff are missing out big-time!Vegetarian options: Plentiful, and delicious!Dietary restrictions: Very catering to all needs, as all items seem quite customizable with many substitutes available across the board!Parking: Plentiful, and easy!Wheelchair accessibility: Oof, this is the one and only place where I am uncertain as someone who does not use a wheelchair...the interior seating areas are rather cramped, and I barely can walk between tables (e.g. to/from the condiment area or from the ordering area to tables/bar by the window) without turning sideways. There are outside tables, though, for folk in wheelchairs. I imagine (given how kind, accommodating owners are) that space could be made inside or a table moved to the interior front entrance area!“
“My fiancé and I LOVE coming here on Sunday mornings for breakfast sandwiches and butterscotch coffee. From the moment you’re at the front doors, you feel like you’re in Europe. The atmosphere of the market is very inviting, and somehow calm and chaotic at the same time. The staff is kind and the place is always crowded (because of how popular they are,) but they always remain calm, cool and collected and we’ve never had a wrong order. We will keep coming back!!“
“These rolls are amazing served up by the nicest people! Smiles everywhere! The soul roll with the hot honey sauce is a perfect vegetarian choice. The collards are even made with vegetable stock. Don’t forget the hot honey sauce. The perfect balance between hot and sweet. The heat hangs out just long enough for the honey to cool your tongue for another bite! What a great experience.“
“Very cool place that I just figured out existed. If you're trying to lay off the booze or take a break they have CBD liquor and drinks they're about the same price as alcohol and relax you. It's a great spot to just chill and find different things from a full-service bar, live music, full service food, and CBD products if you're trying to take a break“
“First time in Charlotte and happened to stop in here to grab a late breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and friendly demeanor of the staff. (Visiting from Orlando and there is nothing like this back home) Sat at the bar area and was pleasantly surprised by the selection of beer/wine/mimosas. Alexis was super outgoing and really welcoming! Both her and Brandon had some great recommendations for how to spend my time in the QC! I could really tell that the locals enjoyed coming in and seemed like everyone was treated as family. 100% recommend stopping in!“
“First time at Rusty's, and boy have I been missing out. My late grandpa used to always talk about this place, and now I know why. They have a broad range of menu items, and they have weekday specials. This place can get busy but the tables are first come, first serve and they turn fast. There won't be a long wait unless you see it out of the door. The South Charlotte cheesesteak with beef and mushrooms added was phenomenal. I'd say top two of the ones I have had in Charlotte. The bread is definitely wasn't made it. Crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The Reuben was delicious too - sooo cheesy. The burgers were large and flavorful, with plenty of bacon on it. What a great staple of a deli!“
“A lunch staple! Seemingly impossible to pick a bad sandwich, my favorite is always the Hot Roast Beef. Paired with a bag of Voodoo chips and a local draft from the bar, and you’re all set. Don’t forget a hot sauce from the market on the way out!Dietary restrictions: They’ve got gluten free bread!Parking: They validate parking“
“I love this place. I'm still thinking of their bbq tofu sandwich for weeks now. I ordered, grabbed some chips, paid (cashier is on other side of the deli), picked up my food and sat at the bar solo. It was busy at 3:30p on a Wednesday. I am writing this review despite having a broken hand. That's how much I really like this place.“
“First time experiencing Noda Market and Deli! Read the reviews and decided to give them a shot. And glad we did! Got the Turkey sandwich and Philly steak, both done well. Minus a couple minor things, overall nice first time. Friendly service and good food is what we got and we appreciate it! Definitely try this place!“
“What a pleasant surprise and experience it was to find such a great deli not far from home! I had the best Reuben I've had in years@ It was realky fresh, had perfectly balanced portions of sourkraut with finely sliced pastrami and a beautiful and tasty homemade sauce. Delish! The potato chips were grest and the pickle was super crispy. Yummy! Haley, was friendly and engaging which msde for a nice visit. I went during the slow time between 3 and 4:30 and it was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this place. The prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend it!“
“turkey Rueben was good but not great, the kraut was only in the middle of the sandwich so when cut in half it was a little bit on each side but if you don't really like the kraut- this is perfect to get the flavor but not the actual kraut - the bread was great and the turkey was good! Def will be back.Parking: lots of parking available -easy to get in and out“
