“This place has been in my radar for years and finally got to go. My first impression driving up was it looks like a hole in the wall. But, usually a hole in the wall has the best food and that is exactly what we got. I took my parents and from the moment we entered the wait staff was so accommodating, addressing my parents as mommy and daddy. Loved it. My father is wheelchair bound and it was easy access for him to get in minus one little ledge. We started with the spring rolls and pancake, both were fresh and crispy. The pancake was served with lettuce and fresh mint, cilantro, and Thai basil. Roll one up with some sweet dipping sauce and enjoy. We also ordered the curry squid and rice noodles with tofu. I will dream about the tofu noodles for a long time. So savory. Definitely a must try. I wish this place was closer because I would eat there every day.“

“I have visited this place with some time to kill and I had the mango mason jar. I love the fruit in the mason jar and also the decorated fruit. This is a great drink. Definitely get it and also the guy at the front on the register was very nice to me that we go to the spot if you like Boba or tea it was very pretty inside as well which I really enjoyed. “Yo this place is pretty tight. Kitschy for my taste but I don't really mess with boba or smoothies much. Sandwiches are on point. Good bread and veggies, cheap, and you can put eggs on any sandwich at any time of day... What else is there friends? Coffee and milk tea are bomb, haven't tried the noodles but I'm sure they bang too--always people with time on their hands getting down on some vermicelli. Yeah, if you're rushing across town and don't feel like getting caught up on either side of independence, pull off at the shamrock light and take a beat. Y'all welcome.“
“This was the best meal I have had in a while! My banh mi was absolutely delicious—it was tender, crunchy, so flavorful and the bread was the perfect chewy, crispy baguette. I ate it in the parking lot in my car—I wanted a taste before I went back to work and ended up eating the whole thing like a mannerless beast. I’m not sorry, either. I would do it again. I am currently trying to get every last boba in my milk tea. It’s that good!! Go get some…now. Really, do it now.“

“Been here twice and hasn't disappointed! Don't expect anything fancy this is a hole in the wall type of place, which I find usually have the best food. The lady who works here is so sweet and is super attentive. Last time I ordered the tripe pho, the broth was flavorful and the veggies were very fresh. This time I got the pork vermicelli and it was so good. They didn't skimp on the meat and it was a good split between fatty and lean, charred to perfection. It was a big portion and my fiancé had to help me finish it. We also tried the pickled lemon juice which was interesting, it tasted like pickle juice + lemonade which honestly was good post-run. Overall this is a consistently good vietnamese place that we will be coming back to!“

“I lived in Taiwan for over ten years.The Bubble Milk Black Tea and Spicy Beef Noodle are absolutely legit.The portion is enormous: one order could fill up two people.It's like a quart of broth.Al dente noodles.Everything kept separated until you mix it when you're eating it.Truly spicy: their jalapeño are even fresh - that tells you everything.The restaurant is spotlessly clean, run by a family, and very friendly.Zero bad things to say.See photos for proof.Vegetarian options: You won't find fresher vegetables. “Very interesting flavors if you haven't had vietnamese food. Very fresh, but simple. Prices are fair, but the simplicity makes me think if I would be better off cooking the dishes at home instead, although I only tried one dish and would like to see what else they can do. The flavor was really good after all, and the portions are more than enough to satisfy you.The place is really interesting looking on the I side, and if this tells you anything like it does to me, I ate surrounded with what seemed to be people with a closer culture than my own to this place and its food. That is always one of the most relevant points in favor in places like this.Will be coming back!“
