“We decided to grab a light lunch at Bonjour Banh Mi & Tea. I chose the sausage roll, summertime roll, and pork dumplings. The pork dumplings were really tasty. The sausage roll had great sauce, but the filling was a bit lacking. I accidentally ordered the "fresh" summertime roll instead of the "delightful" vegetarian version. The fresh one had shrimp, which was okay but unexpected (note they did offer to give us the other when I asked which was the summer roll). Next time, I'll go for the brisket banh mi.“

“Our dinner club, consisting of 7 friends, recently dined at this establishment and collectively rated it an average of 8.75 out of 10. Remarkably, the highest initial score awarded was 9.6 out of 10; however, the member later retracted their score, acknowledging that they may have exaggerated but still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. On the other hand, the lowest rating came in at 8.2 out of 10. This marks the highest average score we have given yet. Everyone thoroughly seemed to enjoy their meal. One member even said that he would be able to drink a gallon of the sauce his meal came with. We tried a majority of the menu and didn't find one thing we didn't like.“

“We've been coming here for years since it was in the old location. It was always good, but it's gotten better over the years. Once in a while, we try different Thai restaurants, and even when they are good, they are not as good as this one. We keep coming back because they never disappoint.Vegetarian options: You can have tofu instead of meat. I'm not sure about the broth. When a few people at our table asked for tofu instead of meat, they asked if we were vegetarian because the dish also had eggs“

“Had a lot of fun here with the wide variety of dishes to pick from. The menu can be a little intimidating at first, but honestly, just look at pictures and go with whatever you think will be good. Personally, I liked the dry noodle dishes better, but that's just because I'm not a huge broth person. The noodles were great, they are all very "slurpable", and it was kind of fun to experience the cartoon-like feeling of slurping noodles and have them glide. Really cool place, would recommend to try it out!“

“Incredible! Very authentic! As a world traveler and frequent visitor/business owner that has been to Thailand over the past thirty years this restaurant is perfect in every way. The sauces, noodles and curries are all prepared exactly the way you would find in Thailand. The spicy levels are very easy to identify with- usually I ask for Spicy or level 5 or Thai Spicy and today we went with Spicy (one step below Thai Spicy). I actually needed some more Chili powder but it was ideal!! Not too hot! Thanks for a super meal !“

“Pho Thien Phat: Where Flavor Meets Comfort. Nestled in the heart of Cary, the recently opened Pho Thien Phat promises an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a serene ambience that's perfect for a cozy meal or a gathering with friends and family. The restaurant boasts a spacious interior with tasteful decor, creating an inviting atmosphere. But it's not just the Vietnamese traditional decor that makes Pho Thien Phat stand out. The friendly staff adds a warm and welcoming touch to your dining adventure, making you feel right at home. Now, let's dive into the culinary delights that make Pho Thien Phat the undisputed champion of pho in town. We ordered the following: 1. CHẢ GIÒ (Fried Shrimp and Pork Egg Rolls): The appetizer set the tone with crispy perfection. The delightful combination of shrimp and pork in the egg rolls made for a mouthwatering start to the meal. 2. Phở Đặc Biệt (Special Pho): The star of the show, Pho Thien Phat's special pho is an absolute masterpiece. The soup base, brimming with flavor, is a symphony of textures, thanks to slices of eye round steak, done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and tripe. Each spoonful is an explosion of taste that keeps you coming back for more. 3. Vietnamese Sub with Grilled Pork: The banh mi lovers won't be disappointed either. The grilled pork in their Vietnamese sub is tender and well-seasoned, making for a satisfying sandwich. 4. Bánh Canh (Udon Noodles with Roast Pork & Shrimp): A delightful fusion of flavors and textures awaits in this dish. The udon noodles complement the roast pork and shrimp perfectly, creating a harmonious and comforting bowl. 5. Cơm Tấm Bì Sườn Chả (Grilled Pork Chop, Shredded Pork Skin, and Pork Cake on Broken Rice): The grilled pork chop is a standout in this classic Vietnamese dish. Paired with the crispy pork skin and tender pork cake, it's a plate of pure indulgence. 6. Bún Bò Huế (Rice Vermicelli in Spicy Beef Noodle Soup): If you crave a spicy kick, the Bún Bò Huế is a must-try. The rice vermicelli and the spicy beef noodle soup, adorned with pork hock and pork sausage, provide a flavorful adventure for your taste buds. 7. Hủ Tiếu / Mì Bò Kho (Rice or Egg Noodles with Beef Stew): For noodle enthusiasts, this dish is a revelation. The rich and savory beef stew pairs flawlessly with rice noodles, creating a hearty and satisfying meal. Highly recommended besides the pho is the Xi Quách, which is undoubtedly the bone marrow with a generous portion of tendon bone. The first bite is an indulgent revelation. The marrow, rich and buttery, practically melts in your mouth, releasing a luscious, meaty flavor that is unparalleled. What truly sets Xi Quách apart is the tendon. These braised tendrils provide a textural contrast that elevates the dish to another level that balances the velvety marrow. And let's not forget the refreshing drink options: - Coconut Juice: A cooling and sweet drink that complements the savory dishes perfectly. - Coconut Juice with Pandan Jelly: Take your coconut juice up a notch with the addition of pandan jelly, adding a delightful twist to this classic beverage. In conclusion, Pho Thien Phat is more than just a pho restaurant; it's a culinary haven that delivers not only delicious food but also a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. With a menu that caters to various tastes, it's easy to see why Pho Thien Phat is the best pho spot in town, and it's a place you'll want to visit again and again.“

“This hole in the wall of a shopping center is delicious! I wasn't sure about them at first. When I placed my order, I ordered Sesame Chicken for my mom and the Orange vegetarian option (bean-curd maybe?) for myself. Apparently, the worker who took my order assumed I only wanted to order vegetarian, and just made me the Sesame vegetarian option. Thankfully, I checked my bag before leaving and realized I was missing a dish, and the dish I had was not the one I ordered. I bought a Sesame Chicken and was told that orange veg is the same as Sesame veg, only it has sesame seeds on it... riiiight. I had just finished unloading my 26 foot UHAUL after driving for two days straight. I was starving and did not care what she gave me as long as my dish was vegetarian. My Sesame Veg was really, really good! They did not skimp out on the protein! I think there were only like three peices of actual vegetable in the dish, but they were at the bottom of the bowl, soaking in the sauce and so good. Mom says her sesame chicken was just as delicious! If I am ever back in this area (we were dropping off the UHAUL), I will be back! Maybe I'll see if the orange veg actually tastes like Sesame veg... I somehow doubt it! Lol“
