“This is one of my favorite local places, and it'll be yours too if you enjoy good old comfort food or "soul food" Ms. Ann and Mr. Willie run this restaurant with great pride, and it shows in their food. They have daily specials as well as regular menu items. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, with the specials changing Daily and Weekly. They have a wide variety of homemade desserts, cakes and pies. They also offer bulk ordering and personal catering for special events. The restaurant is decorated nicely and always very clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful. We will continue to visit this establishment!“
“My wife and I eat here on Tuesdays. I consider the food to be on par with more expensive places, and a bargain at her prices. Chef Kelly is very nice and works exceptionally hard. She is a one person operation right now so don’t be in a hurry, but in my opinion it’s worth the wait.“
“I visited the Tarboro NC location. Our wait was like 3-4 minutes, if that. Food came out quick. Nice and hot. Service was good. Staff was very friendly. The lady noticed that our accent didn't sound like the locals there. She asked "Where are you guys from"? You don't sound like us. We answered Maryland.I would definitely eat there again.“
“The other day I was looking for somewhere to take a dear, elderly friend for dinner. We were quite early for the dinner hour (4:30pm), I drove to the front door knowing they weren't open for dinner yet. When I entered I was met by Stephen (owner/chef) who was busy working a crew for an off-site catering. He was kind enough to stop what he was doing to speak with me and offered my friend (who doesn't walk well) a table at the front of the restaurant. The servers were setting tables and quickly set up our table as I helped my friend in. THANK YOU! To Stephen and his amazing staff (Mary, Xavier, and the others) for a phenomenal evening for Evella and myself. SERVICE is EVERYTHING! Our meal was spectacular, as well were the drinks!“
