“This place is amazing! Southern cooking at its best. I got country fried steak, fried apples, collards and rice w/gravy. My first time here and the staff acts like they have known me forever. Truly amazing atmosphere and even better food! Will def be back.“
“Our family loves to stop by the Church Street Grill for breakfast or lunch. The food is very affordable and always tastes good. It has that great little diner feel and southern hospitality.Kid-friendliness: My husband often takes our toddler daughter here for a breakfast date so Mama can sleep in. Ha! They have high chairs and booths.Parking: There are only a few parking spots out front, but there is plenty of parking on the side of the building or across the street in a big lot.“
“Everyone was really nice there. They said good morning switch shock me, but I felt really welcome even the server we had was great with telling the menu since it was my first time being there! I will come back when I come back for dreamvilla next year!!!“
“I went to get lunch with my dog after visiting the dog park. I went through the drive-thru and was served by a young lady named nora. She was very polite and worked in a timely manner. I got my food relatively quickly and was able to leave with no issues. She also included my ranch sauce. It was a good experience. Will come back again.“
“This is our dinner stop enroute to Hilton Head. South of here is a food desert until Florence - so it has become our go to. The meals are always delicious and sized right. I love the BBQ plate and SO always gets the fish special. The best feature is the staff, always efficient and friendly without the hovering that sometimes gets awkward. Located in a small strip mall, the scene is modern/clean. Not romantic but good enough for a date.“
“Stayed one night at a hotel in Rocky Mount, NC. Google search for 'breakfast near me' and was led to this gem! Walk in the door and feel comfortable and welcomed. Service was great, food was great and absolutely beautiful presentation on the plate! Place is neat, clean and inviting. Don't miss this place if staying in or around Rocky Mount!“
“This restaurant was a great find. The food tasted great and the service was even better. We had a bigger party last minute and they were able to accommodate us no problem. The deep fried green tomatoes and wings were my favorites but everything tasted really good. Best part was the prices. We will definitely be back next time we come to town. Give it a shot.“
“This place was amazing the owner was super charismatic me and my brother were in the parking lot for a couple hours because our truck had overheated he came over offered us help and invited us in he was a very kind person and his employees were top tier sitting there to eat felt very comfortable and the food was immaculate I can't encourage you enough to go there and give it a try“
“It's a quintessential cafeteria. Very Cafeteria vibe with not much table privacy. Food came out quickly and was hot & hearty. Taste? Very Cafeteria-like. Not bad if you need something quickly on your way to work. Not somewhere I will go to often.Con: MUST use cash. No electronic payments are accepted.“
“The food was great and the service was wonderful. It's an easy place to go to when you just want a good solid breakfast. It's nothing fancy, it's a basic restaurant that has good food. I'm not much of a waffle person but I decided to try it and it was very good. I got the children's/seniors size waffle and bacon and I couldn't eat all the waffle. Really good price for the meal.Vegetarian options: They will custom prepare your food for the way you like it.“
“Undoubtedly the best thin-cut ribeye I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a LOT of ribeyes of all sizes). Very decent salad bar. The chicken salad and steamed vegetables could use some work, and they should really add wine & beer to the menu, but that’s neither here nor there. Not only were the ribeyes excellent, but the service and atmosphere were among the best (if not the best) I’ve ever experienced. Someone anonymously paid for my little family’s meal, which blew me away, and the staff gave my young daughter chocolates for Valentine’s Day. My day was made in a much-needed way that I can’t express or explain here… things have been tough lately, but I wasn’t going to go a Valentine’s Day without celebrating with my girls, and God blessed me through the people at Nashville Exchange for taking them out to have lunch there. This place is an absolute gem.“
