“Not sure what some of these reviewers are talking about with low scores. This place is excellent and a true hidden gem. Maybe they're getting something irregular, but I've enjoyed their BBQ the most, but also enjoyed their sandwiches like the Reuben and the chicken parm.I'll add a pic of the BBQ on a return visit, and as someone that has done 19/20 of the NC Historic BBQ trail spots, this one can hang at least with their BBQ. You have to be a fan of the country style cooking because most meals are set around having 2 vegetables as a side, which are more in line with your K&W cafeteria level“
“We went a couple of hours before closing. They were out of many items but the waitress was pleasant and funny when she had to come and tell us after we had ordered as she wasn't aware they were out since the kitchen staff never posted it on the board. The food we did get was good except the Mac and cheese was cold and the rib tips were tough The pulled pork was amazingly delicious. The ribs are enormous so be prepared to need a to go box if you are not a big eater. The corn bread was yummy. The bathroom was not very clean but usable which is a concern, at least for me, of how clean the kitchen is.This was not our first time here, bit it was the first time since the buffet has been opened every day of the week. We have been at least 2 other times before the buffet. This time was not as enjoyable as the other times but everyone is human and has a not good day. We will be back to give it another chance to prove this day is not the new normal.“
“My wife and I frequent this Cracker Barrel in Morgantown NC. It's not far from our house and the food is really good. The last two times we were there, Sam was our waitress. Sam is very attentive, friendly and exactly what you'd want in a waitress. We go here at least once a month if not more.“
