“Came about an hour prior to sunset and my shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta had an amazing pink sauce that reminded me of thick and creamy lobster bisque soup! I couldn't have asked for a better meal! Well worth the $37.00. And we had a beautiful pink and orange sunset.“

“My wife and I went there after golf, and we had a reservation. Which is a MUST! This place is always packed. We had the oysters Rockefeller to start, simply delicious. The complimentary homemade chips are exceptional . I had the traditional Calabash fry, flounder, and scallops. Why not for $34 ! I had it blackened, and it was outstanding! My wife had the special, which was seabass and really enjoyed it. We had a nice bottle of chardonnay to go with it, a great night. Our server, Lawanda, was great and very attentive ??“
“We had a great experience. The ribeye and prime rib were delicious tender and cooked as we requested. We also enjoyed a crème brûlée which was also very good. The food all came in a timely manner didn’t have to wait long at all to be served. The waiter Pauly did an awesome job. He was very attentive and was did everything he could to ensure we had a great experience. We will DEFINITELY go there again and you all should give it a try. They did not disappoint.“

I've never seen such large chicken tenders and my son, who's a very picky eater, loved them and the honey-mustard that came with them. I had the shrimp and clam strips, they were wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection and there was no way we could eat it all in one sitting. In addition to the great food, the staff was friendly and helpful.Can't wait to come back again! Karim the owner came out from the kitchen and spoke to everyone in the restaurant which was very nice. His daughter waited on us and the service was excellent! “I've been eating at this restaurant for several years when I'm visiting the beach, and find the food to be consistently delicious, and the service to be mostly really good. My favorite dishes are the Chicken Casa Bella, the burgers, the salads, and triggerfish (if it's available - offered as a special for the evening. I also really like the brownie a la mode dessert.This is a popular place to eat, so I find that at the height of the vacation season, it's best to get there early and avoid a wait. I also find that the service is best before they get super-busy. The staff works hard, but can get overloaded when big groups come in.“

“Beck's lay claim to being one of the originators of the Calabash style shrimp. When compared to their competitors, Beck's easily stands near the top. The lightly battered and quick fried popcorn shrimp produces a fresh and very tasty plate of seafood. Dipped into either their tangy, horseradish flavored cocktail sauce or the pleasing tartar sauce only highlights the tender shrimp. We were given a warm basket of hush puppies w honey butter once we were seated. We added a salad and chose a baked potato in place of the fries for the sides, which were good. However, the bountiful plate of shrimp w Cole slaw could easily have been a meal in itself. Modern decor, plenty of seating, and quick service rounded out our experience. Super glad we paid a visit.“

“1st time here. Menu looked good. Got there when they opened at 4 pm. Was greeted with a smile and taken to a table. Nice atmosphere. Was greeted right away by Dakota. He was awesome. Very attentive. I ordered the blackened prime rib. Was hesitant because I am very picky on prime rib. I also have never tried blackened prime rib. Husband ordered the shrimp and grits. The prime rib was delicious!!!! Best in the area in my opinion. Husband loved the shrimp and grits, minus the tails were on. By 4:30, there were a lot of people there. Highly recommend and we will return with Friends. Thank you Dakota for such great service. 2nd time back. Wasn't busy. Our server Renay was very attentive and very nice. Food was really good, but disappointed no more prime rib. Got the blackened filet, it was real good. Will return.“
“Take out. My Mom brought us to Silver Hill Grill for the 40+ years we spent at Holden Beach. The food has ALWAYS been exceptional. Visited 2 weeks ago with family. The scallops and oysters that I got were scrumptious, lightly breaded and not greasy. The fried shrimp was stiff and overly breaded, maybe was prefrozen. French fries were not straight out of the fryer and a little cold. I didn't care for the slaw but I can be picky. “I ordered the Sirloin tips with baked potato and 1 trip to the salad bar. Salad bar was well stocked and everything was fresh and good. Steak tips turned out to be a thin sirloin cut up in straps. They were tasteless with no seasoning and overcooked. Baked potato was done, but whoever cut it open cut through the foil and I wound up picking foil out of my potato. I think maybe I just ordered the wrong meal.“
