“We love Swains. We've been regulars for years. The service is great and friendly and the food is amazing. The new early bird specials are fantastic too. We really enjoy the seafood and the appetizers and I have had some of the best char broiled steaks I've ever had there. You have to try the peel and eat shrimp with the Florida seasoning. Don't even get me started on the amazing desserts. Swains is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area and we'll be back there soon. Tuesday we were there and I had a juicy and delicious tomahawk pork chop. It was fantastic. See you there!“

“The Break was a highlight meal on our recent visit to OKI. First of all, Gracie is the sweetest and best waitress! She never acts like she’s too busy, is attentive and polite… and personally brings you a little treat with your check. The food is SOOO good… you know if the owner is in the kitchen cooking, it’s a well-loved restaurant. For breakfast, I LOVE the yogurt with granola and berries… it feels healthy and DELICIOUS. For lunch, the jerk chicken wrap was AMAZING. Try the ginger soy dressing for your salad… just mouth-watering good. To top it all off- get a champagne drink with berries… cause, you’re at the beach! “Our new favorite restaurant on Oak Island, we loved our food and server, Keely. Be warned, the appetizers are huge and can easily be a main dish. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Wonton Tacos from the starter menu as my main dish on Keely's recommenation and they were amazing! One that I'll probably get every time we visit. We also ordered the Crab and Shrimp Dip, which was a huge serving. We could have easily just split it for lunch and walked out happy.“
