Well that was me yesterday. We had no expectations walking in, but got everything we didn't know we needed. O-ku's coziness is perfect for date night. The food was so yum and our server was lit. Idk if every table gets this, but she brought us this special salmon sashimi that was soooo buss. Personally I think it's cause we're a hot gay couple. Yea she was awesome. Anyway, I had the best day of my life and I'm glad to say O-ku was part of it.“

“This is not a restaurant, it's a private kitchen where the chef prepares in front of the guests 12 different courses of Japanese fusion food and serves with matching wine and sake for maximum 6 guests. That's right the restaurant can sit at most 6 customers. The ingredients come daily from Japan and the food is absolutely delicious. “Dinner at The Cowfish is always a win. We’ve visited the Orlando location dozens of times, but tonight bisited the Charlotte location since we were in town. Faith, our server, recommended the Togarashi shrimp, and it was phenomenal. Mel, the manager, came out and spoke to us about our visits to Orlando, made some more recommendations, and made sure we were well set for the evening. We had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and Texas chili cheeseburger, both were absolutely excellent. The Cowfish is a must stop in Charlotte or Orlando!“

“Best Poke in Charlotte.Parking is easy! There are spots in the garage and on the back side of the business park. So easy to go to the light in in then go around the building to the building.Staff is super knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating. Price is in line with normal poke and all the ingredients are super fresh. Had a wonderful conversation with the manager and owner of the restaurant while dining in. “Fantastic find in Charlotte. I visit my son here, traveling from the west coast. The fish is of the highest quality, and only is the freshest and most in season fish served. Clearly the owner and chefs here know a lot about sushi. If you like mayonnaise rolls with fried tidbits floating in eel sauce then stay away, but if you appreciate the best fish, served in perfect bite sized portions then run here! Service is excellent, the wait staff take a lot of pride in this restaurant, I can tell.“

“Bricktops has been a family favorite for years in Charlotte! It's a great spot for everyone. Their menu is extensive and has lots of options no matter what you're in the mood for! “The service here is great, both quick and friendly. The food is authentic and traditional. If you want Japanese food, this is where you get it. The food is reasonably priced, considering how good it tastes. I would definitely recommend as a family experience if you have older kids, as the small building would not accomodate for super loud noise.Dietary restrictions: If you are vegetarian or dairy free, their menu can accommodate for that naturally since a lot of their dishes do not have dairy. Also, since many dishes are rice-based, gluten intolerance may be accommodated for as well. If you have Celiac's though, I'd contact the restaurant since they do have wheat noodles in their ramen and I'm not sure if they have gluten free soy sauce.“

We walked in and were immediately greeted, we had the choice of where we wanted to sit, and they even have an outdoor area...which in hindsight we wish we would e utilized. The ambiance is great, they have a bar as well which we like. I ordered the Cherry Blossom roll and Spring Rolls for an appetizer. Both were delicious! I then ordered the Red Curry 3 star, the perfect heat for me and the flavors were perfect, My partner ordered the Pad Thai, and it looked delicious as well, he wouldn't share lol. “Awesome experience at Konnichiwa tonight. Food quality was great we had calamari and tempura vegetables appetizers. My wife had the Mango Madness sushi roll which looked great and I had a shrimp hibachi bowl which was huge and full of shrimp and vegetables Yum!! The service was also great, our server was always there asking if we needed anything. I also checked out the restroom and I must say was very clean and smelled nice. I gave them a 4 in atmosphere due to the small space. There aren’t many table but it’s okay for me because I only order takeout. Every dish that I’ve tried I loved except for the Lo mein noodles, to me they are too dry. The fried rice is superior to any fried rice I’ve had in the area. Lately, I’ve been getting the honey and sweet&sour chicken. The sauce comes on the side and the chicken pieces are small and crunchy. If you get a combo, it comes with a spring roll or egg roll. The spring roll is crispy with a peppery cabbage filling that pairs well with these sweet and savory dishes.“

“The service is good! But the food was eh. Chicken was over cooked and chewy. Shrimp was slightly burnt and had a burnt flavor. Fried rice was flavorless. Carrots seemed to be over done and didn’t match the dish. Brocolli was done good though. The calamari was okay, but was also slightly overcooked.We only got the hibachi dishes and calamari, did not try the sushi so that may have been a better choice.“
